Wanted to Prove

As the day went on in the morning, Arjuna also woke up from his sleep that felt good after one week of insomnia. Slowly Arjuna let go of his hold on Chintania, then gently kissed his wife's forehead.

Carefully, Arjuna got out of bed, then rubbed and kissed his wife's stomach which still looks flat. Arjuna fixed his wife's blanket and gently stroked Chintania's head, with a heavy heart, Arjuna left the room.

Shortly after Arjuna left the room, Nia's mother was seen entering the room. Chintania seemed to blink her eyes as Mama Nia checked the infusion.

"Away awake?"mama Nia's question was answered with a small nod and a faint smile by Chintania,"Are you feeling nauseous?"asked Mama Nia again, and Chintania shook her head slowly.

Mama Nia examined her daughter's body then helped Chintania to clean up. This morning Chintania's face looks fresher than usual, because usually, Chintania often woke up during sleep. But last night Chintania slept soundly until the morning so that his body felt fresher.

For four nights in a row, Arjuna always came while Chintania was asleep and left Chintania before Chintania woke up, so Chintania was unaware of Arjuna's presence. Surprisingly, during those four days, Chintania no longer experienced nausea and vomiting.

"Ma, we're going home, huh?! I feel healthier already. I'm also tired of staying in the hospital, ma'am, "grim Chintania at her mom.

That night, Chintania went back to sleep at her mother's house. But that night was different from the previous four nights. That night Chintania woke up several times from her sleep like when Arjuna was not with her. In the morning, Chintania woke up because her stomach felt very nauseous and finally Chintania again vomited like four days before.

"Darling, are you having morning sickness again?"asked Mama Nia who looked worried to see Chintania's pale face. Mama Nia helps Chintania to lie down again.

"Why did I get sick this morning and throw up again, huh, ma? Though it has been four days I have not been nauseous and vomited anymore" complained Chintania with a pale face.

"Try to take medicine to relieve nausea, baby," said Mama Nia while thinking.

From his return home until his two days in the hospital, Chintania experienced nausea and vomiting. But during the four days Arjuna slept with Chintania, the daughter no longer experienced nausea and vomiting. And last night when Arjuna did not sleep with Chintania, her daughter again experienced nausea and vomiting.

Does the presence of Arjuna affect the state of Chintania? That's what's on Nia's mom's mind. But until now, Mama Nia still kept Arjuna's presence in the hospital for four consecutive days from Chintania.

It has been three days since Chintania returned from the hospital, and it has been three days since Chintania again experienced nausea and vomiting. Chintania is back to drop. Mama Nia is very worried about her daughter, so she finally chooses to contact Arjuna.

"Hello, Juni! Have you been back from out of town?"ask Mama Nia to the point.

"Yet, ma. But tomorrow I can go home. Is everything okay, ma?"arjuna asked from the phone, sounding worried. It was rare for her mother-in-law to contact her if nothing mattered.

"Since returning home, Nia returned nauseous and vomiting, Jun. Maybe this sounds like a myth and it doesn't make sense, but, mama reckon, the baby in Nia's womb doesn't want to be away from you, Jun. Every time you're away from Nia, Nia is always nauseous and vomiting" said Mama Nia laughing blandly.

Mama Nia found it funny, she was a doctor who even believed things outside of that logic. But what can be done, in fact, his daughter did experience nausea and vomiting whenever away from her daughter-in-law.

"Then, I'll be home later after dinner with the client, ma," said Arjuna worriedly.

"Don't force it, Jun!"said Mama Nia so feel bad.

"Of course it's okay. This is your home too. You just call mom if you get to the front of the house" said Mama Nia.

"Yes, thank you, ma," Arjuna said heartily.

"Sama-sama,"sook mama Nia and the phone call was terminated.

After calling Arjuna, Mama Nia went to Chintania's room to see how she was, "Honey, what do you want to eat? Mama will find," said Mama Nia who seemed concerned about the situation of her daughter.

"I don't have an appetite, ma. My stomach feels nauseous,"chintania said.

"Darling, you better make up with your husband. The child in your womb, does not seem to want to be away from his father," said Mama Nia carefully.

"What does mama mean?"tanya Chintania, who was leaning on the headboard of her bed, seemed to not understand what her mother said.

"You remember not? Ever since you separated from Arjuna's house, you've always had nausea and vomiting. That's because the child in your womb doesn't want to be away from his father" said Mama Nia carefully.

"Mama is just. It can't be like that, ma. The proof, four days before I got home from the hospital, I didn't have nausea and vomiting, ma'am,"let Chintania smile thinly with a pale-looking face.

"That's because for four nights in a row Arjuna always sleeps with you" said mama Nia made Chintania surprised.

"A.. What does mom mean?"tanya Chintania stammered.

"I'm sorry, mama! Actually, before you came home from the hospital yesterday, Arjuna stayed over and slept with you for four nights in a row. For four days you did not feel sick or vomit. That's the sign, the child in the womb you don't want to be away from his father" said Mama Nia frankly.

"Mas Juna slept with me? So mama told Mas Juna that I..," Nia did not continue her words and lowered her face.

Mama Nia let out a long breath. "Yes, my mom told me. During your stay at home, Arjuna comes to see you every day. But you don't want to see him. When you were hospitalized yesterday, from day to night, Arjuna did not want to leave the gate of our house before you wanted to see him.

"He even knelt at my feet, begging me to meet you. He promised mama, will try to forget his past and will try to make you happy" said Mama Nia at length.

"But I haven't been able to forgive Mas Juna, ma. My heart is still sick and not sure if Mas Juna can keep that promise," Nia said with a sad look on her face.

"Mama can't force you to make up with Arjuna, but, think of the baby in your womb. The fetus that you carry is really fussy when away from his father," said Mama Nia then sighed a long sigh, "Let's just say, Arjuna tonight will stay here. You pretended you didn't know Arjuna was staying here. And tomorrow we see, you're nauseous and vomiting or not if Arjuna is with you tonight" said Mama Nia.

"All right! But only tonight," Chintania agreed. Chintania wanted to prove what her mother said. Is it true that he stopped nausea and vomiting when with Arjuna.
