Not waiting too long, finally the private driver from home came to bring a regular car to drive and pick me up. However, this time I went home together with Anissa who had just been contemplating non-stop.
From his style, he was like thinking about his mother who was being treated in the hospital. Although I have only known him, but this mind can feel.
Right in the car we deliberately chose a seat in the back, so I could get Anissa to talk. Maybe with friends venting, he can be a little more calm. However, I was still confused as to where to begin, because from then on Anissa looked very moody and would not say a word.
“Nissa, please come in,” I said while welcoming Anissa.
Not getting in the car, Anissa just flinching and ignoring my words. While Mang Kardi just stared at Anissa who had been silent.
“Hallo ... Nissa, why are you pensive?” I waved my hand right in front of Anissa.
“Ah, yes, what did you say?” In a hurry, Anissa broke the daydream.
“Nissa, get in the car. Since we'll be home soon,” tell me again.
“Oke-okay, I'll be in now.” Then Anissa opened the door and got into the car.
Along with me who also climbed on the back bench, while sitting on the right side of Anissa who was still silent. Somehow I started saying this time, because it still feels awkward to ask about his personal problems further. It was likely that he would silence again, let alone concerning his family matters.
What a hard thing Anissa is going through now, I can't even imagine if the problem happened to me. However, for now I appreciate life better than Anissa. As a teenager, needing a complete family is our reason for being able to live as we should.
Sometimes, walking on the sidewalk, looking to the side and seeing children our age still in the arms of parents is envious.
“Nissa, are you okay?” ask me to start the conversation.
Anissa also opened the tears that came out of the curve of her cheeks carefully. “Ah, Ziva, I'm fine-tuned.”
“No way you're okay again, I know what you're feeling right now.”
Anissa did not answer my words, she was only focused on staring at her backpack and occasionally threw her gaze outside the car. Along the way, he looked very sad and agitated. Though, I was present beside him to encourage him not to be sad continuously.
“Nissa, if you need a friend to confide, I'm ready to be your confiding friend tonight.”
“But, I don't want to trouble anyone by staying at your house, Ziv,” he replied very gently.
“Nissa, we are best friends, and I already consider you as a sibling. Come on, don't hesitate. Suppose I need a friend tonight,”, I said as I stared in hope.
“OK, deh, then I'll come with you home. However, if my presence bothers you, I will go home as soon as.”
“I am not that kind of person in appreciating friends. Indeed, if all this time my nature is very like a female brandalan, but not with this heart.”
“Ziva, I believe that you are a good boy. And you don't have to say that, I'll make sure that our friendship will be long.”
We ended up spending our time driving home joking around in the car. Mr. Kardi seemed to be watching us from earlier, I guess he must have felt very surprised by me. Because what he knows, I'm not an easy person to have friends with. Especially bringing him home. Anissa is the only one.
After a few minutes on the way, we reached the front of the house and Mr. Kardi entered the yard very slowly. The guard opened the gate and closed it again. Finally, we arrived in front of the terrace.
Gently, I pulled Anissa's hand to get out of the car.
“Nissa, yuk, we're out. I can't wait to invite you to dinner,” I said please.
“OK,” the answer is short.
“Nissa, why are you pensive?” my many. “Come, we're in.”
“Ah, no, Ziv. I'm just wondering, it's a house or a palace, huh?” asked Anissa innocently.
“Ah, you overdo it. Come on, we're in,” take me with you as you pull Anissa's hand.
We entered the house and headed to the room. Upon arrival in a room equipped with AC, I sat down while taking off my shoes. Followed by Anissa, he sat on the couch while staring up at the ceiling of the house. I don't know what he's doing, like feeling strange and awkward.
“Nissa, we have dinner, yuk?” take me.
“Eat night?” tanyakanya.
I nodded twice. “Iya, we have dinner first. You must be hungry, right?”
“Ziv, I'm not hungry yet,” he replied.
Hearing that, I felt very sad. Because I thought he was going to have dinner, but the rejection came from him. As a result, we just sat on the couch without a word said.
“Ziv, said you want dinner?” ask Anissa.
“I won't eat if you don't come,” I replied.
“Yes, I'm with you. But I ate a little, yes,” Anissa replied.
Rather than not, I also agreed with Anissa who finally wanted to comply with my wishes. We came out of the room and went down the second floor stairs. What makes me feel at home friends with Anissa is, she's a graceful child because she doesn't want to take off her hijab.
I wanted to wear a hijab, but my heart still could not. So, I just wash my hair every day. Set us up at a dining table that has a large menu. I take fried chicken as a favorite.
“Nissa, what side dish do you want?” my many.
“I what side dishes, the important thing is vegetables,” replied Anissa.
“Nih, I got you fried chicken. You have to eat a lot, so fat.”
“Nak aja, I do not want fat,” replied Anissa.
We ate the menu with great pleasure, and Anissa seemed to appreciate what I had to offer tonight. Before long, the door of the house opened again and presented papa in the doorway. Carefully, he looked at us who had eaten dinner first.
“Assalammualikum ..” greet papa.
“Wa’alaikumsallam ..” answer us in unison.
On arrival at the dinner table, Anissa grabbed papa's hand and kissed him. But I watched because I had never shaken my own hand.
“Om, let's eat with us,” said Anissa.
“Wah, you guys ate first, huh?” answer papa.
“Iya, Pa, we ate first because it was so hungry.” After answering, I grabbed papa's hand and kissed her too.
