Chapter 53 Makes you smile

"I'm.."Mala hesitated to answer him, he had long not honed his wheezing skills.

"You want to try it?" Rose Arthur.

"Can I?" When he asked back, he was worried that Arthur was just mocking him.

"Hemm try."

"But sir, he's just a Cleaning Service?" Protesting one of the employees who was an Architect, he looked at Mala with a contemptuous look.

"We'll see what the results look like." Arthur said while looking intently at the employee, he did not like anyone else who demeaned Mala. "This project depends on you Mala.." Arthur sternly looked at Mala.

"Lala, explain to Mala what our client asked for." Arthur said, Lala just nodded, then he invited Mala to sit down to discuss the design he would make.

"You can go out, we'll meet again before lunch." Arthur said, and everything in the room came out. After explaining everything to Mala, Lala followed her superior out of the room, before leaving she gave her spirit to Mala and was only met with a smile by Mala.

Now there are only Arthur, Rafli and Mala. Arthur glanced at Rafli who was still standing next to him, he was a little annoyed because Rafli was insensitive, he should also go out with other employees so that Arthur could be alone with Mala.

Arthur smiles satisfied after successfully evicting Rafli, he gets up from his chair and walks closer to Mala who is busy designing the park for her hotel project, Arthur stood next to Mala and watched the hand of the girl who was skillfully scraping the pen on the white paper.

Arthur smiled again, he did not expect if Mala was very talented, he was bearded to see the design of Mala which was not yet fully finished.

Arthur grabs his phone, he sends a message to Rafli to put breakfast in his room, he also gives Rafli a job so that his assistant does not interfere with his time with Mala.

"Aren't you tired?" Ask Arthur after a few hours Mala struggled with her busyness.

The girl just shook her head, she was focused on her work so that she did not care about Arthur who had been next to her.

Just before Mala's lunch hour had finished her design, the girl was surprised to see Arthur sitting next to her and watching her.

"I want to accompany you." Arthur answered honestly, making Mala feel strange.

"Can I see it now?" Arthur asked, pointing at the paper on the table.

Mala nodded, she shifted the size of the paper that was large enough so that Arthur was more free to check the design results. Arthur observed the design closely, frowning as he looked at the strange image between Mala's designs.

"What's this?" Arthur pointed to the picture.

Mala shifted her seat, she checked the drawing that Arthur had pointed to. Mala lowered her head when she saw the picture, she slightly held back the laughter of seeing the results of the picture.

"That's a picture of people." Answer Mala slowly.

"People? Why it looks like a round tofu pierced by a skewer." Arthur looked at Mala.

"It's his head." Mala pointed at a round image like the letter O.

"It's his body." He pointed to a straight-line image that was connected to a round image that he considered to be the head.

"This is his hand." Mala again pointed to two slashes on the right and left side of the straight line image.

"And this is his leg?" Guess Arhtur while pointing at the image most likely considered a leg by Mala.

Mala nodded, a second later she smiled, she felt the picture was very silly. Arthur smiled when he saw Mala smiling, not to mention that Mala's image made him want to laugh.

"You're an aspiring architect why drawing people just can't." Arthur with a smiling face.

"I don't know, either, I'm having trouble drawing people." Mala clearly withholding her smile.

"I, did she just call herself me." Inner Arthur, he was excited when Mala no longer used my word while she was with him.

Someone knocked on the door and Rafli emerged from behind the door followed by several employees who would continue their meeting.

Arthur stood up from his seat, he walked up to his chair and sat there. Everyone was sitting down, they were waiting for the presentation from Mala. Many of them underestimated Mala before the girl started presenting her designs.

"Come here, show them your design and explain every important point." Arthur points at Mala, and the girl walks toward Arthur.

Mala took a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down, Mala was very nervous because this was her first experience and for the first time her image would be seen by many people.

With the help of Rafli, Mala placed the picture on the board available in the meeting room, because of the limited time Mala had not had time to draw the design on the computer.

Everyone in the room was surprised to see Mala's design, they did not expect a Cleaning Service to have extraordinary abilities.

"I have previously said thank you to Mr. Arthur for giving me this incredible bridge." Mala started to open her voice.

"As you all know, this hotel project carries the concept of go green or eco friendly, because it is located in the middle of the city and there is no forest around it so I thought to create an artificial forest in the middle of the hotel. I take advantage of the empty space in the middle of the hotel building, although the area is only half an acre but I think it is enough to make an artificial forest there. We can plant fir trees and yellow acacia in the artificial forest. Why did I choose these two trees? Because both grow not too high, besides the leaves of the deciduous spruce tree can make the soil fertile so that we can plant flowers or other plants under them."

Mala continued his long presentation, all who were there were satisfied with Mala's design. They applauded Mala. The girl's eyes were teary, she was very moved because only this time the results of her hard work were appreciated by others.

After all agreed with Mala's design, they walked out of the room leaving Mala and Arthur there.

"You crying?" Arthur asked, looking at Mala's face.

"I'm so happy, thank you sir."
