Hazel was watching the maid make milk for her, she just sat down and looked at the maid. Until she knew there was someone behind her, she sat down next to Hazel.
"It looks like milk is more interesting." Hazel turned to the side and was shocked by Travis' sudden presence there.
The man sits in the chair right next to him, but why can't Hazel realize? The man only saw how the face put on a look of confusion, maybe he was indeed confused.
Because Travis was out of the house to go somewhere, Hazel thought it would be a long time but it was only a little while. The man took the glass of milk, making Hazel even more confused now.
"That's mine..." Travis drank the drink without saying anything, while Hazel stared with an eager gaze.
Why did he drink that milk? Hazel asked the maid, and the milk was almost gone, but Travis stopped drinking. He glanced at Hazel who kept looking at him with such a strange look.
"Why?"
"That's mine." Travis laughed softly when he saw how Hazel was looking now, he had the maid make some more milk and Hazel sit next to him now.
It seems like today will be a long day, it has been almost 2 months Hazel lived in her house now. He has been able to adapt even though not all he dared to do, some days also David came to teach Hazel many things and also David told her about something.
The development is now quite rapid, even now Hazel can read. Most importantly, the rest can be done if there is time.
"Later when David comes, you can't be naughty." Hazel nodded according, she drank her own milk. He felt his head rubbed gently by Travis.
He just glanced at her without any response at all, it seemed like Hazel was still upset with Travis' milk problem earlier. Travis took a deep breath, he got out of his seat and he's leaving for work now. There was a sudden call that made him have to leave right now.
Hazel glanced at Travis who was about to leave the house, the girl placed her glass on the table. He got off the chair and ran towards Travis walking now. Her steps that couldn't be the same as Travis, she couldn't catch up to where she ran and caught the man's hand.
He looked back, saw his hand held by the tiny hand made him smile then looked back and looked down. Find Hazel there.
"What's wrong?"
"You want to go? Was long?" Travis squatted in front of Hazel, rubbing her long hair.
"I don't know, I'm sorry. Maybe I'll be home a little night-"
"Can I come?" Did Hazel think about what she said just now? Travis doesn't really matter if he has to bring Hazel.
But his position now is, where he can't be sure what's out there is safe for the little girl. She cannot leave Hazel alone, even when she is in danger. Though Travis is around, is it still unclear whether Travis is worried now?
He just didn't want the girl to get hurt, hurt just a little maybe he would curse himself who was so careless and stupid.
"No way, you'll be safe in this house. And anyway, there'll be David with you until I get home." Travis convinced Hazel all he could.
It seems like he has no teaching hours at his school now, he seems to be wearing casual clothes and not as usual. He came with something, some bags of food for Hazel. It seems that David has also begun to accept Hazel's existence in his life now.
"You've come, I thought you'd be late for teaching your class." David shook his head, he had no classes today for him to fill with his lessons.
"I don't teach today, not my schedule." David looked towards Hazel who was in his sister's arms smiling, he had never seen Travis so pamper someone to this extent.
The man gives a shopping bag full of snacks and some milk boxes in there, Travis drops Hazel down and she carries her bag.
"Hazel, listen to what he has to say. I told you that"
"Don't be naughty, yeah I'll be a good boy." Travis and David both laughed as they listened to the innocent words of the little girl.
Unexpected encounters, even personalities that are counter-compared to the real ones happen. But he was grateful to be reunited with his first love, after a long wait.
"I'll go, take good care of him." David nods to his sister's words, he sees Travis who starts getting in the car and leaves immediately.
While Hazel does not seem to like Travis' stay, she keeps staring at the open gate and sees the car the man is driving in until he is no longer seen.
"Let's go inside, the afternoon air's not good for a child."
"I'm not a kid, I'm a big boy."
"Woh, really? But why are you still drinking milk?" David is looking for a topic to argue with Hazel.
The little girl continued to answer what she was saying now, even she also often told me nothing about what. David was curious, the attack that happened some time ago. To be honest, he began to worry, but even so. The care in the house is also getting tighter, without Hazel realizing herself the girl is confined in the house but with a different atmosphere.
David won't be able to confirm what happened even though he can see the future, but now he can't be sure of anything. Her inner eyes seemed closed when she was with Hazel, was that an oddity?
Little story goes that when David and Hazel were in the garden behind the house, there was a very large swimming pool. David thinks nothing will happen, watching Hazel play water. He didn't feel anything strange.
To the point where he begins to panic when he accidentally sees Hazel's eyeballs turning blue, is odd enough but he tries to be sure. The blue eyes were gone, and instantly the water that had originally lived suddenly died on its own.
Absolutely an incident that he could not have guessed at all, he had also reported everything he felt when he was with Hazel to Travis. To make the man even more careful about the suit.
And now, the girl was busy eating while writing the errand that David gave her yesterday. David only hoped that if what he felt never happened, he only hoped.
'I thought it would not hurt if his memory returned, but what about my sister? I don't want him killed, by the girl he loves himself.'
