"I didn't see you last night, where have you been?" gray asked, standing right beside Ruel who was smoking a cigarette on the roof of their school as usual.
"Walking to someone."
"someone? Ah, you're starting to look mysterious now. Then who? Someone you met that didn't even visit Avolire?"
"Silver Sea."
"W-what?"
"Why do you look so surprised?"
"wait. You said you'd see him? Are you serious about that girl?"
"Hmm," Ruel nodded with a smile before returning to smoke his cigarette inside.
"Tsk, you've never been in love with someone before, once in love with a girl much older than you, are you serious?"
"I don't have time to joke now."
"I know, but ...."
"I mean it, Gray. She's a different girl. I really like it."
"Then what about Miss Sea herself?"
Ruel was silent for a moment.
"Of course."
"I don't think Miss Sea likes you that much."
"I don't care. Even if only I like it."
"Ah, look at the way you adore him. It's hard to believe" Gray replied sitting on one of the benches lined up there. "Evening Oskan was looking for you."
"You guys met each other?"
"No, he's visiting Avolire ...."
"What?"
Ruel turned his back, looking at Gray who looked quite surprised by his reaction.
"What's wrong with your reaction?"
"I never let Oskan step on Avolire."
Gray was silent for a while, looking at Ruel whose expression instantly changed, and it was quite shocking to him.
"Ruel, can I ask you something?"
Ruel let out a strong sigh, dabbled his waist and diverted the padangan in the other direction. Trying to manage his feelings that were immediately chaotic, even just by hearing Oskan who was desperate to visit Avolire, a secret place that was made a second home for them.
"I see you don't like Oskan that much, you hate him so much now. Is there something?"
"I don't need to have a reason not to like someone."
"You weren't like that to him, we were even very close. Then what's up now? I was wondering, did something happen between you that I didn't know about?"
Ruel fell silent again, propping up both hands on the edge of the parapet with his eyes still fixed on the buildings neatly lined up before his eyes.
"I knew we were close enough."
"Yes. Before Oskan plunged himself and chose to enter the dirty business that his father had run all this time."
"Dirty business? Meanin?"
"Not only smuggling liquor and drugs, Oskan also involved in other dark business, one of which is prostitution."
Gray was silent thinking. He never knew if Oskan was involved in such a business. Because what he saw so far was that Oskan's behavior was normal, almost never made a problem, and only often disappeared for a few weeks with the reason of going out of the country or something like that.
"I never knew if Oskan was involved in such a crime."
"I am too, too, quite surprised to know if all this time Oskan is one of the people included in the secret society engaged in crime by committing various crimes or activities that are contrary to the law and often harm society. And because I already knew it, so I tried to avoid it, try to avoid the problem and not get involved in it. Because I knew it would be fatal if I got involved with Oskan. Not only smuggling prohibited items, we will also be involved in killing like what happened to Oskan before."
"What do you mean?"
"You may never know, if Oskan had disappeared a few weeks ago. Not because of out of state like what the homeroom teacher said. However, he disappeared to solve a murder case he had committed to an eyewitness."
"Then how did he get away with it?"
"You forgot who's standing next to Oskan? Who was his father and how influential was his father? Mr. Svarga is a reluctant man, an underground organization that moves unofficially. However, it has an extraordinarily strict organizational."
"Is that why you don't like it?"
"If he doesn't keep bothering me. I probably wouldn't hate him."
"you reckon? He even went to visit Avolire to find me, do you think there's anything important that made him come to visit there?"
Gray was silent again. Why he never realized that.
"I was just worried, unable to persuade me, he changed his mind and incited you. He has many ways to do that, he can even trap us into a trap and be forced to follow it. Just follow Ken and be Mr. Ellgar's man. At least I won't get involved with the police, because my job isn't that dangerous."
"Ah, asshole. Why I never know."
"But you don't have to change your attitude toward him. Just know what the purpose is to approach us. I'm afraid that if you turn to him, it'll make him think of a way to trap us. But, as long as it's Jeane, I don't think Oskan will do anything."
"Jeane?"
"Oskan loved Jeane very much. And I think Oskan's weakness is Jeane."
"What's wrong with me?" ask Jeane who suddenly appeared there.
"When were you there?"
"Just now, and it's very clear if you're saying my name. What's up?"
"Is your music class over?" ruel asked, instead of answering Jeane's question which seemed to have not heard their conversation.
"Yes. Just got ...."
Ruel grabbed his bag and ran straight away, without even waiting for Jeane to finish his sentence. What a surprising reaction for Jeane and Gray who just look at each other.
Until a few minutes later, when Ruel was already standing in front of the empty music classroom, and there was only Sea there. Seemed to be tidying up some paper to put in his bag.
"Need help?"
Turn back the body, to look towards the source of the sound. Along with the smile that adorned his face when he saw the figure of Ruel who was already standing before him.
"You're not in class?" tanya Sea resumed her activities.
"No."
"Why?"
"I don't really like maths lessons," Ruel replied as he pressed a few piano tusts before sitting in his chair while continuing to stare at Sea's face.
Sea's hand movements halted for a while, looking a fleeting smile before returning to tidying up the other paper.
"So, are you going to keep ditching when that lesson goes on?"
"Hm. It was quite fun, I could have a lot of free time to sleep."
Sea re-arranged the paper on the table until it looked neat. He should be able to leave now, if he wanted to. However, for some reason he became very interested in the problems that Ruel faced today, and strangely he did not like Ruel who was indifferent to his lessons as if his school was very insignificant.
"Even if you don't like the lesson, it doesn't mean you have to keep skipping, Ruel."
"You finally said my name. Sounds very beautiful. I like it," Ruel smiled back with a look that did not escape Sea's face.
"I'm serious."
"What?"
"You don't like that lesson."
"Ah, heavy wait. I have to keep hearing all the formulas I don't understand. That's enough to make my head dizzy and can even explode. Hearing the teacher explain everything quickly made me understand and even made me very sleepy. It was as if he was reading a fairy tale for me," Ruel replied with a wide smile.
"Is it because you don't understand, you don't like the lesson?"
"Hm. Too complicated."
"I can teach you."
"W-what?"
"The math lesson isn't so complicated if you understand the formula, I can teach you if you don't mind, you can think again and ...."
"I agree," cut Ruel off quickly.
"Aren't you going to think about it first?"
"Why should I think about it again?"
"It's possible that your other activities could be disrupted ...."
"It doesn't matter, even if I have to spend my time, that long with you."
Sea flabbergasted thundering ragged Ruel, eager to laugh but in his defense. The man was really good at making his feelings jumble into nonsense.
"Are you flirting with me now?"
