Relieved.
I said that one word with great relief. Finally, on March 21st, I completed a four-day school exam.
All subjects have been tested in a short period of time. Although, in one day I have to dwell on the monitor screen for approximately four hours.
Imagine, four hours!
Why does the test today have to be all online? Why not just manual? Why use a computer or laptop? I miss exams with paper and pencil like I did in elementary school and junior high school. But even if I wished, it wouldn't be possible again.
This is the age of informatics where all things are sophisticated and done online. Shopping can be done online, right? Wishing things were as they used to be is impossible. Like you were expecting him but he was staring at someone else.
Ah sorry, don't bother please.
It's so cold today. It has entered the rainy season so the air feels very humid and so cold. I pressed the jacket I was wearing while walking out of the school area. Several times my classmates greeted me, which I then replied with a nod.
I walked, half running towards the school gate. It was cold this afternoon.
"Key?"
I'm turning. Kevin's there, in front of the school gate.
Is he really waiting for me?
In class, Kevin said he would wait for me to come home together. But I didn't know he was really waiting for me. During these school exams, I did come home with Kevin a lot. Besides because I don't have a ride home, actually the direction of our house is the same.
"You haven't come home yet?" I asked. I thought Kevin was going home first considering he had finished the exam fifteen minutes ahead of me.
Kevin laughs. He shakes in disbelief.
"Lu what the hell is Kei? I said we were back together. I can't possibly leave you." Said.
I blinked. "Who knows."
Kevin laughed again. He handed me the helmet and then put on his own helmet.
"You want to go home?" Ask Kevin again. He's staring.
I was silent for a moment.
"I'm actually looking for a book in the store." I said. I remember there was a novel by my favorite author just released. I think I want to buy.
"Jude, we'll stop by the bookstore first."
I'm shaking. "Not to Vin. Ntar bothers you."
Kevin smiles. "It's okay Kei. Seriously." His word. "I'm also looking for a new One Piece comic. Mumpung has been using it."
I looked at Kevin. "So seriously okay?" I asked again to make sure. Afraid that I'd really make it bother.
Kevin nodded.
Finally I sighed and agreed to Kevin's invitation to stop by the bookstore.
~♡.♡.♡~
The atmosphere of the bookstore did not seem too crowded. Understandably, I have said before that in this era everything is done online. So maybe some people feel better reading a book from an app than from the original book. In retrospect, reading in the book was fun. But nevermind.
Some of the children I saw were standing in a line of children's books. Meanwhile, there were some busy men in the row of comics. I wonder, why do most men like to read comics? I also love reading comics. I also like to read novels. Rarely do people like to read novels. They prefer to read comics.
Except Nenra. Because he likes to read encyclopedia books.
Yeah, not just Nenra.
There are also men who like to read novels or other knowledge books. Most of the guys like to read comics. Not all, but 80% of their species like to read comics. The rest? You're magics.
"Gue next to ya Kei? Later if you hope, just wait for me in the parking lot."
I'm nodding. Soon Kevin then darted towards the comics that lined up neatly. I myself then headed to the shelf that compiled hundreds of novel titles. Some shelves are arranged by genre and some famous novels are arranged based on the author.
I started looking. In the beginning, I stepped into the suggested row of novels. There is a horror novel title booming. The novel written by Arumi E was filmed this year. Exactly March 5th. I had read the novel through the previous application, but there was a section in chapters 16 to 45 that was removed for printing purposes.
I picked up a novel with the cover of some of the top artists. Even though the film has already aired, I still want to read the novel. You see, from what I know, there are many bonus stories in it.
I went back in search of the fiction book I dreamed of. And in a corner, I found his whereabouts. I picked up the book and headed straight to the cashier. I don't want to look around anymore. Because if I linger there, then my savings will be used to buy novels there.
Kevin was at the checkout first. He seemed to receive plastic containing the comics he bought. The young man looked at me and smiled.
I returned Kevin's smile while handing over two books of my choice to the cashier.
"You still want to read that book?" Ask Kevin. He looked at the book by Arumi E that I picked up.
I'm nodding. "Why?"
Kevin fell silent. "The film is already live. I watched Rama at the cinema." Said Kevin. He's staring. "Ending it later---"
"Ssssuuhhh.." I pat Kevin on the cheek. It's so good that he wants to tell me the ending of a novel I haven't read until the end.
"I love reading the novels, so don't spoilers." I said. I saw Kevin gawking for a while before nodding.
"Reflex, sorry."
I just laughed softly. Kevin is really weird.
After paying for my novel, we left the bookstore. I saw the clock was three o'clock. I think I spent a lot of time in the store. Because from the school, the clock still shows at two noon more than fifteen minutes.
"Go home?" Kevin asked. He's staring. Without answering, I nodded. I think Kevin understood because then he put the bike on our way home.
...
"Thank you Vin." My word. We arrived right in front of my gate.
Kevin nodded. He waved his hand and then passed away on his bike. I stared at the silhouette of my classmate until it disappeared at the turn of the complex.
I took a breath.
Suddenly I miss Nenra.
He should be home tonight, right? It's been a week since Nenra went to do a seminar in Bandung. I can't wait to meet my sweet boyfriend!
"Why did you just come back?"
I jerked.
Is it my feeling or am I hearing Nenra's voice? Is it because missing Nenra so much makes me hallucinate hearing her voice?
"Well, how is it?"
I looked quickly.
I felt my eyes glare in disbelief as my girlfriend was right behind me. Nenra's right there. He looked at me with annoyed eyebrows. Her sweet face still looks charming even though the fatigue still looks very clear on her face.
"Nenra?" I summon. Making sure this isn't just my hallucination. It hurts when it turns out to be a dream.
I touched Nenra's face, patting her occasionally.
"Kei's Pain..." Nenra grimaced as soon as I pinched and pulled her cheek.
It really is Nenra!
"You're home yet? How not ngabarin? He said come home malem?"
Nenra looked at me pouting.
Eehh I was wrong what?
"Why? Sick huh?" I stroked Nenra's cheek gently, afraid that my pinch had hurt her.
Nenra silence.
She why?
"Why the hell? Have you met mama?" My toot.
Nenra just nodded.
"Keep you're going home?"
She shook her head.
God, what does he want?
"Congratulations?"
Nenra sighed. He suddenly pulled me in his arms.
Jeez, Nenra is really sweet~
"I miss Kei." His whisper.
I then smiled. I'm elus quietly backing Nenra. "So come on yuk. I'm gonna change my clothes." I said.
Again Nenra sighed. He let go of his embrace and walked behind me.
"Mama, Kei's home..."
I went into the house looking for my mother. Looks like mom is in the kitchen considering usually mom is busy with the oven this afternoon.
"Cock just got home?" Ask mama. He looked at me astonished at what I was saying.
"So stop by the bookstore first." My answer.
I saw my mom mum muttering slowly. "Tadi Nenra pick you up. He said you're back. But you just got home."
I blinked.
"Nenra picked up Kei earlier?"
Mom nodded my head slowly. "Sister ih. Habits. Nenra's older, remember?"
I'm pouting. "Yes-yes." I said.
Mom smiled. "Hayoloh, Nenra is angry because you're in the dark."
"Well, isn't your mom angry?"
Mama shook her head. "Mama is angry and you make me laugh. So it's no use."
Gee.
Is that my mom, or is it actually Nenra? Why isn't my mom angry that I'm crawling before I go home?
Errata, I'm not crawling. I just stopped by to buy a book.
Mama nodded.
I ran straight to my room on the second floor.
I opened the bag I put on the bed when I entered the room. Take out the novel I just bought from my bag and put it on the desk. I started to change clothes.
After changing into a uniform in casual clothes, I walked out of the room. I saw Nenra sitting on the sofa in the living room all by herself. Her eyes were closed either sleeping or something.
"Nen," call me.
Nenra opened her eyes slowly. He was staring at me.
"Have you had lunch yet?" Tanyaku later.
Nenra.
I let out a breath. I don't understand what's going on with my girlfriend. But he seems very tired. Immediately I pulled Nenra to stand up and follow. At first he refused, but after I threatened him with various sentences, Nenra agreed.
Nenra and I started having lunch together in the dining room.
~♡.♡.♡~
At five o'clock in the afternoon.
I just finished cleaning the kitchen with my mom. I helped my mom make cookies after eating. Mom is out now, she says she wants to give a new neighbor a hand.
I don't know about that. Mama said there's a new family moving in front of my house. I don't know who because I don't know anything.
I went to the living room, but I didn't find Nenra. Take a short walk to the living room, and there is no one. There was only a maid who was busy cleaning the window.
Is Nenra home yet?
I looked out, looking into the trunk where Nenra's car was still parked. Well, that means my boyfriend hasn't come home and is still here.
But where?
I remember one place that Nenra's favorite to visit here.
My room's.
I immediately headed for the room. No hurry because I'm afraid of falling down the stairs. I saw my door closed so I wasn't sure if Nenra was there. But as soon as I opened the door, I saw a large, cocoon-like scroll on the bed.
He's there.
"Miss?"
Nenra did not answer. He just shut up. Then I curiously approached and realized that Nenra was sleeping. His face looked very tired. It was like he hadn't slept for days. Although the black color under her eyes is not so visible, but I realize Nenra is sleep deprived.
"Nice dream big baby."
I confirmed the location of the blanket covering Nenra's body. I heard a call coming in on Nenra's phone on the nightstand. Looking at her mother's name, I picked up the call.
"Hello Mi?" My broom.
No answer for a moment.
"Lho, Kei huh?"
I smile. "Yes mi. Nenra's sleeping, so Kei's picking up." I clearly. I don't want Nenra's mom to worry about her beloved son for not raising a call.
"Forgive the boy. My mom told him to sleep. But Nenra insisted on saying she wanted to meet Kei." I heard mommy giggling across there.
I'm speechless.
Looking slowly, I looked at Nenra who was still asleep. I knew Nenra was reckless. Sometimes she has trouble hearing other people's words except her mom. I'm sure she must have begged my mom to be allowed to meet me earlier. As for the mother herself, she was weak at Nenra's pleas.
A funny family.
"Let's.."
I'm throttling. "Yes mi?" My solute. I heard the regular breathing sound of my mom across the phone.
"Jagain Nenra is it? He's so stubborn."
See? Whatdidme say? Her mother even said so.
"Yes, I must."
"Biarin Nenra is there. If you want to do something, that's okay too. It just so happens that today my mom wants to go to your mom's house."
I'm nodding. "Okay mi's. Kei wait for this." I said half-joking.
Mami laughs. "Mommy took him to Kei's night, my God." I heard mami giggling. "Yaudah bye dear~"
"Bye mami~"
-tut.
Call disconnected.
I let out a breath. Putting Nenra's phone back on top of Nakas, I then approached my sleeping girlfriend.
"What did you say?"
I was surprised the second time. Why is Nenra so happy today to surprise me? I approached, looking at Nenra's face behind me.
Eyes closed.
Is he still asleep? Or is he awake? That one I heard wrong? Or Nenra ngigau?
"What's Kei talking about?" Nenra's voice sounded again. This time both eyes were open.
Nenra looked at me with her typical waking eyes. She looked sweet as she looked at me with half a soul still in the air.
"Mommy's just your name. Tell you to sleep." I answered Nenra's question earlier. He looked at me a long time ago and closed his eyes again.
Is Nenra sleepy again?
"I'm nginap."
I scrunched my forehead. I thought Nenra went back to sleep, but the opposite happened. He opened his eyes and then woke up slowly. Half his body was still covered by a blanket with a disheveled appearance.
I can't bear to mess up the hair that's sticking out here and there. My hands stretched out, scrambling her messy hair.
"Uwaaa, liona~ hair" pekikku gaol. I laughed seeing Nenra glancing at me as if she couldn't take it.
I had already sat myself on the bed, right in front of Nenra who was now looking towards the large cupboard located quite far beside her. I saw Nenra holding her own hair while frowning.
Sweet nenra once~
"It's like a lion..."
The whisper was very small but I could hear it. I laughed, made him look at me and pout. I then realized something.
I haven't seen Nenra smile since we met.
Well, what's up?
I thought nothing was strange. But after seeing her a few times I realized something was wrong with Nenra.
"Nenra why the hell? Tired?" My toot. Nenra just shook her head. He looked at me for a while and then slept on my lap. Nenra's hands hugged my hips and her head sank inside my belly.
I let out a breath. I smiled silently at her sweet behavior.
"Whose guy is that?"
Huh huh?
I looked at Nenra confused. Guys? Which was?
As if understanding my confusion, Nenra complained. He looked at me with a frown, again.
"That is why you go home." Said.
I blinked for a moment before answering. "That's Kevin. You forgot her? Don't you know me?" Means back.
Well, as far as I know Nenra already knows Kevin. They met when I set foot in tenth grade. But why did Nenra ask? He didn't forget, did he?
"Ck, why go home with Kevin? Long time again." Nenra asked again. This time he clucked.
I looked at Nenra confused.
"Our house is one way. It just so happened that Kevin made it with him. That's better than me getting on the bus, right?" Nenra nodded at my words. "It usually comes straight home. But I stopped by the bookstore first because I wanted to buy a novel to my tribe."
I glanced at the novel I had placed on the table. Nenra looked at him and then looked back at me.
"Why go with Kevin? Why not wait for me? Will you be waiting for me to come home?"
I'm shaking.
Sighing, I tried to hold myself back against Nenra's rare behavior.
"So Kevin nawarin again. He said he wanted to buy comics. I'm not good at making noise. Yes, I will ride with him, time does not want to join him. It's kasian." My light.
Nenra sighed. He looked at me, then approached.
The cup!
I looked at him who just kissed my cheek of lightning. But Nenra instead hugged my waist back and drowned her head there.
"I don't like Kevin."
Huh huh?
I stared confused. Since when does Nenra not like Kevin?
Ah, briefly.
One sentence suddenly occurred to me. From Nenra's attitude from the moment we met at three to the hour before six, I think I realized something.
What's...
she jealous?
Seriate...
