A bright morning in the city that Naynay just came to last night, the warm sunlight felt so soft on the skin. In the room, Naynay had finished the morning bath and must have also finished taking care of a large baby who had exceeded the limit. Breakfast should be served.
With a slow step, Naynay went down the stairs to get to the living room. From here he heard laughter from his daughter. After reaching there, Naynay rested her body beside Araa who was sitting on Yasmin's lap.
"That's.. Very happy with Bubu's smart boy!" Naynay gives a kiss on the cheek of the puffer Araa.
"What a grandpa first, dear." Naynay took Araa's little hand and attached it to her stomach. As the kick felt in her palm, Araa laughed cheerfully baring her teeth that were starting to grow again.
"Where's the babymoon?" yasmin asked while stroking Naynay's stomach.
"It's really cool, but this kid's not coming, so it's less exciting." Pinched Araa's cheeks gently.
"You also need vacation time together, satisfied before the grandpa was born!" yasmin. Naynay nodded and continued playing with Araa.
Two other girls came and joined them. Qiara and Silla then invite Naynay and Araa to go to the park behind the house. Red and white roses bloomed there, Naynay was overjoyed to see it.
"Oh, what time did you guys arrive last night?" naynay asked when they had sat in the chair that was there. Araa was on Qiara's lap.
"Maybe it's past midnight, I go straight to sleep when I'm here." Qiara answered.
Naynay turned to stare at the dumbstruck Silla staring at the blue-colored flowers whose stems were crisscrossing on a pillar near them.
"Qiara, can you take care of Araa for a second? I need to be with Silla" Naynay asked Qiara.
"OKAY. Later if he's fussy, I call aunt Yasmin." The girl was willing to take care of Araa.
"Come on!" said Naynay and pulled Silla's hand back into the house.
Naynay took Silla to his room and told the girl to sit on the sofa. The pregnant woman went to the bed and took the box that was on the nightstand. Then take her to Silla.
"I made this a few days ago for you. You likey?" Naynay gives a blue dream catcher that he made first with Mr. Hen and Afif.
Silla received the beautiful thing with sparkling eyes. She hugged Naynay for being happy to get that beautiful dream catcher." I like! Thank you, Sister-in-law."
Naynay smiled and nodded. He smiled when he saw Silla loved the craft she made.
"Hmmm... Can I ask you something?" naynay asked doubtfully making Silla stare at him confusedly.
"What?" ask Silla.
"Do you feel like you're forgetting something or someone you care about? Girlfriend, maybe?" ask Naynay carefully.
Silla placed the dream catcher on the table carefully, fearing that the gift from her sister-in-law was broken. He looked at Naynay with an uncharacteristic gaze.
"Not feeling, but I've really lost someone I care about. The stiff man who was my first love, I lost him." Silla stared at Naynay's widened eyes.
"Silla, do you remember that? Your memory is back?" naynay asked in disbelief, his mouth opened so surprised earlier.
"Hmm, I remember. About a year ago my head hurt when I saw a sea painting with a couple sitting in a car. When the pain whipped, I could see many flashes of my lost memories."
"Then, why aren't you being honest with Sister Iyan?" ask Naynay wonder.
"Sister-in-law, I want to be honest about my memory that has returned. But when I saw him acting relaxed as if there was nothing between us, I was sad. My brain doesn't really forget it just yet, I often see glimpses of what we're doing even if it's just a shadow." Silla cried and Naynay immediately hugged her. He rubbed his sister-in-law's back gently to calm down.
"Did he not love me anymore? I was sick every time I saw him acting indifferent to me. He lied about what he said he loved me!" Silla's cry hardened, remembering her love story made her heart hurt again.
Naynay just kept quiet, she gave Silla a chance to reveal the burden in her heart that she had long endured.
"I miss him, usually he's the one who always hugs me when I'm sad. I miss the times where she nags me because I'm a prankster.. Hiks.." said Silla in between the cries that made her body shake.
"Why didn't he try to get me to take it back then? He's evil!! I was tormented not being able to sleep because I was curious about whose shadow came to my dreams every night...."
Naynay stared at the slightly swaying curtains, two men came out from there and walked over to him. "Bring her room, Brother Iyan."
Carefully, Ryan carried Silla and took her to his room. He smiled as he recalled everything the girl had said to Naynay earlier. Ryan laid Silla's body on the bed, while she didn't sit on the edge.
"I've never lied to you, let alone about me loving you. Everything's honest, Silla." Ryan rubbed Silla's wet cheeks because of those tears.
Ryan has to say thank you to Naynay. It was because of her young Miss that she was able to find out that Silla had already remembered her. Early in the morning, Afif asked her to come to his room. And it turns out it was Naynay's plan that wanted to help Silla regain her memory. But who would have thought that Silla had remembered everything since one year ago.
Ryan patiently waited for the girl to wake up. He'll explain everything to Silla. Until those pretty eyes began to open slowly, Ryan smiled faintly.
Silla was surprised to find Ryan in her room, sitting next to her still lying down. Silla sat down quietly and rubbed her disheveled face.
"Do you need anything?" silla asked using formal language on Ryan who was staring intensely at her.
"Yes, I need your hug, Miss!" ryan's reply was casual which made Silla surprised.
Silla inched backwards as Ryan moved closer to her. Until when his back hit the headboard of the bed, Ryan immediately hugged him.
"I miss you, Cilla," whispered Ryan in Silla's ears whose body was dumbfounded at Ryan's call to her.
Silla's eyes glazed over as Ryan again said the same sentence. He returned the hug tightly like a person so afraid of losing for the second time.
Ryan peeked at Silla's head in a row, his hands rubbing the back of her head. Ryan repeatedly said that he misses Silla.
"Cilla is not crybaby" Ryan said after releasing his embrace from Silla. He wiped the tears on her cheek.
Silla didn't know what to say, she was still as hiccupping as her watery eyes. He went back into Ryan's arms.
"Sir Iyan is evil" he said slowly before his cries hardened.
"Sorry," replied Ryan briefly. He waited for Silla to calm down first, then he would talk at length later.
Silla took off her embrace and wiped away her rough tears and snot. "Sir Iyan doesn't love Cilla!" said angry.
"I love you" said Ryan holding Silla's hands. "I just don't want to force you to remember everything. I don't want my girl to get sick if I do."
Silla was silent, but her sobbing still sounded soft.
"Cilla, I'm sorry I didn't pick you up that time. If only I hadn't slept, then none of this would have happened. I'm sorry" Ryan said with a still-so-great sense of guilt over what happened to the girl.
"This is what Cilla does not like about Sister Iyan, the hobby is self-defeating!" said Silla annoyed and hit Ryan's burly arm. "That's not your fault, don't talk like that anymore!"
Silla is basically fierce and rude, but that's what made Ryan fall in love with her. The girl he called Cilla never fooled herself. He will do what he likes, and will be frank if he doesn't like something.
"Sister has to replace two wasted years" said Silla later, who made Ryan smile and nodded his head.
