The two of them immediately got up from their seats. Evelyne's questioning gaze made her second breath choked especially Leonard who was cursing at her for being too careless.

"Evelynes! It's not entirely your fault" Leonard's neighbor approached, as did Maxwell, who was silent, giving Leonard a chance to speak.

Evelyne was silent with her eyes closed. Both of his hands were squeezing Maxwell's jacket which was seen entering his soul.
