Night Police

Night Police
Chapter 20 The Truth Revealed

I do not believe in the mystical, there must be a detailed thing that has been missed.

I found all the photos of Mina's body.

Most of them are photographs of Mina's corpse, and there are several photographs of objects, including wine bottles, rotten furniture, as well as some valuables, such as rings and watches.

I asked Bara and she insisted on clearly remembering the place where Mina was buried and there was no way she could touch Mina again.

I showed Bara these photos one by one, and she shook her head while saying, "I don't remember anymore."

I also asked back to Nina, and she insisted on recalling the location properly.

I showed you those pictures.

Nina looked at me suspiciously, but I said don't look at me but look at the pictures.

Nina lowered her head and looked at the photos seriously.

I threw a cigarette at Nando and lit it while observing Nina.

She looked down and seriously looked at her picture so I could not see her facial expression.

Finally, his eyes stopped on one photo.

“Officers, where did this watch come from?” Nina lifted her head and asked me.

I walked up to him and saw a photo of a watch that had lost its hand.

"Rolex's long-buried watch, so that it looks dirty inside the picture."

But Nina interrupted me and asked, "Is the watch still there?"

I said yes, and took out a watch wrapped in white plastic.

Nani picked it up and rubbed gently with her hands.

“You know about that clock?” my many.

Nina ignored me and instead shouted hysterically: "Herman, I'll kill you!"

Although the watch in the photo had been buried in the river mud for many years, Nina still recognized it.

The watch was bought by his brother-in-law, and later gave it to Herman.

Nina kept shouting hysterically and kept saying she wanted to see Herman.

I want to see Herman too and need an explanation.

Two days later, Herman was also taken to the interrogation room.

The shrewd Herman kept shouting in the interrogation room: "We are in a different province, you have no right to arrest me, I will sue you!"

I saw him act, the more he acted the more helpless he was.

After he finished acting, I knocked on the table: "Herman, I will ask you three questions. If I'm satisfied with your answer then I'll let you go."

Hearing that he was about to be released, Herman stopped shouting and looked at me.

I asked her, "First question, did you know that Mina is not your biological daughter?"

Herman said without thinking, he knew it because Nina's pregnancy time was not right, if she wasn't stupid then no man would know.

I nodded and asked: "The second question, if you already knew he wasn't your son but why in 2007 did you still want to go check your DNA on that boy?"

Herman was stunned and did not reply as there was something in his heart that could not be revealed.

I nodded again and said, “That means it's true that you don't answer. Third question, is this yours?” Then I put the “Rolex” watch in front of Herman.

Herman glanced at his watch and said he didn't know.

“This is a very expensive Rolex, you forgot to take a picture wearing this watch?” I took a picture of Herman when he was young.

In the photo, Herman is in his twenties, standing on the bridge with his hands on his chest that deliberately show a "Rolex" watch in his hands.

Herman looked a little agitated, he gulped and said, "I lost that watch."

"Where did you lose it?" My toot.

Herman answered quickly and said he had forgotten.

Herman's mouth was wide open, and a strange sound came out from his throat.

On October 4, 1995, Mina did not die, but came out of the hole and walked home crying. Not far away Mina found Herman who came looking for her.

At first Hermann seemed angry at seeing Mina's blood-soaked head, but on the way home from not seeing anyone around her, a bad thought came to his mind.

Herman felt very sad because he wanted a child to continue his descent.

She had long known that Mina was not her child, and because Mina's presence made Nina not want a child with her.

Herman the more he thought about it the more ambitious he was, he suddenly stopped and looked at Mina who was illuminated by the moon.

He was also a little chaotic back then, because after all he had already raised the child these few years, but at that moment in his heart there was the voice of the boy calling him father.

Herman is heartbroken and takes Mina to an abandoned house by the river.

Herman did not dare to do so and simply locked it in the house.

For two days in a row he pretended to look for Mina and at night went to the river to give it to Mina.

Afraid that Mina was crying so Herman gave her the watch but when Herman wanted to ask her back, Mina said she was gone.

For two days Herman hesitated to kill Mina or not.

Herman desperately wanted a son but also could not kill Mina..

On the third day, Nina decides to call the police who changed Herman's mind.

Herman was shocked and frightened because if the police found out that Mina was cut down by him by two days, he would not only not get a son but also lose his wife.

The thought made Herman make the scene as if blaming the three boys.

Herman took Mina where Doni dug the hole.

Because the monitoring pole had moved 45 meters to the east so he had to dig a new hole.

In the middle of the night on October 8, 1995, Herman killed Mina and buried her in the pit.

After Herman finished it his hands trembled but there was a sense of pleasure in his heart.

She feels that her plan is perfect, and Mina has no reason to refuse to have a son with her again.

But she vastly underestimates the power of mother love, Herman does not expect that even if Nina sells her house, Nina will still be looking for Mina.

In the end, Herman had no other choice but to end his relationship with Nina.

Herman did not even expect Nina's madness in avenging her revenge, committing a serial murder of three dead people and actually her calculations failed miserably.

"This is truly God's action. Mina's troubles have passed 19 years, 6 months and 24 days almost 20 years long but her case can still be re-excavated."

This is the last thing Herman told me in the detention center.

On September 10, 2015, the Jakarta Intermediate Court filed a case against the "River Murder Case musi 1995.10.4", "Mountain Murder Case 2007.12.21", "Serious injury accident case 2015.2.10", "Burning Case 2015.3.31" and "Case of Intentional Murder 2015.4.22".

Defendant Nina was found guilty of transporting, selling drugs, intentionally causing death and murder, she was sentenced to death for several crimes at once.

Defendant Edan was convicted of house burning, transporting and selling drugs, intentional homicide, and intentional injury to cause death. He was sentenced to death for several crimes at once.

Defendant Geri was found guilty of intentional homicide, intentional injury leading to death, intentional injury causing serious injury, and drug trafficking. Because the defendant was involved in the case and died, he cannot be charged.

Defendant Herman was sentenced to death for intentional homicide with a two-year reprieve.

Like I said at the beginning, a lot of evil is born out of dangerous thinking, which I call the "moment of darkness".

The thought came when a few months ago I heard a story from Agus.

Agus said many prisoners repent after being arrested, because regret does not come at the beginning and it would be better to be patient longer in doing an action.

In fact, they didn't really understand their evil thoughts at the time, they seemed impulsive, but in fact they were persistent for a long time.

If you fall into darkness, you'll think there's "perfect evil" in the world.

Well, the friends who have arrived here means that they have read until they are finished, yes, I will not say much anymore.

There are still many stories of "Police of the night" that Agus told us.
