After being treated for two days, Pramudya and Freya were finally allowed to go home. During the two-day hospital stay, despite their adjoining treatment room, Freya did not interact much with Pram.
When Pramudya Antasena came to his ward and he asked why the man had not gone to work, it was his first and last visit. The man never came again, but Mr. Bayu periodically came and asked about his condition. However, Freya felt that there was nothing to fuss about. After all, actually their status was only on mere covenant paper.
Having brought nothing with him while being cared for, Freya did not need to tidy up a lot of things while out. He only brought a cellphone and several pairs of clothes given by Mr. Bayu. He insisted on paying for the clothes, but Mr Bayu said the clothes were compensation for being wounded in the attack on Pramudya. In the end Freya just fell silent and accepted the gift without saying anything more. He did not want to argue with the man. Very tiring.
“Nona, Pramudya asked me to drive you home.”
Freya turned her head and found that Bayu had been standing in front of the slightly open door. He smiled and waved while saying, “Pak Bayu need not bother. I ordered a taxi online. Soon until.”
“She said that you should start today living in her mansion, Miss,” Bayu explained. He silently held back a smile. This is a good move. Pramudya never invited any woman to live with him.
“APA?”
“To avoid the occurrence of unwanted things, I think the suggestion is very reasonable. In addition, you can establish interactions so that later it will not look stiff in front of people on the wedding day. Oh, don't forget, you guys haven't prepared a scenario for this sudden wedding either, just in case someone asks.” Bayu reviewed a knotty smile after saying that sentence. He was already impatient to see how his ice block-cold best friend was dealing with this silly girl every day.
Freya looked at the man who had just spoken at length with a blank look. Mr. Bayu is very different from Mr. Pram who is like ice cubes, very irritable to talk, but once he speaks will certainly only say spicy and heartless words. However, a man who talks too much like this also gives him a headache.
“Nona?” call Bayu when you see Freya just stupefied looking at him.
“Eh?”
“I think you should cancel that online taxi before he gets here.”
“Oh ...” Freya hastily picks up her phone and makes a cancellation. He clicked on “oke” when a notification appeared that the fare will remain deducted because the cancellation is done after the driver arrives on location.
After canceling the taxi, Freya just remembered that her belongings were still in her rented place. It is impossible to move without bringing anything. Damnit. Money is wasted. Now he has to pay a taxi again to get back to the contract.
He smiled wryly and said, “I still have to go back to the contract to pick up my things there.”
“No need. I'll buy you a new one.”
Freya's back was cold when she heard that deep, indifferent voice. He turned his body stiffly and looked at the owner of the voice who was looking at him with a pair of sharp and brilliant eyes.
Freya cursed inwardly, but her face still forced a smile that looked uglier than when she cried. He remembered that he had promised to keep his distance from Pramudya Antasena, but two days ago he clung shamelessly to the man's hand just so he wouldn't leave the hospital.
Freya sighed in silence. His brain that was out of sync with his actions made him frustrated. Just like this time. He had wanted to insist on going home and picking up his belongings, but just one rebuke had made his mouth mute. It's not useful.
In the end he can only say hello reluctantly, “Pak Pram.”
“Hm.”
The two people exchanged looks. One was cold and gave off an oppressive aura, one did not know what to say. Bayu stood in the middle and stared at the two alternately.
“Haish. You two really .. at least don't be so stiff that people will think you two just met.” Bayu grumbled and approached Pram. He raises his hand and touches Pramudya's cheek, pulling it to the right and left sides so that his best friend's mouth curves in a slightly strange way.
“Well, smile a lot like that.”
He turned and faced Freya. “And you .. don't be intimidated by it. You must be strong. Let your charms shine forth clearly in front of everyone. Show that you deserve to be Madam Antasena.”
Freya resisted the strong urge to roll her eyeballs and sneered. What charm? What's Madam Antasena? Obviously this is just pretend!
“You talk too much!” Pram snorted and glanced cynically towards Bayu. “Quick urus.”
Without waiting for Bayu's response, Pramudya turned around and walked towards the door. However, after three steps, he turned his head back and glanced towards Freya.
“Still be quiet there?”
Freya tightened her fists and looked at Bayu, but the man just shrugged his shoulders as if to say that he could do nothing if Pramudya Antasena had given the order.
In the end Freya could only exhale, then pursed her lips. With heavy footsteps, he followed Pramudya out of the room.
Behind them, a pair of Bayu eyes shone brightly. Good though. His cold, stiff friend has made progress. His brain is not only thinking about business and tenders, but it can be used to think about how to pay attention to his future wife.
