"Have four days of tea here A', did Siti's parents disagree with Batra?" Ask Cempaka.
Rozi who was playing with Farraz on the hotel bed could only be silent. His thoughts with Cempaka were almost the same. By not contacting them, it was certain that the Siti family had subtly rejected them.
"A', we have to do something. Poor Nyak and Batra, they had tea all the way to Padang. But there is no result A'." Cempaka.
"What do we do?" Ask Rozi.
"Do I have to talk to Siti's family?" Ask Cempaka.
Rozi was silent again.
"A', answer A'. It's tea for Batra and Envy. I don't want this all to be in vain. Pity oruh Batra and Siti A'. They love each other tea. If they elope how's A'a?"
Rozi sighed. Then, he nodded his head.
"Let's go to Siti's house. Farraz we put together Batra and Nyak." Rozi.
"Come A', before it's too late." Cempaka.
Tok..! Tok..! Tok..!
There was a knock from outside the door of the hotel room Batra and Nyak Tatik. Batra, who was lying idling, moved from his bed.
"Siape?" Ask Nyak Tatik.
"Mane knows, so it's open." Batra.
Batra opened the door of his room and looked at Rozi and Cempaka who were holding Farraz.
"Eh Bang," said Batra, then he invited his brother and sister-in-law into the room.
"Neither, nitip the Farraz expanse ye." Rozi.
"What do you both want? why don't you make me..?"
"You're looking for some fresh air, just a moment. The time all the way here is not your honeymoon. Is it okay to have another grandchild?" Ask Rozi.
Nyak Tatik smilingly looked at the child and his daughter-in-law.
"Gi bye, here's my granddaughter. Make a lot of ye. Let me be cool, home is rame." Tatic Nyak.
"Ok Nyak's... Iidup..!" Rozi. While Cempaka just smiled shyly in response to his father-in-law's words.
The drizzle had already started to fall, as Cempaka and Rozi exited the hotel where they were staying.
Rozi and Cempaka immediately entered a taxi that was waiting for hotel passengers who were going to travel.
They both immediately asked the taxi driver to deliver them to Siti's home address.
Thirty minutes later, they arrived at Siti's house. The house looks empty. Cempaka and Rozi entered the courtyard of the house that looks very thick shades of Minangkabau.
Cempaka also ventured to knock on the door of the house.
A few minutes later, Halimah's mother opened the door for the two of them.
"Oh, guys. Please masuak." (Red-rash-in) Said Ibu Halimah.
"Thank you Mother." Cempaka.
The atmosphere was a little clumsy, the owner of the house did not look as cold as when they first visited the house.
Cempaka and Rozi immediately realized that their proposal was definitely rejected by the Siti family.
"We came to talk about Siti and Batra back, Mom." Cempaka.
"Oh, ambo raso, indak ado nan paralu are talked about. We as urang tuonyo si Siti, plaza want to malapehan our son." (Red-Oh, I guess, there's nothing to talk about anymore. We, as Siti's parents, have not let go of our child.)
Cempaka who already understands Minang language, only able to sigh heavily.
"Mom, I apologize in advance, if I'm pleased, I want to tell you about Siti and Batra." Cempaka.
Halimah's mother just stared at Cempaka flatly.
"Mom, they love each other. They are dating healthy. Because Siti, Batra is better. Because of Siti, Batra intends to make Siti and her family happy here." Cempaka.
Halimah's mother was silent.
"Mom, if their relationship is about, will they stop connecting? Sometimes, love can make people irrational. Instead of doing things that are out of control. Better, bless them, ma'am." Cempaka pleaded with Halimah's mother.
"You're lecturing ambo?" Ask Halimah's mother.
"I'm sorry ma'am, I don't mean that. But......"
"Ambo still indak agree..!" Said Halimah's Mother.
Cempaka was silent and looked sad.
"Cempaka," Call Siti who just came out of her room.
"Sites.."
Cempaka stood up to welcome Siti and hugged her best friend.
Siti looks thin and has eye bags. It had been four days, since Batra's proposal was rejected, Siti did not want to eat. He continues to cry over his love story that is threatened to run aground.
"You're crying tea? Your eyes look puffy." Said Cempaka while paying attention to the dark circles in both eyes of Siti.
"Bundo, Siti please, restui Siti and Batra Bundo. Siti is sure, Batra is a good person and the right one for Siti. Siti please..." Siti squeals and cries at the feet of Halimah's mother.
"Siti, you're still in college, Jan married you?" (Red-Pangana-mind)
"If you can't get married first, let Siti jo Uda Batra get engaged first Bundo. While waiting for Siti to graduate from college, indak baa doh Bundo." Siti Say.
Halimah's mother didn't budge.
"Mom, we came all the way just for Mom's son, a very beautiful and kind-hearted Siti. We and our family were very impressed with the extraordinary upbringing of Mother and Father, all of which is reflected in the daily life of Siti who is very humble and devoutly worshiped. My mother fell in love with Siti before my sister loved Siti. My mother was immediately convinced that Siti was the best of the good. Therefore, although far away, my mother still tried to come, just because she did not want to lose this pearl-like girl in her eyes." Rozi.
Halima's mother fell silent at Rozi's words.
"Mom, I understand Mom's anxiety. But please give my brother Batra a chance. Give him time to prove he is the best. If in the specified time, Batra failed. So, we know enough ourselves not to bother Siti and the family anymore." Batra.
Halimah's mother looked Rozi in the eye. Then, he looked at Siti who looked pale because during these four days, her daughter was on hunger strike.
"Bundo, Bundo himself who taught Siti to be confident with the choice that Siti will live. Now, Siti is sure and Siti has also done the Bundo istikharah prayer. Jansaanyo remains samo Bundo. Siti loves Uda Batra. Samo is like Uda Batra who loves Siti sincerely. Bundo just alun know Uda Batra well. But, Siti already knows him well, Bundo. Nan Amuah lived the life of Siti, yo Siti surang, Bundo. Siti dares to guarantee, if Uda Batra is much better than the apo that is in the mind of Bundo and Dad." Siti Say.
Halimah's mother didn't say a word. Then he got up from his seat and went into his room. Now, only Siti, Cempaka and Rozi live in the living room. Cempaka helps Siti to get up from the floor. Then, he hugged his best friend tightly, before they said goodbye to return to the hotel.
"Siti, you're her patient tea. I'm sure tea. You will be paired with Batra. Don't break up do'a ya Ti. For Allah has turned the hearts of men upside down." Cempaka.
Siti nodded and hugged Cempaka once more.
