Orphanage, a place where disadvantaged children hang their lives. Nurtured and educated by nursing home mothers who are like their own mothers. Every laugh and smile that was engraved from the dozens of children was like a wind of heaven soothing the heart of the mother of the orphanage.
This is where Naynay and her husband are now, of course there are also Ryan and Rania who certainly still follow where the couple went. The luxury car they were riding had switched functions to become a toy object for children aged five years in the front yard of the home.
Naynay arrived unannounced until the housewife who was gardening with some girls there was shocked. Their spruce faces made Naynay smile widely.
"Sorry, make Miss and Master wait." The middle-aged woman slightly lowered her head from feeling unwell. He had just finished cleaning his body that was dirty from the ground.
Naynay smiled sweetly. "It's okay, Bi. Naynay didn't come here to say anything, just relax."
The housewife who was about fifty years old returned Naynay's smile. She always felt the warmth of being called aunty by Naynay.
"Does Miss need anything? It doesn't usually come suddenly like this." The mother finally asked about the intention of Naynay's arrival and the other three people. Usually Naynay will always contact him if he wants to come.
"Nay misses the kids, so come straight here" Naynay said. "This is Afif's sister, Naynay's husband. That one over there is Brother Ryan, and this one must be Auntie's already poulted to the toe." Naynay introduces two people who feel familiar to the mother of the home. Not forgetting her index finger pointed towards Rania who was smiling while waving her hand.
The mother of the parlour is really surprised to hear that Naynay is married, isn't she still in High School? And also, he had already realized who that handsome man was. He's a young businessman whose face often appears on tv, right?
"Sorry, yes, Bi. Naynay didn't invite Auntie to the kids, because it was impromptu." Naynay held the hand of the house's mother while kissing her.
Rania who has often accompanied Naynay here would have known that her best friend was very appreciative and affectionate with the mother of the orphanage. But unlike Afif and Ryan who did not expect Naynay to be able to kiss the hands of people who were nobody to him.
"It's okay. I wish you happiness, yes. Continue until the call of the Lord comes." The tears that fell from the eyes of the mother described how happy she was to hear that Naynay was married. The black mane of Naynay was wiped gently.
The atmosphere of the haru was gone when the sound of baby crying sounded very loud. The mother immediately ran to her room. Naynay himself frowned confusedly, as long as there were no babies here. The youngest was three years old who played in their car.
"Infant?" mumbling Naynay when the mother of the home came while holding a baby wrapped in a pink blanket.
"We're a newcomer, Miss."
Naynay shuffled to get closer to the orphanage mother who was already sitting in her chair. The baby had puffed cheeks, pretty curved eyebrows, and plump eyelashes.
"That morning the children shouted, saying there was a baby in the cardboard at the door. Aunt checked and it turned out to be true. Abis was Auntie taking him to the puskesmas in front, but the doctor said he was fine. It's estimated to be about two months old." The mother of the parlour swung the little body of the baby.
"He's a girl?" asked Naynay while gently rubbing the baby's white puffed cheeks. The mother nodded in confirming.
"Nay can carry?" All eyes there immediately rounded hearing the bumil's request.
Realizing the four people were hesitant, Naynay immediately took the baby girl from the mother's arms. Naynay's hand movements are not stiff at all, even looking like a woman who is used to taking care of babies.
"Nay has often carried a baby, carrying his son papa's sister!" naynay said she mentioned her three-month-old little cousin.
Seeing Naynay who was smiling while rubbing the baby's cheeks, made Afif's feelings jumbled. His wife managed to melt his heart with only small deeds but touched to the deepest heart.
"Auntie bought her milk?" asked Naynay to the mother of the orphanage who had been staring at her since.
Naynay nodded and asked the mother to make milk for the baby girl. After her milk was ready, she took the baby to a chair in the backyard. There is a small garden there which is planted with various kinds of flowers. Before leaving, she kissed Afif's cheeks as fast as lightning so that her husband would not feel neglected.
"aaa.. You're up." Naynay was so happy when she found the baby girl awake. Naynay's chest thumped as the baby's tiny hand clasped his index finger. The baby's clear eyes also stared at Naynay with occasional gasping.
'What does the mother of this child think until she has the heart to throw away her own child?' Naynay's heart ached at the fate of this poor baby.
"If even if they get pregnant out of wedlock, they should be responsible, right!" naynay said as she tidied up the baby's hair. Maybe later he'll have curly hair.
"I could have asked Papa or Brother Afif to adopt you, but I doubt I can take care of you. I can still be called a child, it feels hard to take care of two children at once." Naynay kissed the two cheeks gently.
"If you want, I can do it." Afif's voice made Naynay turn to the right side.
Naynay grabbed the bottle and put it on the baby's already restless lips. After that Naynay looked at Afif who was already sitting next to him.
"Nay is afraid that she will not be able to care for two babies at once. Fear also can't be fair to both of them. Especially...." Naynay almost slipped, fortunately he realized before revealing his plan.
"Otherwhat? Continue saying!" afif orders with his eyes fixed on his wife. It was as if he had guessed that there was something Naynay was hiding.
"Especially if later his parents return," said Naynay a little nervous, but fortunately he got a reasonable reason.
Afif stood up with his flat face. "It's late afternoon, we have to go home." He left after saying that.
Naynay catches up with Afif after the adorable baby drains her milk. He handed the baby to the mother and kissed her before returning home.
On the way home, Naynay just kept quiet while leaning back in his chair. With her eyes closed, she felt her head move in a place that felt warm and comfortable. Naynay wrapped his hands around Afif's waist, who had already hugged him.
'Mama can only hope that if we leave later, your papa who now does not hate us. In any case, we are not worthy of him being so perfect and he can get the perfect woman anyway.' There is something that reinforces Naynay's plan to leave after her child is born.
Unknowingly, Naynay sobbed a little. Afif's white shirt was wet with tears. Afif suspected that his wife was sad because of the baby, so he calmed Naynay down by patting her gently on the back.
The two people sitting in front of there could only glance at each other. They struggled with their own thoughts.
