NOT AN ORDINARY SON-IN-LAW

NOT AN ORDINARY SON-IN-LAW
CHAPTER 2. SELF-ESTEEM IS GONE

"She is ... your boyfriend," Maghala guessed as she chuckled. Stupid statement, he thought.

Asha remained silent. But Maghala is not broken charcoal, Ashadiya is the only entertainment for him. Teasing the wife who never responds is a challenge in itself.

After breakfast, Maghala pushed Asha's wheelchair towards the side porch for sunbathing while she cleaned up the old cutlery this morning.

Because the arrival of Maghala in this house, made Alka dismiss some ART and impose their duties on him. Some of the remaining maids often feel sorry to see the son-in-law treated like garbage.

"Den, breakfast first. Do not get sick, because the weak condition will not change the habits of the mistress," said one of the maghala when doing all the tasks in the kitchen.

"No problem Mom, santuy. I am used to doing housework. Understandably, the merchant," kekeh Maghala, comforting himself though tired of the body soul.

After coming from the kitchen, he went to Adhisty's room, then Alka's room to change the sheets, blankets, curtains also rolled up the room carpet and took it to the laundry room.

As she passed through the living room, Maghala put down a dirty basket and pulled her wheelchair from the side porch, pushing her into the living room to watch television to keep her from getting bored.

"I'm doing something else, if you need me, just shake the bells like always, okay?" ghala said before leaving Asha alone.

By Zuhur all work was done. His phone is now ringing, displaying a name there.

"Assalamualaikum, yes, Brother," Maghala said as she answered Alka's call.

"Ghala, bring me the map of the report left on the desk of the study. Map of brown, quick," Alka's word at the end.

"Alright, I'll see first," Maghala replied heading to her sister-in-law's study.

"Hello, isn't there? Ghala!" yelled Alka, impatient.

"No brother, on the clean table. I opened an empty drawer" Maghala said, turning the call into a video call.

"That's a big block! if it is not there then look for it in the cake room, dining table, family room or mama's room. Napa's hunting!" sentak Alka again.

The daughter-in-law of the Cyra family was driven to Alka's room on the second floor, checked the details there, then turned to her in-laws' room.

"Ghala, hurry! kuya!" yelled Alka huffed.

Maghala did not care about the meaning of Alka, he remained calm looking for the object in question. "This isn't Brother?" the question was when he found the file he was looking for was on Adhisty's dresser.

"Well, yeah. Bring it here in ten minutes. I don't want to know!" snapped Alka while closing the unilateral call.

Tut's. Tut's. Tut's.

"Astaghfirullah's. Golly, geez. Fortunately not in high blood huh, mulu emotions." Maghala laughed.

"Kayak has a Doraemon door, a moment arrives. Jakarta was jammed masbro, not kayaking in Saranjana," muttered Maghala rushing down the stairs and preparing to deliver the file to Cyra's office.

"Asha, I'll take this to Kak Alka first, yes. Return to monthly shopping. I won't be long" Maghala said as she passed the maids' Asha.

As usual, the beautiful woman only took a quick glance then indifferently returned.

The handsome man simply changed his shirt and grabbed the jacket. The roar of the motor indicates that Maghala has left the luxurious residence of the Cyra family.

...***...

As expected, he was stuck in traffic. It's not Maghala if it doesn't have a solution at a crucial moment.

"Thankfully this motorcycle can be brought, try if using a car. I can get stuck when I get to the office" Ghala murmured while sneaking onto the shoulders of a fairly loose street.

Twenty minutes from Maghala's office to Alka's office. However, he was late. His brother had already started the meeting. Maghala was escorted by Alka's secretary to the meeting room.

Geck. Geck.

"Sorry, Sir. The file arrived," said the secretary.

"Get in" said Alka paused the course of the presentation by one of the managers.

Maghala entered the room. Handing the file directly to the leader.

"Last long! you're a real man, right? why did her slow down beat my almost seventy-year-old grandmother, "alka sneered, grinning, aimed at her sister-in-law.

"Hurry up really, I haven't checked, this is true or not" said Alka again, while opening the map.

Maghala paused, then stood over to the side of the infocus screen.

"Dea, the next time he comes here, you just open access to my office. He's babu, I used to tell him, really," Alka said again to her secretary.

A few pairs of eyes stared pushyly at the handsome figure ahead there. Dea even smiled wryly, feeling ashamed for his lead's behavior.

Maghala smiled, then looked down. There was no day without the ridicule and insults he had received from this family.

"Maybe my decision is right, to marry Asha despite being initially forced to. Poor Asha, will be more depressed if their attitude is like this." Inner Maghala.

"Eh, Babu. Good looks, slow work. Next time don't be late. Sana went home," said Alka again, shaking her hand to drive Maghala out of the room.

...***...

Cyra Duchy.

Cyra's son-in-law arrived just before the asar with a lot of groceries. He put all his luggage on the pantry table, some on the floor.

Maghala threw herself down in front of the refrigerator, opened one of her doors and grabbed cold water to quench her thirst.

"Alhamdulillah. Tired of Robb, but how else, I still feel the opportunity," muttered Maghala hurried to clean up everything and was going to go to the room to clean up.

After he was tidy, wanting to relax for a moment to accompany Asha while massaging her feet, the cry of Alka who had just returned home from work, sounded again.

"Ghalaloo!!!!!"

"Yes, Brother. I'm here" Maghala said as she pushed her wheelchair out of the room.

"She, wash the car. I'll go to the party tonight. Don't forget to bathe Moly, he wants me to take him with me to be treated with the same kind. Hurry along!" alka's decree threw the key and pointed at Moly inside the cage.

"Oh yes, one more. Starting tonight, if I still see you on the side of the road with that stupid wagon. I'll break your leg. Understand!" threatening Alka pointed sharply at her sister-in-law's face.

Maghala took a long breath. Trivial business that can be done car washing services on the streets and pet shops, must be the hands of him who works. The path of effort to give Asha a living, is now running aground as well.

"Prophey, Asha, your massage is delayed," Maghala chuckles, leaving Asha in the living room. After making sure his wife was comfortable, he headed to the garage with Alka's pet cat cage.

Exactly the Maghrib, the impromptu task of round tofu, is completed. His final work will be ahead after prayers later, making dinner menu.

The roar of Alka's car drifted away, changing with Adhisty's newly arrived home. He checked all the work of his son-in-law.

"Ghalaaa, prepare dinner," exclaimed the in-law, knocking on the door and then walking up the stairs.

"Already, Ma. Please," Ghala replied in the doorway of the room, pointing towards the dining room.

The obedient man was about to slap the prayer mat, when Adhisty's shrill voice came back.

Brak! the door to the room was open forcibly Adhisty.

"Ghalas! sure enough, the menu as soon as you present it to me?" his jolt was angry, until Adhisty's narrowed eyes fumbled. "Make steaks, mashed potatoes and salads. Everything has to be ready after I've finished my bath" he added, after pointing sharply at the dinner table and then he waltzed away.

Maghala looked up, releasing a breath of air as he was about to continue his worship. He looked towards Asha who was just silent.

"Salat first yuk. After this, we eat. Asha, I will look for other alternatives to meet your needs" Ghala gently rubbed Asha's head wearing a mukena.

Time is rolling fast, all Maghala's work has been completed. Approaching midnight, the atmosphere of Cyra's residence felt very quiet. However, a man still seemed busy playing his cell phone sitting on the sofa room as if looking for something there.

"Well, I can." Highlight the sparkling eyes of Maghala.
