Chapter 22

Bryan carries Aya's body into the main house. While Lusi was surprised when he saw his young master carrying Aya's body.

"What's wrong with Miss Mister?," asked Susi worriedly.

"She was just exhausted, so I had to take her to the room immediately for a break. Carefully Bryan began to climb the stairs to his room.

Bryan stared at Aya's face. Then he began to cover Aya's body.

"Sleep, I'll be with you my ugly girl" said Bryan, who had climbed into his bed following Aya.

Aya slowly opened her eyes when thirst afflicted her. He felt his body was so long, but it also felt heavy. It was even hard for him to move it.

Until the eyes were opened perfectly, the first thing that became his sight was the face of Bryan who was so close to him.

Aya was silent for a moment staring at the handsome face that was right in front of her face.

"Am I dreaming" said Aya still staring at Bryan's face. Aya was about to touch Bryan's face to make sure. But suddenly Bryan's eyes that had been closed were now open making Aya so surprised.

So did Brayn, but they fell silent without saying a word. They were silent and looked at each other.

"Yes." Call Bryan still staring at Aya's face. This was the first time Bryan had called Aya by her name.

And that made Aya think that she was dreaming. A smile was clearly visible from Bryan's sight.

"It turns out this is just a dream," said Aya chuckled to herself. He thought that if this was real, Bryan would never call himself by his name.

But Aya was so surprised when suddenly Bryan pulled her body and hugged her.

Aya simply blinked her eyes not believing whether this was real or not.

"Thank God you're okay, I'm so worried about you ugly girl," Bryan said, making Aya realize that this isn't a dream.

Aya immediately tried to let go of Bryan's embrace, but she felt her strength was so weak.

"Other times if you can't swim don't have to swim. You're just freaking me out." Bryan hugged Aya.

Aya tried to remember again after hearing her husband's words. Aya remembered her being plunged into the pool during a reunion event at her campus.

"Bryan let me go" said Aya lirih.

Realizing he hugged Aya, Bryan finally let go of his embrace and looked so awkward at this time.

"Are you the one who saved me Bryan?" asked Aya curiously.

Bryan quickly denied it.

"No, how could I have saved you that ugly girl" Bryan said.

I don't know why there was a sense of disappointment when Bryan said it wasn't him who saved him. How could Bryan possibly be that noble to her, Aya thought.

"Oh" he said disappointed. "Then did Adrian save me?. If it is tomorrow I will meet him and thank him" Aya said later.

"No, you can't see Adrian, you're still weak and I don't allow it" Bryan said. Hearing Aya pronounce Adrian's name made him remember Adrian who said that he had liked Aya, and Bryan could also see the look of Adrian's love when it was changed sick at that time. And it made Bryan feel so upset.

Aya frowned in wonder. "Why should I ask your permission?. We always do things without each other's permission. Why all of a sudden now do I have to ask Bryan for permission?. We are not a couple like the others" said Aya.

I don't know why Aya was so disappointed with Bryan's words. Aya concludes that Bryan did all of that out of fear for his father-in-law.

"Yes-yes I know you love your lover so much. How could you possibly be so worried about me?!, Alright then, I will do your saying, You are satisfied?!," Ketus Aya. Then he tried to sit down.

"What do you want?!."

"I'm thirsty Bryan, I want to take some water" Aya said without looking at Bryan.

"Stop there!, Let me take it," said Bryan. Back to make Aya surprised.

"You don't think anything, your body is still weak. Later if there's anything with you you know yourself Papa will definitely scold me later," said Bryan who had left. Now He walks to fetch the white water that is on the nightstand.

While Aya was annoyed by Bryan's words. But he also felt his body that was so limp at this moment. He obeyed Bryan's orders.

"Drink!," said Bryan thrusting a glass of water at Aya.

Aya immediately drank the water to quell the feeling of thirst that soaked her throat.

"Thank you" Aya said after giving back the glass she held to Bryan.

"Now go to sleep so you can recover. I don't want Papa coming home tomorrow you look camped. He will definitely blame me later," Bryan said then walking back to his place.

Then he laid his body beside Aya.

"Hurry to sleep!" Bryan ordered.

"Yes-yes!." Aya also laid her body. They also sleep with their backs on each other. Until the night was getting late and brought both of them asleep in their sleep.

The next day, Bryan did not go to his office, he reasoned to Aya that his Papa would be home today.

Before that, he would not care if his father came home from abroad. That was the only reason for his wife.

After waking up this morning, Aya felt much better than last night. He wanted to get out of his bed to clean himself into the bathroom.

"Where are you going?!" Said Bryan who realized Aya was about to get out of bed.

Previously Bryan only played his phone and occasionally sipped coffee brought by the waiter this morning. His gaze shifted to the figure of the girl in his bed when he saw the movement of his wife.

Hearing Bryan suddenly ask him made Aya roll her eyes off guard.

"Are you going to pee I have to ask you for permission?!," Upset Aya. Wasn't her husband focused on his phone?.

"Can you do it yourself?" asked Bryan who was about to move but was prevented by Aya.

"Stop!, stop there Bryan. I'm not that weak, my body wasn't as hot as last night. So I can do it alone," Aya said, making Bryan sit back and watch Aya begin to enter the bathroom.

In the bathroom Aya was really upset with her husband's behavior this morning. Because suddenly Bryan did not allow himself to do anything.

He started to open one by one his clothes. Then He again saw a faint reddish mark that he could still see.

Aya remembered that it was not because of insects but because of her husband.

"I forgot to ask Bryan this, just look at what I'm going to do to you later!," said Aya so upset considering Bryan was lying to her.
