ONE HOUR OF REBORN

ONE HOUR OF REBORN
Prologue 1

FATHARANI

I took a deep breath while occasionally my eyes looked at every corner of the house, there was a sadness and longing in it. Where this place leaves a lot of my memories with loved ones.

Father, Mother, Me and Sister, we started all the stories in this house. The house is not too spacious but quite comfortable and full of warmth of love in it, making anyone who is a resident of this house feel the calm and comfort in it.

Tonight I'm packing the things I'm bringing to stay in the dorm. Fatharani Shanata is the name my parents have given me since birth. Rani my familiar greeting always makes a list of necessities for every trip I will go through just to make sure no one item is left behind.

In front of the door of the room that already looks shabby is standing a middle-aged woman who for 15 years has given life to me with the pinuh of love and attention.

"Son, are you sure you'll take the scholarship and leave your own mother here ?" Ask Ms. Irma with a soft look.

With a long sigh Rani looked at her mother's eyes wistfully and deeply.

"Bun... Rani does not leave Mother, Rani is only pursuing ideals, again with Rani taking the scholarship a little Rani can reduce the burden of Mother's mind."

Ms. Irma's eyes glazed over hearing her firstborn, who was said to be a child but already had mature enough thoughts. His eyes stared back softly.

"I'm sorry, dear Mother, for not being able to provide a decent life like your peers in general."

"Mother, Rani is very grateful to be born from the womb of Mother who is very strong and tough, during this time Rani's life is very happy, indeed very happy, although not excessive but at least enough to meet all our daily needs."

My mother and I hugged each other and shed tears for each other not because of weak or crybaby but just to take off all the burdens that had been lodged on each other's shoulders.

I'm an orphan, my father died since I was in 6th grade. Before he died our lives were quite guaranteed with the income of a businessman who was quite successful in making our lives fairly well established, all primary needs to tertiary can be very easy to get.

It's just that a few months before my father died, he went into bankruptcy business until he had a stroke and eventually died. Since then our lives have changed drastically, all the property that used to exist is now slowly becoming non-existent, all used up to pay off father's debts, treatment and of course daily needs.

Seeing conditions like this makes the mother can not stay still, he twisted his brain, he, thinking hard how to get on with life and give a decent living for me and my sister who was 2 years old at the time.

With the rest of his savings, he was determined to open a rice stall that was finally able to maintain our lives until now.

I am also a small child by age but quite understand the existing conditions require me to live differently than most children my age in general.

I take care of my little sister, go to school, clean the house and occasionally help my mother in the stall into my daily routine, although in a small heart there is envy with friends who can still freely play as they please but I am quite aware of the conditions that exist and do not make me embarrassed or complain.
