Chapter 22 - Fahmi Enters SD

Finally Fahmi entered elementary school, Fahmi attended Istiqomah Elementary School. Fahmi went to school with the kaka, Agil strongly agreed if Fahmi attended a school with him.

The Flashback

Hendra who tried to go to Istiqomah Elementary School, to ask if this school received autistic children.

"Assalamu'alaikum, good afternoon ma'am" said Hendra.

"Walaikumsalam pa Hendra, how can I help you?" ask the Principal.

"So ma'am, I'd like to ask. Does this school accept autistic children to go to school here?" ask Hendra.

"There can be pa, here there is also a psychologist teacher who wants to accompany autistic children with parents. So here it can be once, if there are autistic children who want to go to school here. It's just that we will test reading, writing, and some short prayers that are usually routinely done," said the Guardian of the class.

Hendra was waiting for Agil who soon returned home from school, Hendra faithfully waiting for Agil near the school gate.

Finally the school bell rang, indicating that all students had gone home from school.

Agil who was shocked by the voice that Agil recognized from behind, turned out the father was picking up the school.

"Dad's walaikumsalam, did you pick up kaka?" ask Agil.

"Yes, I picked up my beautiful daughter" said the father.

Finally Agil came home with his father, until at home greeted by mamah Nina and Fahmi.

Agil went straight into the house to change clothes, pray, and have lunch together.

Hendra explained that in elementary school Istiqomah received an autistic child, and Nina also understood what to do with Fahmi who will take the test tomorrow.

The next day, Hendra's father brought Fahmi, Mama Nina, Anisa's sister to attend school. Today Fahmi test.

The headmaster came out of the room, and already brought results.

"Congratulations to Hendra, Fahmi is accepted to this school. Fahmi will enter this year, "the principal said.

"Allhamdulilah," said all who were there to give thanks.

"Fahmi has a very good IQ, EQ, and SQ" said the principal.

"Allhamdulilah ma'am" said Hendra.

"Welcome to be a student here huh Fahmi, study diligently. So that you can achieve rich kaka Agil," said the Headmaster.

"God willing, ma'am" said Fahmi who then greeted and kissed the Headmaster's hand.

"Good ma'am, we'll say goodbye first. I say a lot of thanks, would accept Fahmi to be a student here," said Hendra.

"Together sir" said the principal.

"Assalamu'alaikum ma'am" said Hendra.

"Walaikumsalam sir," said the principal.

Flashback Off

"Wah father's son is handsome, ready for school with Agil," said the father.

"Yeah, want to go to school with kaka," said Fahmi.

"Fahmi's happy to be in school with you?" ask dad.

"Fahmi is very happy, well" said Fahmi

"Today's dad between Fahmi's school," said the father.

Finally Fahmi went to school with Agil, who was delivered by Ferry and father.

"Oh Allah, I should be thankful or something, because I never thought I would have such a great son like them both. Although Agil is not my flesh and blood, he is the flesh and blood of my best friend who is now my son. I'm proud of Agil, because he was able to divide his time between studying and teaching for his sister who actually he also had a great duty and responsibility. I'm proud of Fahmi who was able to get through this with things that must have been heavy for him, but he was able to accept it well. Finally arriving at school, today was the day that the new teaching year was about to begin. Agil will be in 5th grade and Fahmi will be in 1st grade, dad will be on guard all day at school. Because of fear of anything with Fahmi, I was afraid that Fahmi would tantrum.

Agil had met up with his friends, and they entered class together.

Fahmi from the physical does not look like an autistic child, because there is no shortage in his physical. It's just from the attitude and behavior, but gradually Fahmi will be able to manage everything by himself.

Fahmi in between to the class and the bench that Fahmi chose, Fahmi chose to sit on the third bench from the front and was near the window.

The first day of school began, Fahmi became an active student in the class, Fahmi answered many questions. The homeroom teacher who taught in the class, was very proud of Fahmi. Because Fahmi is good at reading, writing, and counting.

Hendra who saw Fahmi active in the class felt proud, and the first day lesson hours for 1st grade children were over.

"Pak Hendra, improved on teaching for Fahmi. I know Fahmi is an autistic child, but if taught continuously. Fahmi is able to be an outstanding student, I believe Fahmi can be the best at this school," said the homeroom teacher.

"Thank you ma'am for the advice, God willing me, Agil, and the guidance counselor at home will continue to teach Fahmi. I say goodbye, Assalamu'alaikum, ", said Hendra.

"Walaikumsalam," said the homeroom teacher.

"Agil, I'm proud that you can be a good kaka for Fahmi. And you're also a good friend, for your autistic best friend too" muttered the homeroom teacher.

Finally Fahmi arrived home, and Fahmi immediately entered the room to change clothes. Hendra and Nina see a change in Fahmi who starts to become independent.
