Chapter 38. Staking out

"What a man. May the grave of my brothers be not dismantled as such by an irresponsible man."

Aldi closed his mouth and immediately came out of the hut when he saw the man came with a machete and went back into the hut in the middle of the field with a machete in his hand. Aldi looks scared. But his fear was also mixed with curiosity so that his body seemed to refuse to run away from that place.

Aldi was hiding behind the room. However, when he saw the man's hand outstretched upwards and turned the bulb over him immediately Aldi dodged fear of the light emitted by the lamp making a shadow of him.

Aldi walked by creeping on the ground like a lizard so as not to be seen because if it is found his life will be threatened with danger. Seeing a machete in the hands of the man earlier he had grimaced especially if to imagine his neck or head being slashed. Aldi could not imagine all that.

Now Aldi can only watch from the front of the hut, where the distance is a bit far so that it is not so clearly visible. The man was seen several times hitting the fetus that is now on a bed made of bamboo stems, several times seen chopping as well as people who chopped beef or goat.

"What a strange man is he a cannibal?" muttered Aldi to himself. His eyes could not help but look at the hut without blinking as if Aldi did not want to miss anything done by the strange man.

Moments later it was seen the man pulling a medium-sized tub from under the bamboo bed. Not so long ago the man put something in the tub. Although I can't see clearly. However, Aldi understood that something that was included was the flesh of the fetus that had been chopped earlier.

After finishing his work the man came out by holding the tub on his waist and took it out of the hut. The man placed the tub on the ground for a while and locked the door before finally leaving the place.

After the man took a step further, Aldi just came out of hiding and immediately ran after. The curiosity is still very high to know what the man will do next. It seems she doesn't remember the lost Tata anymore because investigating this person seems more interesting than looking for her best friend, Tata.

Basic Aldi.

Far away, Aldi finally saw the man enter a building that modeled like a warehouse.

"What's the warehouse house anyway?" Aldi scratched his head in confusion. However, Aldi thinks that this building is indeed the home of the man means that the man will never come out again.

Aldi is waiting for what will happen next from inside the building.

"Ah, I can't just stand out here. Could die wondering if I don't know what that guy's gonna do inside." Aldi seemed to be scratching his forehead, he thought hard in order to know what the man was doing without the person having to know.

Suddenly seen in Aldi's eyes a ladder also made of bamboo lying next to the building. An idea popped up in his brain when he saw that there was a little vent there.

Aldi walks with a sneak, as much as possible do not let the sound of the footsteps heard even by ants though.

Slowly Aldi grabbed the ladder and shifted it to be near the ventilation of the building. After making sure the ladder did not move immediately Aldi went up. Climbing one by one the steps of the bamboo and immediately stretched out his head beside the slightly opened vent.

The man seemed to be agitated in the room. He was walking in an uncertain direction.

"What does the man really want to do?" It was so boring to wait so long up the stairs.

"Did he know where I was in this place? That's why he's buying time?" Aldi began to fidget fearfully his existence in that place was already known. He became a keeper himself.

"But no, didn't he ever look this way though?" Fighting with your own feelings is not easy. On the one hand Aldi just wanted to give up and immediately leave the place for fear of being discovered. On the other hand, curiosity never receded from him earlier.

Aldi is still in his place. Was there no sign of attacking him? Means his position is safe and his feeling was not proven at all, right?

The boredom he got rid of, he had to learn a lot of patience now if he wanted to get an answer from his curiosity. Isn't he not necessarily getting a second chance that maybe the villagers never know about this?

The man looked up and down here. Aldi immediately hid his head behind the wall so as not to be seen by the man.

It looks like the man took something off the shelf. Aldi widened his eyes to see what the man had taken. It turned out that the one held by the man was a large blender. Aldi did not know what the object was called, but from his guess it was a tool to smooth it so Aldi considered it a blender. The man put his blender on a table and washed the meat in the tub until the blood was gone.

Aldi gaped and instantly covered his own mouth. If the assumption is not wrong, the man will definitely blend the flesh of the fetus and Aldi's guess is indeed true. The man stuffed the meat in the tub he had brought earlier into the blender, after entering the water directly rotate the on button in the blender so that the room that was once quiet now sounds noisy by the sound of the blender machine.

Patience is finally bearing fruit Aldi knowing that the fine human flesh is put into a large drum made of plastic.

Aldi saw there were 10 plastic drums there and each drum was only given one hand of the meat blender. If Aldi's vision is not wrong in the plastic drum is already filled with liquid that Aldi himself does not know what liquid it is, only the color is visible brown in Aldi's eyes.

After he finished, the man put the remaining unused meat into a jar and he immediately closed all the plastic drums.

After everything was done, the man immediately washed the tub and blender he had been wearing while looking in various directions.

Believing the man's work was done Aldi immediately rushed down from the top of the stairs. In order not to be caught after reaching the bottom he immediately ran away from the place.
