Deon waited for Izza in the car while the woman chatted with some of the caretakers and the owner of the parlor after the funeral was over. Not long after, the woman returned to the car with a face that could not hide the sadness.

"Don't be sad. Pray that he will be calm in nature" said Deon.

Izza nodded and looked at the man sitting beside him. "Yes." Yeah."

Deon immediately started the engine of the car, and began to press the gas pedal leaving the TPU parking lot where the last resting place of the caretaker who nurtured Izza.

"Why do you claim to be my husband in front of them?" Izza's question split the silence of the way home.

Deon glanced at Izza at a glance, before he focused again on the road.

Deon's answer makes sense. But he became reminded of his chat earlier with the caretakers of the house.

"The parlour mother offered me to be the caretaker there."

The man still didn't expect Adell to do this to him. Maybe this is why Adell doesn't want to have children.

Instead of being angry and not accepting, Adell smiled and even laughed. That was enough to amaze Deon and Izza.

Adell walked past them towards the room as if nothing had happened. Three minutes later Adell came out of the room with a suitcase.

Adell waved his hand before leaving from there. Deon didn't say a word at all. Nor did it prevent Adell's departure. I don't know, he doesn't know what to do now. He chose to go into his room, leaving Izza alone.
