Zen could not help but tap his fingers on the table waiting with mixed feelings. Zen received a call from his confidants that they found something from the search over the past few days, and now he is waiting for news of what will be delivered to him.
Now Zen can only wait with restless, restless but hopeful feelings, part of him now feels fragile. He could only pray that this time, he could get a breath of fresh air after a wait that was enough to make him feel more than frustrated.
If Zoya were just his little sister, Zen might not be like this. Maybe he will only be worried about Zoya with clear boundaries, as an older brother.
But now, Zoya is not only a little sister, but also her first love, her lover, her soulmate, and now Zoya is more than enough to put Zen on the brink of collapse. Zen will never be able to if Zoya goes away from her for longer, disappears from her circle, and leaves everything as it is today, letting Zen endure all by himself in a limitless void.
It's enough Zen feels like numbness from Zoya's departure, he doesn't want to make everything more ruined than he can accept. Zen will fix everything, Zen will make Zoya back to his side and will never let go even for a second.
While dissolving in a sense that never reached its meeting point, Zen awoke as a result of a knock on the door of his room.
"Excuse me sir, there's a guest for you" the secretary's voice interrupted. "Let them in" said Zen with an excited feeling.
After his secretary disappeared behind the door, two men dressed in all black, entered with an envelope in his hand.
Zen immediately asked what they wanted to say, "Did you guys find anything?" zen asked more enthusiastically than he had imagined.
"So far, we've found two transactions that are a little awkward and might be helpful to you" said one of the handing over the large brown envelope.
"Explain me!" pinta Zen again opened the envelope in her hand. "The last two days we got proof of a transaction made by Mr. Rehan. At first we thought it was a regular business transaction, given the sizeable amount.
But after we investigated, the account is a business account held by Ms. Zoya as one of the executives in the company while on duty in Bali."- Zen nodded slightly starting to digest what the detective said.
"Then, after a while there was no transaction from the account, we found on the same date, just as Miss Zoya had disappeared, there are transactions with a large enough nominal through this account, and we get more transactions after that,-"
"The cost of airline tickets, hotels in country A, lodging in country B, and also other transactions in country B." Zen interrupted his dictive.
"Yes sir. A few days ago, a transaction with a large enough nominal was sent back from Mr. Rehan's personal account. So we thought..
"Enough. I know you mean,- Zen raised his hand, gave the code. "It was Dady who hid Zoya's whereabouts from me!" he said again to clarify everything.
Zen was like chewing on a bitter pill that almost made his tongue cackle.
He had already gotten the reason why all this time he could not find Zoya, all because of Dady's interference in it.
If Dady knows where Zoya is but keeps it a secret, then Mollie is doing the same to Zen.
That reality even slapped Zen twice as fierce. The old man who had loved her so much, instead did this to her. Huh!
Impossible if they don't do that. Zen should have known that, all this time he was too naive.
How can he expect Mollie, or Dady to side with him while being the reason for Zoya's departure. Really stupid, Zen. This is the real reason.
"Is this all you get? there's nothing else?" tanya Zen was even colder approaching the word cynical.
"We also get evidence of an email sent through Ms. Zoya's account confirming her current place of existence. We've made a detailed copy of it as per your request." Clearly again, with lips turned almost smile proud of the achievements they got.
"alright. You guys can go. I'll send the payment to your account after this" Zen said, again closing the meeting. Finding two opposing statements made Zen silent in concern.
It should be, Zen was happy to have discovered Zoya's whereabouts. Supposedly, all Zen did now was to immediately go and get Zoya back.
But why at the moment should he be sure, but again he again hesitated with his decision. He doubts whether he should take Zoya or let Zoya. Is this really what he wants? is this really what Zoya wants? for them? for their relationship?
What should Zen do?
After thinking for quite a while, logic jolted Zen so fiercely. Zen closes the laptop, takes the keys to his car and leaves the office.
Before going to get Zoya back, Zen must find the answer, he must make sure everything is back in place. Tampa the right answer, then Zen can not do what he thinks is right.
He will not make any more mistakes this time, Zen will make sure of it, and everything must be with the permission of Dady and Mollie. Tampa blessing them, then what Zen will do will certainly be in vain.
If you want to get sweet fruit, do not we have to make sure if the tree will indeed give the fruit we want?
That's why Zen is here now,-
With a professional way of driving, Zen parked the special jaguar-series car almost perfectly in place. He stared at the skyscraper in front of him, steadied his resolve and stepped in through the tight guarding door after his status was confirmed.
"I want to meet Rehan Wijaya" Zen said at the reception on the first floor, which conveyed all the information up to the highest floor. "Have you made an appointment before, sir?" ask her kindly to Zen. "No. Just tell me Zen Mahendra wants to meet."
The woman did as Zen ordered, and then shut down the algae.
"Pak Rehan is attending a meeting right now, but he asks you to wait in his room. Please go to the elevator in the corner, the staff there will deliver you." he explained again on Zen.
Zen passed following the instructions that had been given.
In less than five minutes, Zen was already on the thirty floor, where his Dady room was located. This is not the first time for Zen, so he knows where to go if he wants to find the room of the main director of the company.
"Master, please." Dina welcomed Zen's arrival, both Dina and Zen, they had met before. "Do you want me to make you a drink?" bargain Dina after driving Zen into his superior room. "No, thank you." declined Zen kindly. Afterwards Dina left Zen waiting alone.
Zen waited long enough for his Dady to finish the meeting, if Zen was not wrong, then now exactly one hour has Zen to stay alone in the room.
Suddenly the door of the room opened in a dramatic way.
"You looking for me Son?" rehan asked walking in while removing Jas and loosening the tie around his neck.
"True Dad. I want to see you." replied Zen. Rehan sat cross-legged in front of Zen giving him the space and time he needed. "Say!"
"I won't ask why Dad or Mollie hid Zo'e from me, I don't want that excuse. I'm just here to say that I'm going to go see Zo'e and ask him once more to be by my side" Zen said with overstated confidence.
"You know what Angel's dream is, Son?" Rehan responded with his leisure. "Have you ever asked even yourself why Angel is still here when it's clear she can go wherever she wants with the talent she has? though clearly his dream is to show how valuable he is to have in someone who has long broken his heart. Did you ever think of that Son?"
Zen silently listened to Rehan's words. During this time he was so selfish thinking about himself and his happiness, he only thought if Zoya was by his side then everything would be fine. He forgot to ask if Zoya had been happy with him, being his girlfriend.
"Dad, me,-
"No Son. It's not your fault if that's what you think. It's my fault, Dady. Dad, too scared to let Angel go far away, so Dad broke his wings first."
"Dad thought Angel had been happy with us, with what Dad gave her, the freedom to do the job she liked, Dad thought everything would make her happy, until one day you come back here, make Angel again find his lost smile. Dad thinks everything will be fine, Angel will be happy again. But Dad was wrong. Dad forgot to ask, is this all Angel really wants." Rehan sighed heavily, once again staring at Zen with my eyes full of consideration.
"Angel is in Sweden. Soon she will be holding her solo concert, one of her little dreams. Dad won't stand in the way of seeing Angel if that's what you want, but Dad doesn't ask until Angel finishes what he started. At least we can see her happily doing what Angel really likes."
"Dad, just hope you and Angel are happy Son, whatever Zoya decides Dad hopes you can take it." Rehan told Zen.
"I'll do as Dad asks. I'm sorry Dad." Zen said in earnest.
"No Son. It's not your fault. Let's both learn to appreciate the feelings and desires of others, especially those we love." Rehan smiled wilfully at Zen. He was glad to be able to say what he should have told his son.
"Thank you Dad, this time I won't let Zo'e down again." Zen promised.
"That's what you said, Son! Dad hopes you do, and for starters, you'd better not see that woman again for any reason, if you really want to make Angel happy." Rehan recalls.
"Woman, I mean Dad..?"
"The woman who lives next door to your condo, Dad's been putting her back where she belongs."
