Previously Ken only wanted to go out to buy drinks and also some snacks for them, which is why he asked Shreya to wait. But since the girl had followed him, there was no reason for him to go back there. Stupid time with Leon and his match, after all, Ken is just as dislikeful as Shreya.

The book is just an excuse, even from the beginning Ken did not really focus on reading the book that is his favorite.
