Night Police

Night Police
Prologues

Let me introduce a friend named Agus, a great police officer who loves to tell stories. He was once the captain of the city bureau's criminal police, he had been in the city bureau's special patrol department and police station, and he had always been on the front line. The story of Agus is often associated with social background and changing times. The murder case that occurred today may have been caused by another murder case 20 years ago, and the tragedy of 20 years ago stems from social prejudice at that time. Even more tragically, behind the seemingly close family relationship there is a relationship of mutual benefit. Some even force themselves to be tools. Henrik Ibsen wrote: What you sow in youth, you reap in old age. I think this sentence is right to be described in Agus' story this time. Crime is summarized into two categories, "dangerous personality" and "dangerous knot of heart".

"Dangerous personality" is very easily explained, namely innate criminal personality or problems with childhood psychological development, crimes such as serial killers.

There are also "knots of the heart", there are three special types:

The first is knot sense, the reason for this type of crime is often hard to believe.

For example, your classmates are always insulting you, and you have been preparing for a long time to beat them all to death with hammers while they are all in the dorm.

Another example, if you hit someone with your car, thinking about the number of opportunists and corrupt people now, there will be a lot of pressure on the cost of continued treatment. If you directly beat that person to death, the money you lost would be within an acceptable range.

This type of crime is often accompanied by irrational thinking, which leads to a dead end.

The second is the knowledge node. This kind of crime is often associated with cognition such as the problem of rising prices, sesame cakes downstairs in your home has changed from two thousand to four thousand, and you have to argue with him..

You think he's wrong, to prove your rationality, the more you fight, the more fierce, and you end up killing him.

The third type is complex. These crimes all stem from the pain of everyday life. For example, your parents do not love you, in-laws say you cannot marry their daughters, relatives and friends hate you, and no one communicates with you.

You will become more and more withdrawn and want to take revenge on society.

So you rush to the street and pick up a knife and slash people around, this is the most terrible, the hardest to prevent, but also the most we have to be aware of.

But no matter "sense knot", "knowledge knot" or "complex", it often comes from a dangerous idea.

These fleeting thoughts often have social factors behind them.

If we can confront and try to understand the social factors behind criminal behavior, we might be able to be more rational in "dark moments" when dangerous thoughts arise.

That's why I want to show you the story of Agus.
