Mr. Ustadz I Love You

Mr. Ustadz I Love You
Plan

The day goes by and the pesantren activity goes on as usual. It is unexpected that it is near the Eid al-Fitr Day. The atmosphere of the pesantren is always crowded with santri activities, until their last day in the pesantren because they will return home. Same with Ara and Ulfa.

“Ara, goodbye again ya.” Ulfa hugged Ara.

“Yes you are carefully on the road yes.” reply to the embrace of Ulfa.

It was a happy day for the students. The most awaited holiday. Away from the relatives of dear friends. The pent-up longing will be healed, with a smile that greets when you arrive home.

Nothing else with Ara. He had already prepared the items he would bring home. In the room that Ara occupied only a few more students who were waiting for the invitation of the closest person.

Ara went home alone He did not want to bother his parents, considering the location of his house is very far from Pesantren. I even had to cross the ocean.

Ara came home by air transport. According to him it is more convenient and fast, if you want to pass by land Ara is afraid not strong because it takes up to 1 day 2 nights in the car.

Ara had arrived home and was greeted with joy by her parents.

“Alhamdulillah yes Allah, Mbak already nyampe home.” said Ara's mother while hugging the much missed child.

“Alhamdulillah, let's go nak.” Dad came in and brought in Ara's stuff.

Morning time.

“Mbak breakfast first mbak.” shouted Ibu Ara.

“Iya bu briefly.” Ara tidied up the cleaning tools she used to clean the yard.

It was night Ara and her family as usual gathered in the family room chatting and telling a little experience today.

“Mbak no one wants to talk to you.” said Father.

“What's well.” Ara replied with her mouth still chewing her favorite banana chips that I had prepared long before Ara came home, and for Eid al-Fitr meal later.

“Tomorrow or the day after dad's friend wants to play here.”

“terus.” Ara was still busy chewing her chips.

Ara's father named Pak Budi looked at his son hesitant to continue his speech again. Budi staring at his son intense, a child who is always cheerful, humorous and able to color their days at home.

Ara is also known to be cheerful and kind by the surrounding community.

“Come see me?”. ask Ara.

Ara's questions break her father's daydreams.

“Eh no papa Ra. It's in your mouth there's a scar. How it is already great to eat belepotan that.” he said a lie.

“time anyway well, I think I eat neat kok.” holding around his mouth.

Nisa came to bring a drink for her husband and Ara.

“What's chat ? kok mother is not invited.” said Nisa while sitting next to her husband.

“Say daddy friend dad wants to come do not know tomorrow or the day after.” Ara.

“Oh temen father whose son we want to match with Ara yes yah?”. said Nisa and managed to make Ara shocked.

“Uhuukk. Uhuukk.” Ara choked on the chips she ate.

“pelan-pelan dong mbak.” handed a drink to Ara who immediately drank it.

“Eatya mom was dad had said. Don't tell Ara just yet. Pake a little talk dong."

“Hehehe.Sorry well mom forgot.” Nisa grinned without sin.

“Ara don't want to be fooled !” exclaiming Ara.

Budi and Nisa were not too surprised by Ara's answer.they could already predict Ara's answer would be like that.

“Mbak hearderin explanation we first yes.” said Nisa.

“Well, I'm still in college. I am also young. Ara also wanted to pursue my ideals. I don't want it all hampered because I married.” explained Ara.

“Mbak so gini story. It was a time when we had you and you were born. Dad's best friend in Bandung had a son. We have many stories and finally the father's best friend plans to mate you with his son if the child is ready to get married.” said Budi.

“Keep daddy accept that?” ask Ara.

“Iya. But I thought it was my best friend joking. Father has promised to make fools of you if his son is ready to marry” sounds like regret in Budi's breath. “But just yesterday Om Fadil father's best friend charged the father's promise to marry you.” continued father.

“Mbak Om Fadil was the one who often helped your father's business, I used to often lack funds for business. Om Fadil who always helps your father.” added Nisa.

“But why should Ara.why not mbak Sarah. The part that is ready is his son's best friend father, I am not ready buu” said Ara annoyed.

“Dad also do not know why it was Om Fadil more choosy you. Though mbk Sarah is not much different age same child Om Fadil.”

“Lagian mbak Sarah is now married Ra.” said Nisa.

Ara was silent, confused by the situation she was in. He tries to control emotions. He knew what the consequences would be if he couldn't handle his emotions. Ara is cheerful but everything will turn terrible if you are angry.

Ara was still busy with her confusion. If he refuses to be betrothed to his father's best friend's son, it means that it will make his father embarrassed in front of his best friend for not keeping his promise first. And the help that Om Fadil gave to his father until now he can enjoy the results of the hard work of his father who helped his Friend.

But, if she accepts this matchmaking she is not ready to marry and become a wife let alone a mother.

“Hiiihhh.” Ara shuddered in horror at the thought of being the mother who had to give birth to her children. Plus he who doesn't like kids at all.

“Mbak.” Call Dina. “Mbak.” reset it again harder.

“Eh. yes.” Ara replied.

“Mbak sorryin dad yes. If you don't want to later you can talk to Om Fadil. Hopefully Om Fadil can understand.” said Budi lethargic.

“Later I thought first yah.”

Budi and Nisa were surprised and happy with Ara's answer. There is a possibility that his son will accept this match.

“Mbak you already know the criteria of a husband who can take you to his paradise Allah.” asked Nisa.

Ara just nodded and silently heard it.

“Mom knows how his son om Fadil is in the criteria of a good husband. Mothers and fathers have definitely weighted seedlings bebetnya already good.” continued Nisa.

“Mother know where ?” is from ask Ara.

“Mother is just like her parents.is her best friend dad. We are also parents who want the best for their children. Especially in the past I believe gini mbak. If we do not find a real husband that could be dangerous for you.”

Ara just kept quiet and confirmed the word her mother said. It is true that Ara saw the news on TV that there were cruel and evil husbands who even had the heart to kill their wives and children.

“Your candidate will be mbak if so but yes. He is also a santri, even now become an ustadz. You know that ustadz it must be his religious knowledge is already high. certainly can guide you to the path of God's pleasure.” added Budi.

Again Ara was silent.

They were silent in each other's minds. The worry is still seen in the face of Budi and Nisa. The fear and misgivings of her daughter would reject the matchmaking crossed their minds.

“ Hufhh.” Ara's penetrating rough breathing added to her parents' tense.

Ara had thought everything through. He had also thought about the risks he would bear if he refused and accepted the match.

“Dad mom.” Ara looked at both her parents, and got there a great twinkle of hope in the gaze of the old man who was now in front of her.

“Ara...”.
