Chapter 6 Oddity

When the heart is disappointed, all hope is lost leaving a heart-wrenching scar. However, that didn't apply to Anna when the prison guard said Jerry didn't want to meet. Jay convinced the prison guards not to riot. In the end, the prison guards permit, provided that one person enters.

Jay is worried about Anna. He did not want to let the girl go in alone, plus Anna's pale face that did not fade. Jay pleaded with the prison guards, but was not allowed. Anna gave Jay a code so he wouldn't have to worry. He insists on going inside, though Jay objected. The man gave up. Who could block Anna's stubbornness? Jay hoped nothing bad happened to the girl.

Anna's gaze was sharp, when meeting Jerry. The man with the face bre***** with the tattoo on his hand, did not make Anna's heart shrink. The girl knows how to deal with a guy like Jerry. Anna's gaze grew sharper, as if swallowing her alive. There was no fear in Jerry's face. The man underestimated Anna. The longer, the girl growled, she could not hide her irritation.

When Jerry recalled what he had done, his heart exploded. Every now and then, he wanted to scratch or swallow the man alive. Anna clutched Jerry's collar, but the man smiled sinisterly. He threw out a spit, making Anna rise in blood for a moment. Successfully upsetting Anna, Jerry laughed in satisfaction. This guy's crazy. Anna tightened her grip, she didn't care Jerry was in pain. Instantly, he realized. Anna released her grip, then grinned.

"My hands are too dirty for someone like you" Anna said. "I hope you stay here forever" whispered Anna.

"Haha... So, you're threatening me with an alienated girl, Miss Anna?" said Jerry.

"You know me? I haven't told you my name."

"Come here! Come nearer here! I'm gonna whisper something to you" said Jerry. However, Anna is not stupid because she knows who to deal with.

"Do you want to bite my ear and make me helpless in front of you? I'm not that stupid" Anna said. Jerry is surprised Anna knows his plan.

"Haha... Turns out, you're so smart." You exceeded my expectations."

"Why would you do that to my company?"

"For pleasure, maybe."

"Don't think me stupid! You can fool everyone, but not for me. Someone must have told you. Tell me, who is he!?"

"I'm moving on my own. Even though someone else told me to, there's no evidence."

"Sorry, miss your visiting time is up" said a prison guard. Anna came in vain. He did not find the information he wanted. The girl sighed.

"Please give me 5 more minutes!" anna told the prison guards.

"1 minute. No more than that."

"All right," said Anna. Since Anna didn't have much time, she wanted to ask one thing.

"What does this have to do with insiders?" ask Anna. He took a breath. "What's that guy, the guy I know?" ask again. Jerry cornered. The man walked over to Anna.

"Pigeon white, but wolf's slick," whispered Jerry.

"Huh? Who you mean?" ask Anna. Jerry shrugged his shoulders. The prison guards warned Anna again. The girl left Jerry. Many questions still stuck to his head. Jay saw Anna.

"Anna!" call Jay. He waved his hand. Anna smiled, but suddenly her head was dizzy. Increasingly, his gaze blackened. He lost consciousness.

When Anna woke up, she felt a stinging scent. He could guess where he was at the moment. As if dejavu, he saw Jay who was beside him, worried about him.

"Jay!"

"Anna! How are you still sick?"

"No. How long have I been unconscious?"

"1 hour" Jay answered. Anna sighed.

"But there's a problem."

"What's wrong? Is my illness worse?" ask Anna.

"Not that."

"Then what?"

"Jerry is dead. I saw the news on my phone."

"What did you say? How and at what time did he die?"

"About half an hour ago. He committed suicide."

"Can't be. This must be a lie. How can..." Anna could not believe what she was hearing.

"Have you confirmed it?"

"I've searched every news many times. Almost all the news, showing the same thing," said Jay.

"He cannot commit suicide. There must be a mastermind behind it" Anna said.

"If that's true, I think it's dangerous for you. I want you out of this. Let me figure out what happened to Jerry."

"Anna, listen to me! You have to take care of your health. If you keep thinking about it, you won't be able to catch the real culprit."

"You missed me?" ask Zion flatly.

"I didn't. Why should?" said Anna pretending. Zion sighed.

"What's wrong?" ask Anna. He smelled something wrong from Zion. "Oh yeah, you don't want to comfort me? Jerry is dead" asked Anna.

"There's him here to cheer you up," Zion glanced at Jay. Actually, he didn't want to show his jealousy in front of Anna.

"You're not what you used to be. Is there a problem?" Anna is pretty sure that something happened to Zion. Zion did not answer. "Do you know where I'm from? I didn't tell you," she asked.

"So I called you, but he picked it up."

"I think I should go. Take good care of yourself" Zion said. The man rushed away. Zion's behavior is different than usual. Anna sad.

"You scared me. If you want to be angry, get angry! If you want to be sad, cry. Don't be like this!" exclaim Anna. He didn't feel like he was shedding tears. Zion's heart was sliced when she saw Anna crying.

"I'm sorry," Zion hugged Anna. He stroked Anna's hair which looked dull.

"When was the last time you shampooed?"

"Maybe two days ago."

"What?" Zion wiped the hand that came into contact with Anna's hair. Anna laughed at Zion's behavior.

"Basic, miss suck! Next time, I'll wear gloves when I touch your hair" Zion said. Anna was delighted to see Zion return as before. Slowly, Zion rubbed Anna's head gently. Both eyes stared at each other. Suddenly there was Zion's desire to kiss her, but Anna knocked the man's forehead.

"Basic fool!" said Anna.

"Don't you have to go?" ask Jay. He is disturbed by the presence of Zion.

"I changed my mind. I want to accompany this stupid girl," Zion smiled. This time, he clasped Anna's hand with all the feelings he had. Anna let. He missed Zion a lot the last few days.

"He is my future wife. So, you better go," Jay stared intently at Zion.

"It's still a wife, right? Not your wife" Zion sneered.

"So, don't pretend!" Zion's like putting Jay down. Jay does not accept his behavior.

"I can do anything to make you disappear from this world. Aren't you afraid of me?" threatening Jay. He clutched Zion's collar.

"Do you like my gift?"

"Or will I give you my gift again?" Zion smiled sweetly. Anna is speechless. His heart rumbled, as if to war. Zion smiled back. Anna felt Zion was so sweet.
