OBSESSION 2: BOYFRIEND A VAMPIRE

OBSESSION 2: BOYFRIEND A VAMPIRE
Chapter 20

In the middle of the city right now, because indeed today is the hour where everyone is really busy with their respective affairs. So that there is no time to think about things that are not at all important to think about.

Stamped on the nameplate, he is just a car design that is famous among automotive companies there. Don't ask how he could do all that? His dream was to make a car that was different from others.

The company also paid him a heavy fee for all his brilliant ideas. The man was popular in the company even though he wasn't particularly conspicuous among the others.

"I hope you don't forget this busy time." He looked up but did not answer the words of his friend. He is busy with his imaginary show now.

"No, what are you doing here?"

"Just want to see, what a good idea you've created. I'm sure your work will be back in the public spotlight, remember last month? You're a famous friend." The man just listened with a flat expression as if he was not interested in any of it.

"It doesn't matter, it's none of my business."

"Don't be so indifferent like that. You won't be able to get a life partner if you continue like this."

"I don't need a life partner, without a partner I can still live."

"Right, too, but that's not what I meant. Jarrel Calvianbert." Again he ignored his friend, too much of it should not be this close. But the reality is the closer it gets.

Not because they are homosexual, they both have been friends since they were in college in the first semester. It just so happens that they are one and the same majors make them close, not the two of them. Only Vion approached Jarrel.

Seeing the man was alone and aloof, made him wonder. She's that kind of alone like that? Vion alone could not if he had to stay in the room alone like this, but look Jarrel is able. Is he human or what?

"Well I'll go, have fun!" The door closed when he started to leave. While Jarrel who was still there just stared without interest, and basically did not care about the surrounding he preferred to continue his previous activities.

...•••...

"I'm home, Hazel?" Travis had just come home from the hospital, it just so happened that there were a lot of tasks that he had to do plus he held a big company alone making his duties more and more.

His return was indeed quite late, unlike what he had said earlier this morning if he was going home soon. But at exactly 2 pm he just returned home, he was quite panicked when he entered his own house because it was too quiet.

"Hazels?" Travis walked quickly up the stairs, trying not to panic but still panicking.

To the point where Travis opened Hazel's bedroom door, the girl was there. He played alone on the floor, but it was 2 pm but he did not sleep. Travis looked at the girl's back, until Hazel realized that someone else was making her look back.

Having Travis stand in the doorway made him stand up and run towards Travis, hugging the man who was only chest-high.

Travis who got a sudden hug was initially silent, but he immediately returned the hug and held the girl. He looked towards the balcony door which was indeed made of glass, he found a familiar shadow.

Right in his ear he heard someone's voice, Travis knew who it was so he just kept quiet and hugged Hazel. Not letting Hazel look back before the shadow disappeared was like a breeze.

"For a long time, Hazel waited since morning."

It's true what he said, it's been 2 pm but Hazel didn't go to bed and instead played. Just imagine if Travis hadn't come home and gone home tomorrow morning, maybe Hazel wouldn't have slept until the next morning either.

The girl was at home to open her eyes and sleep fairly quickly, not too normal for a child her age who had fewer hours of sleep and more hours in which she did her own activities.

"Sorry, I don't know what time it is..." Travis understands, maybe Hazel still doesn't understand the clock. But he should know which night and which day.

"See out there? Light or dark?"

"Dark..."

"That means it's night, let's go to bed fast because tomorrow you have to go to school too." Hazel was silent when Travis took her to lie on the bed.

...•••...

Jarrel's in his vehicle right now, he's going home. His work was not fully completed, but he only wanted to rest for a moment before continuing all that until it was finished completely.

Staring ahead with his flat gaze, he rarely even smiled. Employees were even more afraid of him than the other higher-ups who were much more powerful of course, but they were actually afraid of Jarrel.

Maybe because the aura that Jarrel gives off sometimes is like intimidating everyone who faces him directly.

But actually all that is just a cover, actually Jarrel is not like that. He just felt lonely, for years he only lived alone in a luxurious house. Without parents, he was just a child living a single life.

Because of his loneliness he used to be a victim of bullying at his school, but now it is no longer. Because that great power was already within his grasp, having the intention of taking down those who once made him suffer slowly. Not a bad idea, after all Jarrel won't have time to do all that.

Just ahead he looked up at the sky, where there were now so many stars in the middle of the night like this. Jarrel loved the night sky because he felt it was more calming. His car stopped in one place, more precisely on the side of the big road bridge. He got down from his vehicle, looking out at the vast ocean.

Jarrel was afraid of the ocean for some reason, but he was also curious about it. But on the other hand his fear was more domineering. Right he was thinking about a lot of things, suddenly one firefly made him take his eyes off.

Seeing the glowing insect right in front of him, Jarrel smiled and tried to touch the firefly. The insect stopped in Jarrel's fingers, which made him very happy.

"Hey, are you alone here? Your place is not here, you should be in the forest. Are you lost here?"

Jarrel invites the insect to talk as if there will be an answer, even though he knows for himself what he is doing is madness. But when he was busy seeing how beautiful the flying creature that lay in his fingers, suddenly a voice made him even more silent.

Not many vehicles pass because it is too late for someone to go for a walk. There can be no one else, because far away the eyes see only the sea, the sky and the streets. Jarrel tried to stay still, maybe just misheard him. But he seemed to be mistaken for his own opinion because the voice he could really hear clearly.

"Prince Jarrel."

"Don't it be crazy nights like this, where's someone else at this hour?" Jarrel decided to go home soon, not that he was afraid of the mysterious voice. He thought the sound was just a hallucination because he was too tired to work for a day.
