"Lake in!" there was a stern voice belonging to Arsen from inside the room, when Hanum knocked on the door.
Hanum opened the door slowly, then he entered by showing off his sweetest smile.
"Close door!" tell Arsen in a cold voice. The man did not even look towards Hanum.
The coldness shown by Arsen made Hanum's feelings even more uneasy. Positive thinking, which had stopped in his mind, immediately crashed changed with discomfort. The man's cold demeanor, made Hanum feel an aura that was more terrifying than a horror movie or even a haunted place.
"Emm, what did you tell me to come here, Sen?" ask Hanum. The woman's voice trembled slightly from feeling nervous.
"Call me, sir. Don't name it, 'cause we're not that close!" said Arsen who this time chose to look at Hanum. However, not an ordinary gaze or a gaze of love, but a cold gaze, like holding a rage.
"Oh, S-sorry! What's calling me, sir?" Hanum repeated the question.
"Calm down, Num! This is because in the office, so you should have called sir, to show some professionalism," Inner Hanum, was still trying to calm himself.
"What did you tell my wife?" the corner of Arsen's brows rose upwards, staring at Hanum with a cold and probing gaze.
Hanum immediately gasped in shock at Arsen's sudden question. His throat seemed to be stuck, so to swallow his own saliva, he had difficulty.
"Who-you mean what? What did I tell Zora?" Hanum didn't say your wife's word, as if the woman's mouth was reluctant to say it.
"Don't pretend not to know. Now explain what you told my wife!" arsen's voice began to rise.
"I didn't say anything, Sen! What the hell are you? he complained a no-no to you?"
"Call me sir, don't name me! Do you understand human language?" Arsen started talking sarcastically, making Hanum seem to not know the man in front of her right now. Because only this time did the man talk to her like that.
"Sen, we're just the two of us here. Why should it be so formal? We usually do __"
"I said, call me sir, yes sir! You really don't understand human language, do you?" arsen's voice began to rise, making Hanum squeak in shock and slightly retreat backwards.
"You don't divert the conversation. Now tell me, what did you tell my wife?"arsen's voice returned to normal, yet did not dissipate his cold aura at all.
"I didn't say anything, Sen," Hanum was still trying to deny.
"Sir Arsen! You hear me?" Arsen raised his voice again.
"I-yes, Sir. I really didn't say anything. Your wife must be complaining about something that's not true. He must have just wanted to get rid of me, because you haven't accepted me working here yet" Hanum said, starting to provoke Arsen.
Brakkkk
Arsen suddenly hit the table very hard, making Hanum squealed in shock. Arsen's gaze grew sharper, the man's face flushed red, and his jaw hardened. Even the man had already clenched both of his fists, a sign that the man was already very angry.
"Don't lie anymore, Hanum! Tell me, what did you tell my wife? Hurry along!" arsen's voice filled the room.
Hanum's face now looks pale like no blood at all. Many times the woman gulped down her own saliva, so afraid. His fear grew even more when he saw Arsen walking towards him.
"I-I'm not lying, Sen. I didn't say anything to Zora. You should have believed me instead of Zora, because you've known me longer than that woman," Hanum still tried to keep denying.
"That woman, my wife. Remember, she's my wife!" Arsen pressed the word wife right on Hanum's face. The man already did not care much anymore, Hanum who called out to him without frills pack again.
"I-iya, wife. I didn't say anything to her. She must have complained no-no, to get rid of me" Hanum said, feeling forced to mention your wife's words to the man she loved.
Arsen growling. Unknowingly, the man pushed Hanum's body against the wall, and the man's hand also firmly gripped the woman's chin.
"Sa-sickness, Sen!" hiss Hanum, grimacing in pain.
"How dare you say a no-no to my wife, huh! You __"
"What did I say wrong? I'm telling the truth, right?" Hanum began to raise his voice. Looks like the woman started getting hit by Arsen's bait.
"I also said that because she was too proud of her status to be your wife in front of me.Because she was proud she said that you and she had done a relationship like husband and wife. So, I'm just saying, if you want to do that with him not because of love, but because it's a pity not to take advantage of your relationship status without doing anything," Hanum continued.
"How dare you say that! Know what you're feeling about me, huh?" arsen's emotions went up again. He again tightened his grip on Hanum's chin. The man seemed to have forgotten his principle of not wanting to be rude to a woman.
"S-Sen, sick! please let go of your hand!" hanum Narrates.
Arsen suddenly released his grip with a slight jerk, making Hanum grimace again, feeling pain.
"You're really outrageous, Hanum. What's wrong with her being proud of her status as my wife? Isn't she really my wife? He is very - very worthy to say it, because that is the reality. That's inappropriate, you're saying that I love you, because the truth isn't like that!" said Arsen cynically.
"Sen, is this really you? Why can you talk this long? Your words really hurt. So, what do you mean, who still wants to help me get away from Om Damian and Dimas? not because you still care about me?" hanum's eyes began to glaze over.
Arsen clucked, then shook his head, then smiled cynically.
"I help you and care about you, it doesn't mean I love you. I purely just want to help you, because I know that all this time you were only used by the two of them. But, it turns out that you have misinterpreted my kindness. Again, I want to make it clear to you, Hanum, I don't love you at all. So stop hoping!" arsen firmly with a fiery tone.
Tears began to flow out of Hanum's eyes. The woman shook her head, trying not to believe it.
"Well, you don't love me, but do you love Zora? No right? Aren't you still looking for that girl in your childhood? I told Zora earlier, that she will definitely leave you, once you find your little girl. I'm right, aren't I?"
"Your asshole! How dare you say that to my wife!" arsen's hand involuntarily strangled Hanum's neck. The man's teeth clashed against each other, his anger hurt.
"To-please let go of your hand, Sen!" said Hanum who started to feel tight to breathe.
Arsen again jerked as he let go of his hand, making Hanum cough.
"Sen, why are you being so rude like this? Isn't what I said right?" hanum's voice was soft and loud.
"You know nothing, Num. You should be thinking why I could touch Zora, even so many times. You know for yourself, right how I am? If you say, I'm just making use of status, you're wrong. I could've done it to you in the past, used you to love me so much. If I wanted to, you would have given it to me without coercion, right? But I didn't do it because I'm not a depraved man and don't love you." Arsen paused for a moment to take a pause while breathing oxygen to replenish the cavities of his lungs that had begun to empty.
"You already know me, you should know why I've done it to Zora" the man continued.
Hanum's eyes were patterned, his lower jaw was pulled down, as the woman began to notice something. "Don't tell me that you already love Zora, Sen!" hanum asked, with a trembling voice.
"You think?" ask Arsen back.
"I-I can't believe it.Don't you love that girl so much in your childhood? Or maybe ...." Hanum hung up his words, because the sentence he wanted to say, was suddenly stuck in the throat.
"Yes, she's the girl I've been looking for all this time. He is Raraku!" concluded Arsen, making Hanum slumped and sat on the floor.
"I-that means I really don't have a chance anymore" Hanum murmured with tears rolling back down her cheeks.
