A mystical aura, an unusual aura would radiate as one crossed the path towards the village of Kenanga.
Kenanga is a village where along the way overgrown with large shady trees. However, it also looks lonely and gripping.
Most of the people spend time on the beach. The men work as fishermen and the women choose their husband or father's fish by collecting in several containers according to their type. By the end of the afternoon, they were in their homes. However, their husbands have mostly gone to sea in the afternoon and only come when the morning even sometimes until noon.
Some women there are also shiny fish then dried in the midfielder [a place for fish drying made of bamboo stems].
Typhoon, Tata, Lisa, and Aldi are 4 students assigned to research life in Kenanga village. Both in terms of daily living habits, culture, outlook on life and anything in the community including their daily work.
"And why along the way I felt bad, I felt as if we were all in danger" Aldi told Typhoon.
"Don't think the miscellaneous Al, lest bad thoughts overwhelm us and eventually will actually happen" advises Typhoon.
"Remember that speech is prayer" Lisa said.
"Control our minds, that's what I often hear when someone advises others to enter this village" Typhoon added.
"We really enjoy this scene even though it looks lonely and a little creepy, but try to smell, the fragrant flowers of this keepsake makes us feel like the aroma of therapy," said Lisa again.
"What aromatherapy? There is even the smell of Tata protest graves. Simultaneously a strong wind swept over their bodies.
Wusssh.
Dry leaves scattering towards them to make Aldi's eyes glimmers because the leaves carry dust.
"Let's!" aldi shouted while closing his eyes.
"Why screaming anyway, it's so much Lo," said Typhoon while continuing to walk in front while Aldi sat crouching with both hands still in front of the face. Covering his suddenly deathly pale face. The man was so frightened that his body shook violently. Even sweat poured out of his body.
"Why are you Al?" Tata revealed Aldi's hand then grimaced, afraid to see Aldi's facial expression. Aldi's hands are wet with sweat like people with wet lungs.
"I'd better go back. I did not dare to enter this village," said Aldi.
"If you come back, I'll come along" Tata continued.
"Please if you want to come back, but no matter what happens I will still go in" said Typhoon so sure.
"Me too" Lisa continued. "The lecturer has promised to provide good value as long as we do this task well and most importantly the lecturer has promised to fight for scholarships for all of us."
"Fuck everything. I don't care about value anymore. Even though I was expelled from campus I did not care" Aldi said again. Aldi has a feeling of entering this village as if delivering lives.
"Whatever!" Typhoon pulled Lisa's hand to continue walking down the road to the village while Tata pulled Aldi's hand to return, out of the area.
"It doesn't matter if our grades are bad we can fix it by doing other tasks well." Tata entertains Aldi while entertaining himself.
Aldi nodded and got up from his seat. Then the two of them walked in the opposite direction to Lisa and Typhoon.
"Ah, they suck yet nothing has given up." There was the sound of a Typhoon accompanied by a long breath of Lisa. They continued walking until they reached the beach. Indeed, the road was directly penetrated towards the beach compared to the houses of the residents. However, make no mistake, there are some residents whose homes also stand by the beach although not many.
"How do you like it, right?" ask the Typhoon to Lisa who looks smiling to herself.
The girl simply nodded without distracting her from the blue sea before her.
"Their losses are back" said Typhoon who regretted the retreat of Tata and Aldi in this task. For him it is a difficult task. Can learn while refreshing. It's more fun than just struggling with dizzy materials.
While Lisa and Typhoon were joking and laughing together by the beach, Aldi and Tata seemed confused. Because for so long they have walked to get out of the village in fact they are still circling in the same place. The path they took was like a circle until they returned to zero.
"How is this Aldi why are we staying in this place?" Tata looks riled up and scared. They were like spinning in one place, along the way they did not find the existence of Lisa and Typhoon.
"I don't know Ta either. Let's not say we can't get out of this area." Instead of giving Aldi solutions even make Tata more afraid.
"We just keep walking while looking around there may be a road that leads in the other direction. If we take that path."
Tata nodded and continued his steps followed Aldi behind him.
Woof ... woof.
The sound of the sound of dogs from various directions made the two even more afraid. The two of them were now drenched in cold sweat.
Accelerate our pace, it looks like there's a way in the other direction." Aldi pointed towards the road that still looked new. Maybe the paved road was just finished.
They look a little relieved. Maybe from earlier they did not take that path so they just went around in circles.
"Wait for Al wasn't it when we passed by with Lisa and Typhoon we never crossed the new paved road?" Tata is a little confused by the circumstances.
"No need to think about it, in an emergency like this we have to take any steps. Want you here all day?"
"Not really Al. I want to go home. I miss mama, I'm tired." Tata started whining. He really can't stand being in this place alone with Aldi. Both are equally cowardly.
"We don't have time to complain. Whatever way we have to get out of this place," Aldi said.
"As if people help us. Why aren't there any vehicles crossing here?" Speak for yourself.
"There may be, instead of you already know for yourself the gatekeeper said to enter this village is not allowed to bring motorized vehicles in
because if we break it we will have bad luck. If not because that's where maybe our motorcycle will be stuck there," explained Aldi.
"Once again there are people who are caliph and the gatekeeper is also khilaf." Tata spoke at that.
Aldi just looked at Tata expressionlessly. He hoped the same in his heart, but he realized it was impossible.
"Look at that Al there's a vehicle heading this way!" Tata shouted in excitement seeing as if they would be able to escape from the path that they thought was a vicious circle.
Seriate....
