Twelve o'clock at midnight, Zoya awakens from her sleep. Cold sweat soaked his forehead and temples superbly while his eyes opened with a breath of gasp.
Again and again, this is the second night Zoya dreams the same. The dream that made him so claustrophobic and also fearful. Under the dominating subconscious; Zoya sees herself standing on the edge of a ravine that is split with an invisible base due to its depth, but Zoya can still see on the other side across there.
In the dream, Zoya climbs the cliff on her own accord. He also walked slowly until he managed to stand on top of the peak.
At first Zoya enjoys her towering existence up there, taking her time to gaze at the blue sky and the beautiful appearance of the clouds, even in her faint sense of smell, Zoya can still breathe in the fresh scent of air around her.
But as he circled around, Zoya was stunned as she looked far ahead, someone she knew standing in the same position as her.
Zen was on the other side, across there.
At first Zoya just kept glued to look at Zen. Zoya just enjoys the atmosphere while looking at the lover she has longed for. The face of the man she wanted to touch. Zoya also watches Zen's steps progressively approaching the edge of the cliff.
Realizing Zen across the street is doing the same thing as her, in her dream, Zoya starts waving and keeps calling Zen's name, Zoya tries to get Zen's attention to look at her, but again Zen just stepped up and got closer to the edge, until Zoya finally shouted hysterically as Zen dropped himself into a dark and deep abyss.
Zoya is choked up, barely able to breathe as she watches Zen fall for granted in front of her. Everything feels real, even the pain is real. As of this moment, Zoya cried sobbing feeling the pain in her chest.
He felt a great sadness as a result of his dream. A dream that made him not dare to continue sleeping. Although this is her second dream, it still has the same effect on Zoya. Yes, Zoya is scared.
Once, he could still think of it as a terrifying sleeping flower. But the second? Zoya doesn't know what to mean. Is this a sign? or is..
What is certain is that the dream makes Zoya really horrified and also afraid. He was even afraid to close his eyes.Fear that if he fell back asleep, then he would get a dream that was more frightening than seeing Zen who dropped just like that, really. It was truly a frightening thing to witness whether in a dream or not.
Zoya sits on the bed pressing to a corner to make herself feel better. He pulled up his legs and wrapped his hands around his knees. He was still shaking, occasionally rubbing his forehead that was still sweating, he tried to regulate his breathing which was still chasing with the rhythm of his heartbeat.
Zoya also linked her fingers to prayer, He prayed; may everything be just a dream and her Zen always be fine.
After her breathing regained order, Zoya walked down from the bed. He poured water into a glass and then spent it in one gulp, then turned on the fireplace that had room to warm a little from the cold air that almost froze the bones.
Zoya should have been sleeping soundly after the intense training she and her colleagues had been doing the past few days, resting herself from so much preparation she had to do alone. His body that felt crumpled dimly should be able to wrap his consciousness and bring his sleep so comfortably.
But in reality, the scary dream even jolts her hard to the surface replacing the fatigue incarnated into an inevitable fear.
Long enough Zoya silently stared at the loud flame in her furnace. He missed Zen.
Deep inside the bottom of her heart, Zoya wants Zen to be by her side.
"I miss you, sister, very." she said again, Zoya put her head in the hand of the sofa. He thought back to the days he and Zen had spent together. The days they filled with jokes and laughter even love. Those days too,..
"Do you also feel it right now, brother? I need you, I need you so much."
...To esokan......
With her head still circling, Zoya revisits the building that she will use as her concert venue.
"How's Zoya, do you like the arrangement?"
Cassian has put up Zoya's banners and posters in and around the building, almost everything she does is what Zoya wants.
"i like. You've been working hard Cass, thank's."
Once again Zoya circulated her gaze, scrutinizing everything more closely. Starting from the arrangement of decorations and also other detailed things. "Zoya, if anything is lacking, just say it. I'm gonna change that right away, this is your first concert, I don't want you to feel like you're lacking, everything has to be perfect."
"Nothing, Cass. Everything has gone the way I wanted, even more than I expected, and for this thank you too. I really like it." said Zoya again showed the white rose decoration that adorns each part of the row of chairs that will be filled by the invitees later.
"Thank God if you like Zoya. O'ya you want something? maybe Coffee ?" haggard Cassian.
"No, thank you. You just buy it for yourself, I want a little break." Zoya waved her hand letting Cassian go.
After Cassian disappears from one of the building's doors, Zoya drops herself onto one of the chairs. He drowned himself in silence while waiting for the pain that hit his head to go away.
Zoya felt like she was on a roller coaster, almost collapsing in front of Cassian, fortunately the man quickly left, otherwise..
"Citya, Zoya.. Hey. are you okay?" Cassian claps Zoya's hands to wake her up. "Zoya ise.. You,-
"I'm fine Cass, just a little tired" said Zoya with her mouth choked in her headache. "Hey, I told you I didn't want to, Zoya pointed at the white glass covered in front of her.
"I, no." - denied Cassian shook her head.
Zoya breathed heavily. There was clearly only an empty bench in front of him, but now?
Zoya takes the glass and feels the heat from the outside, which indicates the drink is still new. "You sure you didn't buy it?" ask Zoya again with a grimacing face.
"Really, not me. You said you didn't want to, so-
"Hmmm. Never mind. Please throw it away for me. I can't drink something that's not obvious, can I? in times like these, wouldn't it be better to be careful?"
"I agree with you. All right, here, I'll throw it away for you." Cassian takes the glass from Zoya's hand, then opens the lid with a small murmur after smelling the drink,
"Brown milk?"
"After you throw that away, can you meet the professor for me? there's a file I have to sign, please get it for me." Zoya asked, grimacing once again withstanding the bang that kept hitting her head in a row even stronger than before.
"alright. I'll do it. Are you okay with me living here alone? if you want me to,-
"It's okay Cass, you better hurry, otherwise you won't meet the professor" Zoya again reminded Cassian.
"mmm. All right then. I'll be right back, call me if you need anything else." Cassian said, looking worried at Zoya's tired face.
"Hm."
All Zoya needs right now is a calmness and also a little time to ease the dizziness that strikes her suddenly, until,-
BRUUUUUKK...
Zoya is unsteady and feels her body hitting something hard enough, she faintly hears her name on the call, then she starts to become unconscious.
