“Ahh... ssshhhh... sorry sir, I will treat, arhhhkkk I never thought it would hurt like this,” said Dev hissing in pain.

Mike and Adam enter the room and approach Dev, causing Dev to stare resentfully at them.

“Dev,” exclaimed the two of them with panicked faces, Mike immediately examined Dev's injured body as well as Adam's.

“Who are you? What do you want my daughter-in-law huh?” said Mr. Kevin who thought that they were the men of the citizens to back tease the man, even Mr. Kevin to stand in front of Dev and slightly push the two people.

“What ? Son-in-law?” adam and Mike scream when they hear the man call Dev his son-in-law.

“Iya why huh..?” said Mr. Kevin snorted annoyed because they came to arrive.

Mr. Kevin put on his fierce face, he was exactly like an eagle who was ready to pounce on his prey if he dared to disturb his son.

“Eh.. tu..tuan ki..we don't want to do anything, in.. he made us masters, sir,” said Adam whose guts suddenly shriveled to see the pompousness of Mr. Kevin let alone the large body of the muscular Mr. Kevin made them really scared.

Somehow Dev felt happy when he saw Mr. Kevin protecting him like that, he felt warm in his heart, really a feeling that he had never felt before.

Hearing that made them all speechless, how the nurse could be that rude even though the nurse who helped Lisa was very gentle.

“dare once he,” said Dev in an annoyed tone , hearing Dev's upset voice made Mike and Adam wanti if the man was frayed because Dev was very sensitive.

Mike and Adam stared at each other at the interaction between Dev and Mr. Kevin, really new things they saw from the man.

Mike bandaged Dev's wound without saying much because seeing Dev's face alone had shrunk his guts to ask and it didn't seem like the right time except, Dev himself spoke.

“Mike is the first time, this is the first time they failed to come out,” said Dev made Mike suddenly speechless and looked at Dev with a look of disbelief.

“A...did you say Dev?” the one who spoke was not Mike but Adam who had just finished administration and walked into the room while bringing what Mike had asked for.
