The night ...

"Well, what should I say to Arum and the others??"

Anin kept pacing back and forth while thinking what she should say to her friends.

Suddenly Rafa enters, but Anin is completely unaware of it.

"Based on a weird girl!!" as Rafa looked at Anin who was walking back and forth while pacing.

"Sit down!!" rafa's orders startled Anin.

"Jeez, you came in like a thief, just startled!!" anin said a little emotionally.

Rafa does not bother him even busy eating while checking his work through his cellphone.

Anin and Rafa prepare to check in. Their flight departure was scheduled at 10 a.m.

"Nothing!!" anin replied, then sat down and took her phone.

Anin tried to distract her from looking stiff sitting alone with Rafa in the VIP room.

"Did my mother know I was going home with you??" tanya Anin suddenly broke the silence between them.

"Your family doesn't know, wouldn't it be better for you to explain yourself??" rafa asked while looking at him sharply.

Anin lowered her Head no longer daring to look at Rafa. "Ah, what should I say to Mom and Mia??" he said in his heart.

"Don't try lying again!!" snapping Rafa made Anin shocked. Anin just silently looked at Rafa, who could read what Anin was in heart.

"Anin where??" tanya Dimas, Anin's coworker at Arum's office, who was surprised to see Anin had not yet appeared even though the office clock had shown at 8.

"He didn't come" Erin replied casually.

"Loh, why? Sick??"

"He stopped working!" answer Erin again.

"Why??"

"Why!! Why!! How do I know!! Ask yourself there." replied Erin annoyed, then left Dimas pouting with Erin's answer.

Erin and Shasa had indeed promised not to tell Anin the matter to others. Yesterday night Anin contacted the two of them and told Erin and Shasa the real problems she had considered her family during her time working at Arum company.

In his room, Arum was still busy with his work. Suddenly Bima entered and immediately hurriedly sat in front of Arum.

"Is Anin really coming home??" bima asked impatiently.

"Yes, right."

"Why?? When??"

"So early this morning, he said he had a sudden affair at his house. And he had to go home."

That afternoon, cloudy weather enveloped the town of B when Anin and Rafa had just arrived from their trip, which was quite a distance away.

Rafa stared at his car that was speeding in the rain until it disappeared. "I'm sorry, I. I just don't want to go too far into your life" she said and went inside a restaurant.

Bi Inah who was busy accompanying Rafin to play, was suddenly shocked by the voice of Isah, the maid in the house. The one who shouted called out Bi Inah's name.

"Bi Inah!! Bi This!!" he shouted with a voice that was almost exhausted from running while calling Bi Inah's name.

"Why, Sah??"

"That's anu, that's loh, Bi ..."

Not yet had Isah finish his speech, Anin suddenly appeared making Bi Inah could only be silent and cry.

"Anin????" he then ran to hug his daughter.

"I'm sorry Anin, am I??"

"No need to apologize, baby. Whatever it is, Anin is still Mom's daughter" said Bi Inah, and they both cried while hugging.

Rafin, who saw his mother coming home, immediately ran to hug her. The three of them were finally able to let go of the longing that had been held back.

Anin peeked out from behind the door, and saw her mother lying down about to sleep, hugging Rafin.

"Mom?? Can Anin sleep here??" pinta Anin with a smile.

"Come on, come on in, son." Bi Inah replied allowing Anin to sleep with her.

Anin slid her body beside Rafin. The mattresses in Bi Inah's room were quite large, so even with the addition of Anin, they did not feel cramped at all.

Anin looked at her mother's tired face. "Mother?? Anin's really sorry, huh??". Anin still feels guilty for the lies she's been doing to her mother. And after telling the true events to Bi Inah and also Mia this afternoon, it made Anin's guilt even greater.

He finally understood, family is the only way home when we start to get lost. A place that will never reject us when we make a mistake.

Bi Inah nodded, and gently stroked Anin's cheek. "Sleep, it's night. You must be so tired."

The three of them finally fell asleep while accompanied by a speck of rain, which did not stop since Anin arrived in the city.
