Episode 43

After coming out of the bathroom and seeing that Anin was not in his room, Rei looked for Anin in every corner of the house, but still did not find Anin.

"Honey, where are you??"

Rei shouted while calling Anin, but did not find her either.

"Where are you, anyway?? Where do you go these nights??"

Rei then took his phone and contacted Anin. But, Anin's phone turns out to be staying in her room, because Rei hears Anin's cell phone voice from inside the room.

"Y!! where are you??"

Rei walked back and forth in frustration of not being able to find Anin. It's been almost half an hour and Anin's gone and hasn't returned yet.

In a cafe M ...

It turned out that Anin was sitting while glancing at her watch like she was waiting for someone.

And right, before long a middle-aged woman, yet still beautiful and elegant in style, walked towards Anin. The woman sat right in front of Anin and smiled.

That woman is Mrs Savian, Rei's mother. Shortly after Rei entered the bathroom, Anin's phone rang and a foreign number was on her phone screen.

Anin decided to ignore it, as she also did not know whose number it was. After 3 calls came in and it was very disturbing, Anin finally picked up the call.

"Hello, who is this??"

"Hi, Anin. I'm Rei's mom."

Anin was stunned for a moment, shocked to hear that the caller turned out to be Rei's mom.

"Eh, yes, Madam. I'm Anin .." Anin replied stammeringly.

"Son, can we meet right now at M's cafe?? I'll give you the address"

"Bi bi cana, Madam. I'll be there soon. Madam can send you the address right now"

"Alright, Son. But please keep this meeting of ours a secret from my son. Can you do it??"

Anin did not understand why Rei's mother asked like that. But Anin did not want to think that strangely for now.

Then Anin immediately rushed to the intended address, but he forgot to bring his phone. Because he had been in a hurry to change clothes, and with memory while reading Rei's mammoth message, he finally arrived at the cafe in question.

"Hello, I'm Mrs Savian her mom Rei" she introduced herself and shook Anin's hand.

"Eh, yes, Madam. I am Anin, Anindya Princess Atmaja. Nice to meet you, "Anin replied replying to the hand of the woman sitting in front of him.

The woman gently looked at Anin and remained smiling.

"I'm sorry, I. I had to call you. I'm sorry I can't welcome you here well."

Anin was confused by Rei's mother's words. But then he thought, maybe Rei's mom felt bad because after 2 weeks, they could only get acquainted.

"It's okay, Madam. I can understand him. There is no need to apologize to me", Anin replied.

"Don't call me madam. Just call me aunt."

"Well, Tan," Anin lowered her head.

"Did my son treat you well here??"

Anin nodded her head. "Your son treated me well. You take it easy ..."

Lady Savian then moved, right next to Anin. He looked at the girl with a guilty feeling.

"What's up, auntie?"

Anin could feel sadness in Madam Savian's eyes. But she did not understand what was going on with her future mother-in-law.

"Did Rei say something to you?? Um, I mean did she say anything about her papa??"

"No, Tan. Rei didn't tell Anin anything about om. Did something happen to you, Tan?"

Madam Savian understood, it turned out that Rei had not told Anin about her husband's disapproval of their relationship.

"I'm sorry, son. More so, me and my husband."

Then Lady Savian told her everything, about Rei's coming last week to their house, her husband's quarrel with her own son, and her husband's disapproval of their relationship.

Anin sat down. Suddenly his world was destroyed. His dream to be with the people he loves, hanncur already.

The honesty he revealed, turned out to be his weakest point in a relationship.

"It's okay, Madam. I understand. will be my position"

"I just want my family back. I can't bear to see my son and husband fighting like this. Son, as a mother I just want to do the best for my family"

"I understand, Madam. I totally understand. I am indeed not supposed to be present in the life of Rei, your son."

Madam Savian clasped Anin's hand tightly. He understood how Anin was in condition now. But he did have to do this all for the wholeness of his family.

"I can only ask you 1 thing as a mother"

"What'sthat??

"Please leave my son."

As in the lightning strike in broad daylight, Anin tried to hold back her tears. She did not want to cry in front of Rei's parents. He smiled and nodded.

"Mrs take it easy. Anin will do as the madam says. Anin's leaving Rei."

"Thank you, Son. Thank you for bringing back my family's happiness" Savian said, hugging Anin.

Anin releases Rei's maternal embrace. "Can you also help me 1 thing??"

"What is that, son??"

"Please choose a girl who's best for Rei, your son. You are so lucky to have a son like him. I am also very lucky to have known him. Thanks, Madam. Although our introduction was quite short, but I'm glad to see you."

Anin stood up and lowered her head. "Then I say goodbye. Goodbye, Madam."

Madam Savian could only look at Anin's departure. He could do nothing but keep Anin away from Rei. All for the Savian family. Guilt that could be clearly seen from the face of Mrs Savian, would be the heaviest regret of her life.

Anin passed away leaving Madam Savian. The water eventually fell as well. His steps were shaken, his heart broken. He could only bury deeply in his dreams all this time.

"P airport," Anin orders once inside the taxi.

"Ah, where are you, baby??"

Rei doesn't know where else to find his girlfriend. Then he remembered that Anin's phone was left in the room. He thought, there might be a clue he could get from there.

Rei then goes to the room, picks up Anin's phone and checks it. Rei sees that there is one message that can be a clue to where Anin went. It was the address of a cafe not far from Rei's apartment.

"Who told you to go there???"

Rei then checked the incoming calls and outgoing calls. He wanted to find out who sent Anin there.

How surprised he was when he saw that there was an incoming call from a number he knew.

"Mommy??? Why did you send Anin there??"

Rei felt something was wrong. He then decides to leave, taking Anin's phone and car keys in a hurry.

Rei drove his car to the address on Anin's phone. 15 then he arrived and hurriedly ran inside.

Inside Rei looked at every corner, looking for the whereabouts of Anin. But he didn't find Anin. Only Madame Savian was sitting while staring across the street. Rei approached his mama, then sat down next to her.

Madam Savian was shocked to see Rei who was already in front of her eyes.

"Reeeii??"

"What my mom did. Where's Anin??"

Rei knows, something must have happened with Anin.

"Mommy! Answer Rei!!"

Madam Savian could only look at her son with a guilty feeling. He knew his actions would hurt his beloved son.

"I'm sorry, Mommy ..."

Rei suddenly hit the table and ruffled his hair violently.

"Oahhhh!! !!!"
