Twenty Eight

"The princess? Where have you been?" bagas Basuwardi's question left Renjana who had just entered the house aghast in shock.

"Ah, Papi hasn't slept?" ask Renjana. "I was from the restaurant, and I didn't bring a vehicle. Because of the heavy rain I'm stuck there."

Bagas exhaled a rough breath. He approached his daughter, and stroked her hair gently. "Princess, for some reason, lately Papi feels like you're moving away. What's the matter exactly?"

Renjana shook her head in panic. "It's just Papi's feeling. I'm just keeping myself busy with work. And it turns out that jumping directly to work like that is very exciting than just waiting for a report from home," Renjana reasoned.

"really?" ask Bagas Basuwardi unsure.

"Yes. That's why I'm rarely home. Oh yeah, I'm upstairs first, Pi. I want to take a shower, my body already feels sticky." Renjana bailed to her room, leaving Bagas Bauwardi who was still looking at her with a difficult to interpret gaze.

After the death of Renjana, Elena, Jefry, Jendra and Reandra immediately approached Bagas. The four people had been hiding behind a large pillar in the middle room. They hide so Renjana feels comfortable answering Bagas's questions.

Lately, Renjana is no longer open to them. Even with Jefry, he seemed to be moving away.

"Did Papi believe the Princess' answer?" elena asked her husband.

Bagas exhaled heavily, "Bapi doesn't know," he said.

"Is the Princess like this because of her engagement plan with the Prince?" ask Jendra. His words made him get a sharp spotlight from Jefry.

"Don't talk recklessly. Princess can't be like that. After all, he'll agree to this probation."

Reandra nodded, "Right. I agree with Brother Jef. I feel like there's something else the Princess is hiding."

"You've been watching him more than we do, don't you know anything?" jendra's question addressed to Reandra made the man swallow his saliva rough. Indeed, among them, he was the one who was more watching his sister's movements.

"I really don't know." Reandra couldn't possibly say you've been in jail lately close to Gumilar. They promised to free Renjana. After all, he felt Gumilar was unlikely to affect his sister. He knows a lot about that guy.

On the other hand, Renjana was laying her body on the bed. His gaze pointed at the ceiling of the room, but his mind floated in another direction.

His conversation with Gumilar had been reflected back in his memory. All the words of submission to the destiny of life that came out of Gumilar's mouth made him realize that Gumilar was a religious man.

From the beginning, Renjana had already felt admiration for Gumilar. And the more they got here, the more the admiration grew as they got closer. There are things that make Renjana feel afraid. He was afraid, if the admiration in his heart even changed to something else.

Renjana shook her head, trying to wake herself up. Why is he thinking there. After all, it was just an ordinary admiration, right? I hope so.

"Ah, I haven't contacted the Prince in a few days. How are you, huh?" suddenly Renjana remembered the Prince. He missed his best friend. The beautiful girl the daughter of the Basuwardi family went to sit down, and took her cellphone which was still connected to the charger because it was lowbat.

"Gosh, it's ten o'clock in the night. The prince must have been sleeping" he murmured.

"Ah, I'd better call her in the morning." Renjana finally laid herself on the bed, closed her eyes and slowly the beautiful girl began to enter the dreamland.

"Sir, I went there first. Want to buy a peck!"

"Good, Miss. Be careful, you're crossing. The road is crowded with vehicles."

"Yes, Sir!"

The teenage girl finally crossed the road, before making sure the road was safe for her to cross.

"Ah, safe!" he muttered before stepping out of the car.

Wait a few minutes for him to get what he wants due to the queue at the place he bought. After she finished paying, the girl turned around and intended to cross into the car where she had come down earlier. As at the beginning, he looked around first before stepping. Feeling safe, he started walking with carefree steps.

But unfortunately, a car that had been silent about a hundred meters from him, drove so fast towards him. As if it was all set, the car might have noticed him and moved after he was in the middle of the highway. The driver who had been waiting next to the car was shocked. He ran as fast as he could when he saw a car heading towards his master. He finally managed to push the employer before the car touched the body of his employer. Unfortunately, he was late to move so he was the victim of a collision.

The eyes of Renjana were immediately open. His breathing was breathless, as well as sweat flooding all over his body. Why...he suddenly had a horrible dream earlier? Does this have anything to do with the accident that involved Gumilar's father?
