"Lang, the cave helped their thump." said Irwan who was beside me by holding a double stick as well.

"Lu's sure Wan?" ask me a little surprised, because I know the nature of Irwan when he was angry. He would not care about his opponent's life, all he had in his brain was wanting to kill.

"Related."

"But you mustn't kill them. Enough of what you used to do, you killed people in the park."

"Quiet, now the cave can control the emotions of the cave."

Flashbacks

From Junior High, I and Irwan participated in the silat exkul that was in school. We were both very enthusiastic in the silat practice, as we often saw fighting scenes in action-film. In the middle of the first year, our coach invited us to go to the place of the Tiger ralek, because he saw that we had a hidden talent in silat. Arriving there, we were very surprised at the portion of their training. Their way of training was different from what we learned in school, their upbringing was harder and more merciless.

'The silek legend (silat) of Minangkabau was created by the Royal Grand Duke of Pariangan, Tanah Datar at the foot of the Merapi mountain in the 11th century. Then the silkek was brought and developed by the Minang nomads throughout Southeast Asia. Similarly, folklore about the origin of the Cimande silat, which tells of a woman who modeled the movement of fighting between tigers and monkeys.'

Seeing all that, Irwan and I shivered in fear, especially when they saw that there was a disciple who was fisting with strength, until he fell.

"Like this is Silek Cimande's actual practice, Alang, Irwan."

"Here, you will be kept mercilessly. Until you're worthy

being a real swordsman, like in the movies you watch." said our coach.

After that, Irwan and I were invited to introduce themselves to all of them. They received well, and were instantly familiar with no restrictions of seniors and juniors. The silek tuo or the silat master teacher gave a warning to me and Irwan

"Jiko mamancak in galanggang, kalo basilek in muko musuah. Jan gunokan penyilek science to manindas." This talk makes me and Irwan confused, because they do not understand what it means.

Seeing us in confusion, the coach explained the meaning of the words.

"If you do a pencak dance on the rink, while if you flash to face the enemy. Don't use the magic you've learned to oppress the weak."

"What's the ring, brother?" ask me confused.

"Like a staging stage" he replied

In the admission process, Irwan and I were bound in a strong oath that read.

Kaateh indak bapucuak, under indak baurek, ditangah-tangah giriak beetles.

Meaningful, the vow-breaker will never have a good life in the world, as the fate of a languishing tree implies.

Time after time we trained hard, became more trained. No longer afraid of snapping, can control emotions and endurance becomes stronger.

It was Sunday night, that Irwan and I went for a walk to the park, to get some fresh air after the coronation day of being teachers.

While relaxing on the quiet side of the road, a group of thugs approached us. They asked for all the valuables we brought, by force using knives. Receiving such treatment, Irwan and I immediately dodged and kept a distance from them.

Some thugs pulled out a small knife when we found out we were avoiding. Seeing that many of them were carrying sharp weapons, I and Irwan immediately pulled out the kerambit weapons that we always hide behind clothes, while traveling.

'A cambite is a small weapon similar in shape to a celurite, only small in size. Weapons from Minangkabau.'

Like an action movie scene, we make the movements of the horses that make the thugs laugh.

"Hahaha, it looks like they are watching a lot of kung fu mah" said someone from them.

"God, you better hand over your valuables and get out of here. If you don't want to die!"

Whereas I just made them paralyzed, by tearing them right in the joints.

After taking care of the thugs, we immediately went to the store to tell this incident. I don't know if the thugs' safety, whether it's safe or not. Because when we left, I saw that they took out a lot of d*rah.

...

"What do you mean you're blocking our way!?" asked Irwan snarling.

"WE DIDN'T ACCEPT THE PREVIOUS DEFEAT, YOU HAVE TO WE EXHAUST!!" bentak Pandu's.

"OK, if you want that. Go ahead."

Irwan and I immediately took a swing to make sturdy horses and simultaneously said.

"Nature is not supposed to be a teacher."

The fight was fierce and fast, because Irwan and I did not want to lose emotional awareness. The 4 seniors were lying in pain, as our double stick punch hit their faces and bodies. While I and Irwan only get bruises on both hands, for fending off blows from wood and iron.

Not long after, a group of help from the school came to end the fight. The security guard and the teachers immediately brought the 4 seniors back to school to be treated, and the Headmaster told Irwan and I to come along as well.

Arriving there, the Headmaster immediately called the parents of the 4 seniors to be informed of their children's actions. Anin instantly took out the P3K box and instantly treated me, seeing that Irwan instantly slipped.

"The doang alang obeyed, I did not. Fate singles gini mah."

"Yes later after finishing Alang, I also treat you, Wan,"

After finishing the treatment, Master called me and Irwan to enter the principal's room, because the parents of the 4 seniors had already arrived. When we entered, deliberations began to end this problem. At first their parents did not accept that their children were beaten up to this extent, even until someone wanted to hit me and Irwan, but was stopped by some Teachers. After all explained by the Headmaster and the recognition of everything, finally their parents accepted, and immediately scolded their respective children.

The Headmaster decided to get them out of the school, because their deeds had already been so outrageous. But the parents of 4 seniors did not accept it, because their child was already in 3rd grade and soon will be a national exam.

Seeing their parents' expressions, I immediately felt pity.

"I'm sorry, sir," I said cutting off the conversation.

"What's up, Lang?"

"Don't get them out, sir."

"Why not? They've already beaten you up, so good thing you can do it, or not?"

"Yes right you explained, but I beg you not to let them out. Let them finish school until graduation."

The Headmaster and Teacher immediately met briefly to find a middle way of this problem.

"Okay, the son of the Father and Mother we will not release. But there are conditions!" the Headmaster said firmly.

"What is that, sir?" askthem.

"They are prohibited from making troublemakers back, should report 2x daily to me. And they are forbidden to bring a vehicle, come and go home mandatory with parents."

"If they break, we will disrespect them. Understandable?"

"Can, Sir. Thank you for not taking our son out."

"Thank you to Alang, for he has forgiven your son" said the Principal.

The problem was over, the parents and 4 seniors thanked and apologized for the incident. Irwan and I went home accompanied by the teacher representatives, to be explained to our parents at home.

...

"Hey ho guys, what's your news today ☺. Are you smiling today?"
