The days passed so quickly, it was long enough that Sarah worked in the SLC media office. Sarah also knows many employees and OB in the office. Because besides being beautiful, Sarah is also good at putting herself and treating them well.
While Rudi as the head of the company, he only knew a few people, it was only the division leaders in his office. For him the division leaders were enough to oversee the performance of lower-level employees and address all existing problems, except problems that will affect the pace of the company.
That day Rudi was preoccupied with a stack of documents that he had to check and sign. Half a pile of documents had already been completed, he paused for a moment as he felt his body a little sore and stiff. His body was moved to recover the aching and stiff feeling, then leaned back in his chair.
His mind drifted everywhere. Then he picked up his phone and saw some incoming notifications and replied to some messages. He suddenly remembered the little shoes.
"How are you, little shoes? Are you with your owner?" muttered.
His mind was re-energized, thinking back to the times when he saw those little shoes and the petite owner he could not see clearly his face.
"It looks like I have to see Arini. There are a few things I should talk to him about" he murmured again.
He picks up his phone and writes a message to Arini, and Arini replies to the message.
"Well, I'll find time, because lately there are some parents who leave their children until night."
Rudi then replied to the message.
"good. We can meet on weekends when you're off and there's no child left."
After their previous two meetings Rudi felt a little comfortable to see Arini again, because it turned out that Arini was uncomfortable with their matchmaking. They also make a plan to express their true feelings to Rudi's parents. It's just that because of the busyness of Rudi's father and his mother had to accompany his father abroad, their plan must be delayed. Rudi's parents believe that Rudi and Arini's relationship is fine, because Rudi never complained or refused the match.
That day off, Rudi immediately prepares to meet Arini somewhere promised. Rudi has booked a place in a cafe that is quite comfortable in the suburbs but not so far from Arini's house.
Rudi was already in the cafe and waiting for Arini's arrival. To fill the time he ordered his favorite hot tea.
Arini came soon. Rudi waved his hand signaling to Arini that she was there. Arini approached Rudi.
"Long time? Sorry, but late. I have to wait for my mother to come home from the market" explained Arini.
"It's okay. Not long ago, you're not too late either." Rudi pointed to the wall clock in the cafe that showed 9 o'clock exactly.
"Where's your job? Lots of kids, huh?" ask Rudi for a pleasantry.
"Not much, there are only 6 people. But God's insha will add a few more children."
"Lumayan also faced 6 children, one sometimes troublesome."
"Not really, I've been assisted by two assistants anyway."
"The nearest citizen's child?" ask Rudi a little interested.
"Yes, some. There are also far away. And one of her children is a close friend of mine" explained Arini.
"What do you mean your future husband's son?"
Arini laughed at Rudi's question.
"No, my friend is a girl. She was a single parent, sometimes had to leave her child until the night, not even infrequently the child was staying at my house," explained Arini.
"That's a hassle, huh?"
"Not really. The child is kind and not too troublesome, already like a grandson to my mother."
Arini did not answer Rudi's words. He just smiled.
"How's your candidate doing? Any word on his move here?" Rudi started their conversation again.
"Yet. It's getting more unclear. But I'll still be patient waiting for him."
"Still in that company, right?"
Arini nodded.
"Let me see, hopefully I can help you."
"Thank you!" answer Arini. Then they both fell silent.
A servant came to take their order.
"What do you want to say? Is there anything important?" tanya Arini broke the silent atmosphere between them.
"No. I just need a friend to talk to. Lately I feel like I need a friend to talk to. You don't mind, do you?"
"No" answered Arini briefly.
"Now I'm confused about my own feelings. I seem to like people I find hard to reach."
"How do you mean?" ask Arini not understand.
"I like someone because of their shoes" explained Rudi.
Arini doesn't understand.
"Shoes? Can you explain it again?" tanya Arini began to wonder. He begins to get suspicious of Rudi.
"How can a human being relate to shoes. Is it because it takes so long to be single that it makes him experience sexual deviation?" thought Arini.
Because he saw Arini's face of money seemed confused, Rudi finally explained everything to Arini. Arini smiled faintly after hearing Rudi's slightly absurd story.
"Oh Allah, I had a terrible thought for him. Forgive me, O God," Arini said.
It felt like Arini wanted to laugh out loud, but she tried to hold it in. She was afraid that Rudi would be offended. He tried not to laugh and made his face look serious.
"What's the next plan then?" ask Arini.
"I don't know. But this feeling tormented me so much. The more I try to forget, the more I remember the woman and the shoes!" clearly Rudi.
"Have you tried to find out who that woman is?" ask Arini again.
"It has. But since that first week I haven't seen those shoes and that woman again."
"It shouldn't be hard to know, because he's in the same building, and probably in the same office."
"That's what makes me even more confused and curious. You know, I like browsing and watching girls' shoes in my office."
Arini chokes at Rudi's explanation, Rudi quickly thrusts a glass at him, and Arini immediately drinks it. After drinking, Arini could not help but laugh and made Rudi feel ashamed.
