Handini was walking towards her room after she locked the front door when Radit bailed to go home.
"Son, your friend is home? What's the need to come here?" Handini was shocked by his father's arrival.
"Already, Dad. Talk about class separation, want to do your own event also after school separation."
"You want to go to that class farewell? "ask Handini's Dad
"Why not, Dad." Handini was confused by her father's question.
"You're getting married soon, get plenty of rest. No need for you to attend class farewells, just school farewells. And I'm telling you, your wedding's gonna be 2 weeks away. Exactly 1 week after your school breakup, let the letters all sorts of Daddy take care of. "
Handini felt that her father had now dared to restrain her, she felt sad because now her activities were restricted.
"And you need to keep your distance from the opposite sex, because you're getting married. Your boyfriend is just your husband, there's no boyfriend but him in your life."
Handini stared at the back of the man who had been her father for 18 years .Handini's father set his feet away from his daughter's room after a gentle swab he landed on the head of his only child.
"What is true Salsa said, if I get married later my activities will be limited. What if later I can't see my friends anymore let alone Salsa."
Handini remembered Farhan, however soon she would marry him. But he was still confused, why did it look like Farhan was calm. Why would he want to be married to such an unstable girl.
Actually, he had his cell phone number Farhan but never exchanged messages, ever occasionally when often pick him up first. And after that never again, neither Handini who sent the message nor Farhan, not at all.
Wanting to ask when Farhan suddenly gave him a doll, he did not dare.
----
Handini lazily opened her eyes when she heard a loud noise in her ears.
With a shudder he came out of the room and searched for the source of the sound that managed to make him wake up in this blind morning.
Because there was no sunlight on the sidelines of his room, concluding that it was still very early in the morning.
Handini gasped at what she saw at the moment, many men dressed in black with large enough bodies were picking up the items in her parents' room.
"Dad, what's going on? and who are these people?" Ask Handini with an ungodly heart.
"Son, come with me." Dad walked in the back and how shocked he was when he saw that Mom was there crying.
Dad approached Mom and gently rubbed her shoulders to calm her down and Dad gave the code to Handini to accompany Mom.
Handini immediately hugged her mother and accidentally joined in crying too, because her heart was broken when she saw her mother crying. But he doesn't know what the cause is. While Dad came back to the front again, maybe to keep an eye on the people who are taking things at home.
"Mother... Please tell Handini, what really happened? "
"Din, I'm sorry about Dad." Mother increasingly shed her tears making Handini not have the heart, but she was really curious about what happened at this time.
"Mothers.. Handini's the one who should be apologizing to Mom and Dad. I'm sorry if Handini hasn't been able to please Mom and Dad." Handini's mother shook her head.
"No, Son. Mom and Dad who have forced you to marry young, even though we know you don't want to be married yet. But rest assured, son. Farhan's a good man, he can take care of you."
Handini was confused by her mother's words.
"No problem, Mom. But what does it mean for those people to take all the things in our house? " now Handini was staring intensely at her mother.
"Dad's broke, son. I don't know exactly what happened to the company. But because of too much debt, forced our homes confiscated. Actually we don't want you to know now, Dad and Mom are planning to take you to Salsa's house first. But from the bank asked for it now, forced we have to quickly empty this house. And thankfully our furniture was not confiscated, because of the additional money from Farhan."
"Then I'm in..."
"Not that, son. Not that we sold you to Farhan. But Mom and Dad will move to the village, we will start another business there. We have a little savings to start a small business. And we don't want to destroy your future, son. You want to go to college and Farhan kindly wants to pay for all your tuition. And because there are no brothers here, the only way is to marry you both. Father already considered Farhan like his sister, so Dad wanted to raise him as part of his family as well. Son, we don't sell or force. We make the best choice for you, I urge you to be with Farhan, I'll be relieved."
The perfectly fluffy smile on the lips of Mother Handini made Handini feel happy as well.
"Thank you, Mom. You guys are still thinking about my future. I know Om Farhan is a good man, Mom. I wish I could be a good wife, Mom." Handini sobbed in her mother's arms.
"I'm sorry, son. But I'm sure Farhan will be able to keep you here. Oh yeah. You quickly pack your things, son. Mom and Dad will take you to Salsa's house, today we will go directly to the village to find a place to live there. And your wedding will be held at Farhan's house."
Mother got up and took Handini's hand to help pack her daughter's belongings.
"Mother, will forever stay in the village? " ask Handini on the sidelines she packed her clothes. While people in black are still busy packing items in the kitchen and family room.
"Yes, honey. I don't want to open a business in the city anymore, the competition is very tight here."
"Handini's here alone, ma'am." He bowed his head imagining what his life would be like and if he missed his parents.
"You'll be with your husband, baby. If there is time we will visit you here and if possible ask your husband to visit Mother and Father often in the village. You look at Grandma and Grandpa there."
"All right, Mom." There was something he wanted to ask his mother but she was afraid.
"Mom... "
"Yes Dear... "
"Later after marriage, will Om Farhan limit Dini's activities?" Handini asked without daring to look at her mother.
Handini's mother smiled hearing the innocent question from her daughter.
