"It seems you're pretty busy huh." The girl looked back, where someone was standing there. Smiling at him of course, the man seemed to have noticed since then but was not responded to.
"What do you think you're doing here?"
"I thought you were gonna say, how are you?" The girl just shook her head, she indeed always came and snarled.
But there is no problem between the two, they have been friends for a long time or rather since childhood. No one knew about it, even their every identity was equally hidden from each other. Each of them only knew, if they were just ordinary humans.
Believe it or not, that's how it is. Although in the present era, or rather the era of the dynasty like this as a mythical creature forgotten because it never appeared. But they're all around humans, just not exactly the way they show things.
"You want to eat? I happen to be cooking." The man approached, seeing what the girl was cooking today.
It was not often she visited what else to eat together, but it was not the first time the two of them had eaten together. The girl paid no heed to the man's words, she was just busy preparing food and then preparing it on the pedestal there.
The atmosphere today is suitable for relaxing, it is more enjoyable if you rest now. But maybe the situation is not possible at all.
"Nicho! What are you doing stupid?" The girl drew Nicholas roughly, the man was indeed strange long ago and where could he turn like this.
"I'm just looking at your weapon, is that a problem?"
"Yes, that's a problem for you. Want to eat or I'll flush this soup in your face?" Nicholas laughed at the girl's words to him, but that was how they communicated.
Both of them seemed to eat quietly, enjoying the atmosphere today which was quite calm. But Nicholas really couldn't focus on his lunch because he felt there was something. A great strength, he indeed often felt that power when he was around the girl.
But he could not ask anything, for after all Nicholas was unsure of his own thinking. Is his thinking right? He did not know for sure, he glanced towards the girl who was busy eating voraciously.
"Zellen's..." He turned to look at Nicholas, he raised his eyebrows next to him. Feeling confused by the expression he was showing now. He felt something was wrong.
"You're not hiding anything from me, are you?" Instantly Zellen fell silent, but that didn't mean she couldn't answer.
To be honest he wanted to say everything, but he did not want Nicholas to stay away from him because of his ability. Indeed, Zellen was a descendant of a high king out there but not for her now, she was not in her own territory.
The girl wanders around looking for something, not something strange don't get too misunderstood. Zellen was looking for something that she could use to fight alone, a weapon that was suitable for her even though she already had her flagship sword.
Zellen laughed softly, she acted as if she had done nothing. Zellen is hiding a secret from Nicholas.
"Whatchu mean? How long have you known me until you asked me that question?" Nicholas was speechless now, but he was still staring at Zellen.
Zellen once saved Nicholas, the girl found him in a burning hut and the girl helped him. It's strange to think about it again, but maybe Nicholas didn't think until there because the most important thing between him and Zellen was getting out of that hut together, even though there were some injuries left behind.
Nicholas looked towards Zellen's left arm, the burn was there. Although it has been a long time, but the former is still there even now.
"I'm sorry, I just-"
"I see, you suspect me? Naturally, I do like disappearing to and fro." Zellen had guessed the truth, although she still did not want to say anything.
The girl had guessed that someday sooner or later, Nicholas would know all his secrets including his strength. That power that he did not get instantly, but rather practiced and wandered everywhere. He only wanted to save his kingdom, now his brother became king to replace his father who was already dying.
Guess what Zellen did, she's looking for an antidote to the king's cure, call it her father. But Nicholas doesn't know he's not from his royal domain, Zellen finds Nicholas on the border of a dense forest close to the valley.
That land, not the territory of his kingdom. Therefore Zellen suspects that Nicholas is just a person who usually survives, not part of any work. Zellen believed in Nicholas.
"Are you going after this?" Nicholas smiled, he gave the shells to Zellen.
"Maybe yes, I won't be back for a few days. But I'll try to come when you need my help, blow this shell and I'll come." Nicholas stepped back into the forest, he was really going to leave Zellen alone.
"Nicho..."
"See you, thanks for the food." Nicholas rushed into the forest. Leaving a faint voice and then disappearing just like that.
Zellen was still standing there, staring at the departure of Nicholas who left her. The girl looked down, staring at the shell Nicholas gave her.
"I'm sorry..." The girl turned her body and then walked into the house.
Looking towards the direction his sword was located, he simply stared with regret. Zellen doesn't know what to explain but, she doesn't want to lose Nicholas. He suspects that the man will stay away from him after the identity is revealed later, but he accepts the present situation.
No, he didn't expect any of this to happen. However, it seemed like he had to face alone. But how? The girl held her sword, took him out. The girl also brought a piece of cloth containing her clothes and also a spare meal.
The girl covered her nose up to her lips with a cloth, wearing a hat and she stepped out of the house. The house was not his, he only found the hut and made the place a temporary residence.
Stepping closer towards the campfire, his hand pointed towards it and the instant the water shot out from his palm. Scorching the fire for a short time, walked towards his horse. Ride the animal, and then just leave from there.
"I'm sorry, I know I'm wrong here. But I had to, I don't want to lose a friend..."
