Inside the quiet and luxurious hotel, Long Jie and Lu Che were enjoying dinner together.

Lu Che kept his promise. Since she agreed they wouldn't meet her parents, she didn't make things difficult for Long Jie. However.the moment Long Jie thought of Lu Che's suggestion to go to her house afterwards, she felt nervous; her palms started to sweat.

He has not prepared himself to take their relationship to the next level...

In order to hide her bewildered heart, Long Jie looked through the news on her phone while eating the steak Lu Che had cut for her.

Every time he saw Tangning's impressive photo, he would cheer; and whenever he saw the embarrassing photo of Zhen Manni, he would complain.

In the end, after the celebration dinner was over, she found the news of Charlene being seriously beaten with a photo as proof.

Long Jie lifted her head and looked at Lu Che before showing him the phone, "Is this what the Boss is doing?"

Lu Che slightly lowered his head and replied in a puzzled tone, "It seems that you have a faster source of information than me."

Long Jie was surprised by her reaction so she swapped Lu Che's plate for a chopped-up steak plate, "I just want to know. You don't need to know because everything's under control..."

"Is this Charlene brainless? Does he think people will care if he complains and whines online like this?"
