CPTR VI: SIDE JOB

Maya opened her eyes. The feeling of desolation that filled him stupefied and lost himself. Maya sits on her bed and looks around. His heart was agitated and he felt unusually sad for no reason.

Slowly tears fell down her cheeks. Maya is confused as to what to do. He was sad, but did not know what he was sad for. Maya sits on the edge of her bed and stares out the window. The sun has risen high since.

After a long time, Maya finally felt good. Maya opens the refrigerator and pours a glass of water. His body shivered from the feeling just now. Again he felt it. Maya breathed a heavy sigh and gulped down cold water until her throat was satisfied.

After feeling enough Maya takes a bright cold bulb from inside the refrigerator and chews it. Maya then on the carpet looked at her laptop. He pulled his hand up and muttered, "Work...."

At 2 pm Maya who is still in her room took a break after writing and lying on the carpet while looking at the ceiling while imagining what it would be like to be rich and financially free. In the middle of it all suddenly his phone rang.

Maya snatches her phone and answers the call.

"Hello."

"Hello, May, you want some money?"

Maya frowned and checked the name on the call. Dahlia, her college friend first. They were familiar once, but because of the busy Dahlia who worked at the event organizer starting a few years ago they rarely met.
