My Adult Man's

My Adult Man's
Special Day

"Mba Early, dinner first." Lita who saw the door of her sister-in-law's room was not closed tightly, ventured to look into the room. He saw his sister-in-law was engrossed with her cellphone with her legs spread on the mattress. Without opening the door completely, the girl called her sister-in-law to take her to dinner first.

"Yes Lit." replied Handini with a smile towards her husband's niece. Handini was happy, somehow Lita could now be sweet to him. Lita can respect herself now who is her sister-in-law.

Today's dinner menu, all of which cook Bi Nam. The handini only helped for a while and then returned to the room because he heard his phone ringing.

"Din, it seems like you've been busy lately. Lots of college work?" ask Bi Nam. The middle-aged woman asked as she put rice on her plate and occasionally looked at Handini.

"Yes Bi, a lot of college work." she replied later while nodding. It's true, lately he spends more time in the room to express the task. The homework he did when he was free, even sometimes it was all done by Lita.

Farhan this time did not make a sound at dinner, he was like he did not hear the talk of his wife and aunt.

When he was in the car this afternoon after picking him up at Salsa's house, Farhan did not make a sound. Handini who was already tired as if indifferent, maybe Farhan was having a lot of problems in the work, he thought.

There was no food left on Farhan's plate, the man finished his meal quickly. And he hurried to his room without saying goodbye to the person at the dining table.

"Han, don't you add the rice? looks like you're still hungry" shouted Bi Nam, calling Farhan who walked quickly towards the room.

"Din, this afternoon didn't you two have lunch outside?" Bi Nam turned his gaze to Dini.

Handini did not understand the direction of the meaning of Bi Nam's words just now.

"I mean Aunty?" ask Handini because she doesn't understand.

Bi Nam put down the spoon he was holding and now looked at Handini.

"You were out this morning till noon with your husband, didn't you guys eat out this afternoon?" Bi Nam tried to explain in detail.

Handini added was made dumbfounded by the words of Bi Nam just now.

"I was leaving with Mas Farhan this morning, but he just drove me to Salsa's house. Then after driving me, where did he go?"

Somehow an uneasy feeling enveloped his heart at this moment. Dini tries to dismiss the mind that is not-no. He quickly finished dinner this time. Dini immediately followed her husband into the room after saying goodbye to Bi Nam and Lita.

Carefully he opened the door. It was not seen her husband was on the bed. The gurgling sound of water coming from inside the bathroom, made Handini understand that her husband was there.

Hearing the sound of the bathroom door being opened, Handini turned to the source of the voice.

"Mas, said Bi Nam you were gone?"Handini cursed her own question that seemed too frontal.

"Hmm I mean, where did you go after driving me to Salsa's house?"the question came back, with a more relaxed voice.

"I should have asked, where have you been?" Farhan looked at Handini sharply, not knowing what the man was thinking. His words seemed to be insinuating, as if he already knew something.

"I mean Mas?" Handini now felt scared when she was stared at by her husband like that. She understood that she had lied to her husband on the grounds that he would ask about the lecture material to Salsa but in the end they went to the mall.

"Do you want to be honest or keep lying?" farhan asked again but his words softened because he saw Handini was scared.

Handini's mouth is very difficult to move, why to say honesty seems difficult. Handini resigned as she bluntly later, she was ready if Farhan scolded her.

"I went to the Mall with Salsa, because I wanted to buy....." Handini immediately grabbed the sling bag, taken a small navy box that had a ribbon on it.

Farhan was surprised if his charade to prank Handini turned out to be unexpected to get honesty from his wife.

Farhan laughed out loud. Handini immediately raised her head to look at her husband who suddenly laughed.

"Why laugh?" she asked when she thought her husband had stopped laughing.

"Look at this." Farhan opened his nightstand drawer and took out a small pink box. The box looks very girly, because there are some lace beside it and also ribbon flower decoration.

"What is this Mas?" Handini received the small box as Farhan gave it to her. This box was about the same size as the navy box he had bought for Farhan.

"And what is this?" Farhan was also no less curious when he took the navy colored box from his wife's lap.

"Today will be exactly 3 months of our wedding, I want to give a little gift to you, Mas." said Handini with a fluffy smile.

"You remember the looks of it too." Farhan also developed his smile.

"This is what, Mas?" ask Dini later when observing the small pink box.

"Open it." Farhan ordered. He sat his body right next to his wife.

Handini slowly opened the pink box. His eyes sparkled when he saw the contents inside.

"The necklace" she said briefly and turned to look at her husband. He developed his smile but this time accompanied by tears that quickly fell in his eyes, without hesitation the tears finally fell from place.

Farhan swiftly hugged his wife and rubbed his back giving him peace.

"You're given a gift and you're crying, next time I don't have to give you another gift." Handini, who heard her husband's words, quickly released Farhan's hand from her.

"Why is it like that, I just cry happy instead of sad." Handini was upset at her husband's words.

Farhan laughed at his wife's defense. He ruffled his wife's hair feeling anxious.

"Oh yes, I open it from me" Handini said later.

Farhan also opened a gift from his wife.

"I'm sorry I can only give you that." Handini just gave a handkerchief. There was nothing special about the handkerchief, but after marrying Farhan, Handini became familiar with Farhan's habits. Farhan often brought a handkerchief over him. Although not every time, but when he left for work must always take him.

Handini thought it was possible that by giving the handkerchief, Farhan could remember it at work though.

"Thank you, Din." said Farhan. The two of them stared at each other, gesturing that they were happy for each other's gifts.
