Kelvan grabbed the file in front of him, opened it and read it carefully. His eyes were in disbelief. The file, on the first sheet, is a report of Jihan's examination and it is clearly written that Jihan has second-stage brain cancer. He continued to open the second sheet, seeing the letter in which Jihan was declared cured one year ago. From his letterhead, Kelvan knew the letter was issued by Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

"Is this real?" Kelvan asked.

Kelvan again opened the file, the third letter dated February 17 (four months ago). The letter contained information on where the cancer cells Jihan grew back.

Kelvan tried to check the authenticity of the letter. Of the three letters, two were issued by the hospital owned by his family. He had indeed seen the wet stamp on the letter, but Kelvan was still not convinced. Kelvan immediately contacted a cancer specialist at his hospital and the answer was the same as the description of the letter.

Jihan smiled as Kelvan began to stiffen, she certainly knew what Dr. Liza was saying. However, the faint smile changed with fear as Kelvan kicked down the table and got up from his chair. Jihan did not dare to raise her head at all, Did this plan that even just started fail?
