03# Sri

The train that was boarded by Sri arrived at Senen station, Central Jakarta, at 2 am. Sri who has been to Jakarta and got off at the same station, went straight out to exit the station.

Sri was immediately attacked by a horde of transportation services in front of the station. Actually Sri really wants to go directly to her boarding house. But, he felt sad when early in the morning he came and disturbed the mother of the hostess. So Sri decided to just sit next to the food and beverage dealer in front of the station.

Incidentally, Sri's stomach was already hungry. He ordered a ketoprak and sat in the ketoprak tent.

"Where's Ma'am from?" Ask a man who is sitting right in front of Sri.

Sri looked at the man closely.

"I'm from Yogyakarta Mas." Reply Sri.

"Oh, first time to Jakarta?" Ask the man again.

"It's been a lot." Sri Saying.

The man just nodded in understanding.

"Where are you going, Mommy?" Ask the man again.

"Koyok ne wong iki ming arep mode (Red-kayak his this guy wants mode)" Gumam Sri.

The ketoprak trader delivered a plate of ketoprak that had just been made for the man. Friendly, the man smiled at the ketoprak merchant, upon receiving his order.

"Mom, let's eat." Said the man to Sri.

"Monggo Mas." Sahut Sri nodded, allowing the man to eat.

Sri looked at the man. The man was quite handsome, his eyes were shady, his nose was sharp and his lips were thin. Added to the style of clothes the man who was like a student. The man wore a white shirt behind his checkered flannel shirt that only functioned as an outer.

"Guantengeee.. (Red-great handsome.)"

Sri's daydream about the man in front of her was bought by a ketoprak trader who came to bring a plate of ketoprak Sri order.

"Matur nuwun Mas. (Thank you Mas)" Sri said upon receiving her order.

Sri immediately ate her ketoprak without caring about the man sitting in front of her again.

After he finished eating, Sri reached for a bottle of mineral water, which she placed on the table. Then, he swallowed the water until it ran out.

The man in front of her looked at Sri while smiling. Sri who had just put the bottle of mineral water returned the man's gaze.

"Why to Mas? how do you see me like that?" Sri asked who was uncomfortable with the man's gaze.

"There's nothing Ma'am. I'm first yeah." Said the man.

Sri did not answer the man's words, she just stared back at the man, muttering indistinctly.

The man paid for his order, then he approached his motorcycle and put on a helmet. The man looked back at Sri, then he smiled again while shaking his head.

Sri was more confused to see the man's behavior. Sri continued to watch the man who was acting strangely.

"Ono opo anyway? (Red-what the hell is it?)"

Sri kept watching the man until he left on his motorcycle.

"Oooo.. wong fucking shit! (Red-fucking lunatic!)" Gumam Sri's.

Sri glanced at her watch, the clock hand showing at 3:15 am. Sri sighed and propped up her chin. He is confused about what to do, while waiting for the right time to visit the boarding houses he will occupy.

Sri's eyes were fixed on her bottle of mineral water. Then, he scrunched his forehead.

"Lho, how come I'm ono? I want a wis ntek not ombe. (Red-loh how is my drinking water still there? I've been drinking.)"

Sri glanced at the empty bottle of water that she had spent. Sri noticed the brand on the bottle of mineral water, then she immediately patted her forehead hard.

"Waduhhhh tibake kleru iki. Then I want wedange wong lanang! Duhhhh Gustiiii..! Isin me...! (Red-Aduhhh I was wrong. Then I drank that guy's water! O Lordnnn..! Shame on...!)"

Sri constantly patted her forehead.

"Pantesan deweke ngguya-ngguyu ndelok me (Pantesan he smiles at me)" murmured Sri again.

Sri put her luggage into Bajaj, after all her luggage was inside Bajaj, Sri was up and sitting comfortably inside Bajaj.

Krengggggg krenggggg kenggg keng keng keng keng!

The sound of Bajaj's loud voice became the beginning of Sri's journey in the Capital. Sri smiled to herself imagining that she would wear her alma mater jacket. He also imagined how proud his parents would be when he saw himself wearing a toga robe, at graduation.

"Ealah Sri, koe iki dream. Wae durung lecture began. (Red-yaelah Sri, you are fantasizing. College has not started yet)" muttered Sri with a shy smile.

The dense smoke from the Pahangipot Bajaj, mixed in the air this morning. The famous city of Jakarta is a busy city, already crowded before sunrise. Everyone is engaged in making a living to survive in the City of dreams.

Jakarta, is the dream of people outside Jakarta itself. Many sweet promises are engraved in Jakarta. Many also give up because of the sweet promise itself. Many are successful when they return to their villages, many also bring nothing. Jakarta which looks sweet, but cruel, remains a dream until now.

Bajaj who boarded Sri stopped in front of Nyak Tatik's house. Nyak Tatik who had just returned from Mushola, saw a girl who was standing in front of the fence of his house.

Nyak Tatik approached the girl and noticed the girl's luggage.

"Sri Lu? who's going to be in my house?" Ask Nyak Tatik.

"Mum's Good." Sri replied with a smile to Nyak Tatik.

"Yes, come in." Say Nyak Tatik while opening the fence of his house.

Nyak Tatik, who was still using mukena, walked towards the pavilion of his house. While Sri who brought his luggage was, was intrigued by following Nyak Tatik's footsteps.

As the front door of the pavilion was, Nyak Tatik knocked on the door several times. Shortly after, a beautiful girl opened the door.

"Where aje lu, I ngetok many times you kaga open-bukain." Tatic Nyak.

"Sorry Nyak, I just finished my Fajr Prayer." Said the beautiful girl.

"Kah kok ayune koyok ngono (Red-darn cute this kid anyway)." Sri muttered as she looked at the girl standing in the doorway.

Nyak Tatik went into the pavilion and was followed by Sri who continued to look at Cempaka.

"Eh Cempaka, you know this, this is your new hostel friend. His name is Sri from Yogyakarta." Tatic Nyak.

Cempaka smiled looking at Sri. Then he stretched out his hand before Sri.

"Make Tea my name is Cempaka." Cempaka.

"Et bye, don't be Shabby. You're the same age as die. Die is also going to college in Mari ye right Sri?"

"Oh so Nasty."

Cempaka smiled clumsyly.

"I'm Sri." Sri Saying.

They shake hands and smile at each other.

"No, your middle room. It's konci nye. Get the money here. Let the Cempaka aje who tells you this is nye. Hunting, I'm kebelet. Early in the morning, there is a call of nature. Kudu to WC aje default nye." Say Tatic Nyak while closing his thighs.

Sri reached into his pants pocket and took out some cash and handed it to Nyak Tatik.

Nyak Tatik snatched the money, then hurriedly went to his house.

Sri was speechless looking at Nyak Tatik who was running small while holding his butt.

"My mango showed me the room." Cempaka.

"Mango?" Ask Sri.

"Mother." Cempaka.

"Where's mango?" Ask Sri.

Cempaka scrunched his forehead. Then, he shook his head and moved towards the room that will be occupied by Sri.
