I went to Mr. Van Walton's house after returning from Paris. After asking permission to enter, I sat on the seat in front of him that was neatly placed in their living room. Mr. Van Walton, an old man with white hair and sharp eyes, looked at me kindly.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Walton," I said respectfully. "I wish you had time to talk to me."

Mr. Walton smiled and nodded. "Sure, please sit down," he replied, pointing to a chair nearby. "Oh yeah, how was your vacation with Anita?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, it's so fun. Paris is a beautiful city and we had an amazing time together. Anita and I were very impressed with the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre."

Mr. Walton smiled, recalling his youth. "Ahh, Paris, the alluring city. I also have great memories there when I was young. How was your experience visiting all the time in Paris?"

"I really enjoyed visiting landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We also tried a variety of delicious French food. But the most effective is to feel the cultural and artistic life there. There are so many awesome art exhibitions and shows."

Mr. Walton was interested in my story and asked, "Is there anything else interesting about your trip? What about the people in Paris?"

"I find people in Paris friendly and warm. I felt very welcome and they were willing to help me when I needed it. Even though there was a slight language difficulty, we can still communicate with body language and smile."

Mr. Walton nodded in agreement. "The French are known for their hospitality. Glad you had a great experience there. Is there anything else you want to tell me about your trip?"

"I also explored the surrounding areas such as Versailles and Montmartre. Versailles is an amazingly beautiful palace, and Monmartre has a special charm with street artists and delightful cafes. We really enjoyed cruising and knowing more about the history and culture of France."

Mr. Walton nodded with interest. "That all sounds amazing. I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday in Paris and had such a diverse experience."

"Thank you for listening and discussing my journey. I'm glad to share this experience with you."

After our pleasant conversation about Paris, we exchanged stories and memories. I started to speak carefully. "As you know, Anita and I have been engaged for quite a long time. But, after a recent trip to Paris, I feel the need to focus first before we get married."

Mr. Walton nodded, understood. "So, what do you want to focus on, son?"

"I want to focus on my job and my career" I explained. "I feel like there's still a lot I have to accomplish and learn before I'm really ready to get married and live life with Anita."

Mr. Walton put his hand on his lap and thought of my words for a moment before he finally nodded. "I understand how you feel, son. Being focused on yourself and your future is important. If you don't feel ready, then you deserve to take the time you need."

I feel relieved to hear it. "Thank you, Mr. Walton. I'm worried that this decision might disappoint Anita and your family."

Mr. Walton smiled again. "Anita is my most powerful and wise granddaughter. I'm sure he'll support you fully in your decision. And as his grandfather, I will support you as well."

I contacted Maya to arrange our meeting. We both agreed to meet at a recording studio that we had booked before. We arrived at the studio in high spirits, ready to record the song Maya had created.

We sat together in the control room, listening to a pre-recorded song. Maya showed her skills in creating songs, with beautiful melodies and heart-touching lyrics. I was really impressed with Maya's work and honored to be a part of this project.

After listening to the songs, we began discussing how we would best deliver this song. We discussed the vocal style, harmony, and musical arrangements that will be used. We give each other input and advice, to achieve maximum results.

We then entered the recording room and started recording songs. I was nervous at first, but with the help of Maya who gave me encouragement and support, I was able to overcome that nervousness. We inspire each other while recording, trying to give the right emotions to match the lyrics of the song.

“Your voice is indeed very good, Prince," Maya said.

I smiled ashamed to hear it. "Thank you, Maya. But I still need a lot to learn to be as good as you."

Maya shook her head. "There's no need to compare yourself to anyone else, Prince. Everyone has their own uniqueness and privilege in music. The important thing is that you channel your emotions earnestly while singing this song."

I nodded, understanding what Maya meant. Together, we continue to record songs with passion and dedication. Every time we re-hear a recording, we give each other input to improve the quality of the song.

A few hours later, we finally finished recording the song. We sat together in the control room, waiting for the results of the mix and mastering to be completed. While waiting, Maya patted me on the shoulder with pride.

"What you're doing here is really amazing, Prince," he said sincerely. "I'm sure this song will be something special."

I smiled broadly hearing it. Maya not only gave me encouragement and support, but also made me believe in my own abilities. With him, I felt more courageous to explore my talents in the world of music.

When the mastering was done, we listened to the song together. The atmosphere of the recording room was filled with emotion and pride. The song sounds perfect with blazing lyrics and vocals full of nuance.

"We made it, Prince," Maya said with sparkling eyes. "We made something so special."

The following days, we were both busy with our own activities. However, we always steal the time to continue recording this song. We spent the nights in the recording studio, trying to achieve the perfect result.
