Not only did Bima come to the hospital to see Ayu, Vena came along. The mother of Bima wanted to know the reason why Ayu hated her family. Though as he remembers, Mr. Rustam is a good person and is unlikely to incite his son to commit criminal acts.
"Where's Ayu, Bim?" vena asked as she met her son in the hospital lobby.
"Maybe it's still on the IGD, Ma. Let's go over there!" bima replied while inviting her mother to go to the IGD room.
The two then walked together to the initial treatment room of the patient.
Bima and Vena immediately approached a doctor who happened to have just come out of the IGD room.
"Doc, how's the patient doing?" ask the Doctor.
"You who?" ask the Doctor.
"I am her husband, Doc," replied Bima, although she was reluctant to admit the woman who was undergoing treatment was his wife.
The doctor breathed a long breath.
"Is there a problem with Ayu?" now it was Vein's turn to ask.
The doctor began to explain Ayu's current condition. Bima and Vena were a little shocked to hear the doctor's explanation about the state of his wife. From the description of the doctor it turns out that Ayu is currently pregnant and the age of the womb is about 3 weeks. However, due to the accident, she had a miscarriage. Not only that, the doctor also explained that it is likely that Ayu will experience permanent paralysis due to collisions that hit the back which is directly related to the brain nerves.
"Right now your wife is in a coma, we've moved her to the ICU" the doctor said at the end of the statement.
"How long will he be in that coma, Doc?" ask Bima. There is a little feeling of pity in the heart of Bima when he heard the explanation from the Doctor about the condition of his second wife.
"It cannot be predicted with certainty, it can be several hours, several days, or even years" explained the Doctor.
Bima and Vena immediately saw Ayu's condition in the ICU room.
"What is the reason Ayu wants revenge with our family? Did you listen to his retribution?" ask Vena who is standing outside the ICU room.
"I haven't asked you yet, Ma. But, Ayu had tried to escape and there was an accident," replied Bima. He saw Ayu from the glass that became the divider of the room.
Not long ago there were two women who asked the whereabouts of Ayu to the nurse. And Bima knows them very well, one person is a woman who Bima once expelled because it has almost harmed Nisa and her future children. Another one is Ayu's mother. The woman Bima thought was dead.
"It's all because of you! My son was in an accident because of you! I will not forgive you. I'll report your actions to the police." Ayu's mother kept shouting at Bima.
"Please, because you happen to be their fugitive because of fraud and falsifying your own death documents, too" replied Bima casually.
"You!"
Vena slightly advanced to invite Ayu's mother to speak.
"I don't know what made you hate our family until you committed this scam. Whatever it is, we will forgive him. It's just that you still have to undergo the legal process" said Vena.
"Sad. So wise." Back his mother Ayu looked at Vena.
"What do you mean?" asked Vena who did not understand the meaning of the words besan he had just met.
"Your husband killed my husband and made my life and Ayu suffer. Therefore what's wrong if we avenge everything by destroying your son's household and taking possession of his property?!"
"Mbak, already. We better go to Ayu's room to see her condition." This time Metha did not want her brother to make a scene. Especially this at the hospital. He didn't want to deal with the hospital because of this.
"You're right. We better go inside than to see the face of the murderous family acting pretentious like angels" Ayu's mother replied. He and Metha then stepped past Bima and Vena to head to the ICU room that was in front of him.
However, the steps of his mother Ayu and Metha came to a halt when Vena said something.
"It wasn't my husband who killed your husband, but it was your husband who cheated on my husband back then" Vena said.
"What do you mean?" asked Ayu's mother by linking her eyebrows.
