A note from Mr. Halim to Naya

I've been waiting all day for news from Niko's sister, but there's still no word from her. Several times I sent him a message but still no reply. I'm pissed at him. What kind of work is there to keep sister Niko busy like that and ignore me?

Three days later, there was an incoming message on my phone that turned out to be from Niko's sister. I quickly opened a message from Niko's sister.

"Darling, sorry to reply to your message. Trust me, you're busy here. If the work here is done, you will soon return to Jakarta. Take good care of yourself, yes. I love you," wrote Niko to me.

Uh, you're a bitch. Kak Niko did not tell when he returned to Jakarta. I don't know how much longer he's done in Istanbul. I miss her a lot, too, and I opened the photo gallery of Niko's sister, I looked her in the face and cursed her with annoyance.

One week later, Niko finally contacted me. I was so happy to hear his voice that I longed for. But when I answered the phone call from Niko's sister, her voice sounded like one who was sad. I get anxious and scared when something bad has happened.

"Naya, there is sad news that you want to convey," said Niko slowly.

"What brother do you mean?"

"Mr Halim Ahmet passed away today, Brother has informed all directors at Haras Company company in Jakarta. Maybe you come home to Jakarta in a week, because you want to take care of something important here. So sorry if for a while Brother did not tell you," said brother Niko explained.

"I'm so sorry. Mr. Halim's departure is too soon. Why is this happening, brother?" ask me who doesn't know what else to say. I was quite shocked to hear of the passing of Mr. Halim.

"Let's talk again, yeah. Brother will prepare for Mr. Halim's funeral soon. See you later, I miss you!" niko said in a bit of a hurry.

I was upset because again Niko's sister ignored me. But I must understand because the situation there is mourning.

One week later, the one I was waiting for finally came as well. Kak Niko is already in Indonesia and is now in the office of Haras Company. I approached him in the front lobby but I saw a man sitting near Niko's feet with a cold and sharp face. Then I undo my intentions because there is a cold-faced Aras and also one other man that I do not know who he is. It seems they are talking about something serious.

Half an hour later, Niko suddenly came to my office and suddenly I got up from my chair and walked up to Niko's feet and hugged her.

"Sister, I missed you. You evil did not tell me to come home today" I said to Niko's sister, whom she also returned my arms.

"I'm sorry, let's be surprised," said Niko's sister slightly smiling stiffly.

"Ekhem..," the voice of young master Aras made me release my arms at Niko's feet.

"Sorry sir, please sit down!" niko said to young master Aras.

I was surprised because suddenly a CEO like young master Aras could sit in the workspace of his subordinates. I'm confused what exactly is this? Moreover, there was a foreign man whom I had seen in the lobby with young master Aras and brother Niko. Is there something they want to talk about here? But why not just in the young master's office?

My eyes turned on Niko's sister who was also looking at me. Then Niko's sister approached me.

"There is something that will be conveyed by Mr. Agus. He is Mr. Halim's lawyer, and you are required to be in this conversation" Niko whispered to my ear.

"Sir Agus, this is Kanaya Aurora" said brother Niko introduced me to Mr. Agus.

I immediately shook hands with Mr. Agus and returned the smile he gave me. Then I sat down next to Niko's sister.

"Before I will give a letter to Miss Naya which has been entrusted by Mr. Halim to me to be given to Miss Naya," Mr. Agus handed me a white envelope containing a letter, then I received it.

"What letter is that? Why did Naya get a letter from Papa?" young master Aras asked confusedly by frowning.

"I don't know either, Sir. According to orders from Mr. Halim, this will I will read if Miss Naya has read a letter given by her," said Mr. Agus explained.

"Wish letter? Why am I joining you here?" ask me with curiosity.

"Hurry to open and read the letter, let it all be done quickly," young master Aras looked annoyed.

I stared at Niko's brother who nodded slowly at me as if asking me to read the letter I still hold.

"Alright," I said nervously as I glanced at the expression on the face of young master Aras who was a little scary.

All the eyes of everyone around me looked at me as if they were impatient with the contents of the letter that Mr. Halim had given me.

I quickly opened the envelope containing the letter and then with a slight tremble I read slowly reading the letter starting from each word or sentence in each line. At first I read it quietly, but the more it explains to the point the more I understand why Mr. Halim Ahmet gave me this letter and first told me to read it.

I was shocked and didn't know what to do now. I was limp and silent after reading the letter. The three men who were near me were still staring at me waiting for me to say what was written on the letter of giving after the passing of the late master Halim.

"What's the letter?" asked young master Aras impatiently.

I was silent for a moment, my eyes were already glazed over and unable to tell them all.

"This must be wrong, this letter is not true. It must be that Mr. Halim wrote this letter wrongly for me. I will not fulfill this letter. Until I will not accept Mr. Halim's request!" I stood up, then I looked at the three men before me.

"What do you mean Naya? What's wrong with that letter?" asked young master Aras looking intently at me.

"I'm not going to agree to it. This is ridiculous" I said with my mood getting worse.

"Take care of your words, Naya. Don't be so careless when you talk!" said Mr. Aras who did not accept my words, his eyes seemed to pounce on me.

I didn't accept any of this, when I read the letter, I was really shocked and it felt like my heart stopped beating. I can no longer accept Mr. Halim's request. The person is already in another world but still imposes his will on me.

Since I was fed up with what was happening right now, I decided to just leave them with the letter I had read.

"Where are you going, Naya? Hey ... Don't go, Nayaaa!" shouted young master Aras in annoyance and was about to catch up with me.
