Maya jumps down from the taxi and runs into the restaurant. Although he had run as fast as possible his hair remained wet due to the rain that was sweeping the city.
Arriving inside Maya hurriedly checked her bob-style short hair on the glass.
"May?"
Maya hurriedly glanced towards the source of the voice. There stood another woman with the same wet long hair as her. The woman hurriedly ran towards him and the two hugged tightly.
"Have you come too?" ask Maya.
"Yes, it's raining heavily, huh?" reply Hilda.
The two also chatted as they walked towards the table they had ordered earlier this afternoon. On the table appeared the figure of another woman in a black dress enjoying wine from her elegant glass.
The woman smiled mockingly, Maya and Hilda hurriedly ran over to the woman and hugged her tightly. The three hugged for a long time then sat down to their respective seats.
"I swear, Ros, you go to a gini restaurant doang look like people want a party to know?" maya said commenting on the figure of her best friend who sipped wine in her expensive black dress.
"Don't protest much, huh. You both want wine, don't you?" rosa on both.
"Sorry, I still have to go to the office tomorrow morning." declined Hilda smooth.
"Gue too" Maya said as she nodded.
"It's not unemployment, is it?" rosa replied with a smile towards Maya.
Maya frowned then replied, "Please distinguish the same unemployed freelancer writers. You housewife."
Rosa put down her wine glass. "Eh, make no mistake, housewives are also on the payroll, you know!"
"Yes-yes, you know, the mentang-ang about which a new husband can be promoted."
Rosa snorted proudly. "Yes dong, so you are also quick to ask for marriage! A long date but not a wedding!"
Maya hurriedly lowered her head not daring to retaliate. Rosa gave her gaze to Hilda and nagged her as well, "Here too, your father's debt is paid off, now it's time for rest and fun. Mulu work kayak kuda. Want to be a spinster? This age is still single."
Suddenly from the front came a new, more masculine voice that asked, "Who is single?"
Maya, Hilda, and Rosa, hurriedly turned towards the source of the sound. The three smiled then said, "The last one to come is a treat!"
Hearing his three best friends Vino just smiled and took a seat next to Rosa. That way, complete the four groups. Three women in their early 30s plus one man in their early 30s as well.
Friends since they were in college, durable until now, their friendship never separated just because of distance and time, instead it makes them more tightly.
Their regular meetings once a month where the four of them come together to discuss their life events and compare who has more exciting.
After a brief pleasantry Rosa opened up first, "Honestly, I didn't happen anything this month. My kids are that. My husband too. Next, yes."
Rosa is a housewife. Her daily activities are taking care of her son and husband. But if you go out then the makeup will be like a child who just graduated high school. Of course, even though the clothes and makeup of the High School boy, his face and body are still women in their 30s. So it can be shadowed by itself how it will be.
Vino took a sip of the water the waiter had just brought and said, "I'm doing a lot this week. There is nothing that can be traced. Next."
Heir to large export-import companies from the capital. A bachelor man with a hard disposition and famous as a cold boss. The only time he showed a smile was with these three women. The rest is just a matter of work and how to make more money for his grandfather's company.
Vino glanced at Hilda.
Hilda is a teacher at a private institution. Hilda has always loved to teach and play with children. But his career as a teacher began long before they met.
Hilda started giving lessons to the neighborhood kids since she was in High School. He had to help his family's finances because of his father's mounting debts. Now that the debt has paid off last year, Hilda can be a little more relaxed in life.
Hilda glanced for a moment at Maya thinking Maya would tell her story first. Maya herself was silent. Maya is a freelance writer and is not under contract.
His only work that succeeded in publication was his work while still in college. A typical teenage melodramatic love story. After graduating from college Maya decided to become a writer. Maya kemba
Hilda was silent for a moment then let out a long sigh, "My co-worker... The Mathematics Teacher.... A few days ago I squirmed the girlfriend of the Maths Teacher the same way other guys."
"Whoah..." Rosa showed her typical shocked expression.
Vino smiled and seemed interested.
Maya was still silent while lowering her face.
Hilda continued. "Because I was curious, I followed them. Then... They're both in the hotel."
"WAAAAH! Continuously?"
"Hmm, shouldn't it be Maya's turn?" ask Hilda.
"Hes, at most he also talked about work. Useless. Just talk about that, Hilda! Did they get to the hotel?" ask Rosa excitedly.
Vino chuckled, "Etdah, patient napa. May, it's your turn."
Rosa snorted hearing this. Maya herself gathered her courage, raised her face then said, "Gue broke up with Rio."
Rosa who was gulping her wine immediately choked. Hilda's eyes glared wide. While Vino's focus was immediately entirely on Maya.
Seeing the expressions of her friends Maya hurriedly smiled and said in a comforting tone, "Haha what the hell, people have been from how many days yesterday. Not a big deal either!"
"Why didn't you tell us earlier, May?" hilda asked in a sad voice.
"Don't want to take nicotine."
Rosa slammed the glass a little hard. "Basic of this child... Comeing! We're samperin him right now! How dare! The 5-year relationship keeps breaking up! What a fast time! Let's go to his house now!"
Rosa was about to stand up but Vino painstakingly held her back. While Vino was busy struggling with Rosa, Hilda again asked, "You two had a problem before?"
Maya looked at Hilda a long time later forcing her smile. Again that question. The relationship between the two the last few years is getting worse and worse. The two stopped caring about each other, rarely asking for news, no longer calling for hours, everything was done just for mere formality.
Maya never really knew how this relationship would turn out. Like love stories in general, the two meet, get acquainted, and then start spending time together. The closeness of the two began when Maya who was coming to the cafe to write her new script was flattered by Rio's melodious voice. Rio is the vocalist of the cafe band where Maya used to hang out on her own.
Since then Maya has always been present to watch Rio. Maya came early and came home last. It didn't take long for Rio to realize the existence of Maya's figure.
Rio also seems to have the same feeling. Rio invited her to meet, then chatted all night at the cafe with Maya. The two exchanged stories with each other so cool that it did not feel matahri had risen in the eastern horizon.
Maya remembers very well that morning Rio drove her to the station. The two walked side by side while enjoying the sunlight that slowly shone on. Wonderful moment.
When Rio finally said, "We hope. You're not happy. Me either. I guess we don't fit in." I don't know why Maya was surprised. As if he had expected it earlier, Maya had prepared herself for this all since long ago. So the two broke up well.
Maya returns to her boarding house with an empty mind all the way. When Maya finally closed the door to her room, her heart shook. His body went limp and Maya fell leaning against the door. That day Maya just kept quiet room while lamenting the fate of her romance.
Yesterday while opening the group message and finding Rosa to get a monthly get-together, Maya was hesitant. He did not want to trouble his friends. So Maya sets her feelings first before going to tonight's show.
He tried hard to cover up his broken heart. But his choice was to be honest, a mistake he should never have made. Because sometimes lies solve problems better than telling the truth.
He now sits in front of his three best friends. Staring at the three with a fake, contrived smile. Maya is a terrible liar.
Hilda wrapped her hands around Maya's neck and hugged her tightly. Rosa on the other hand still looked furious and wild. Vino could only look at Maya with a look of pity. Vino asked, "Why break up? I thought you guys were okay?"
Maya took a deep breath. "Eitherway. Don't know either. Maybe we're just bored of each other. But don't worry. We're both dashing around really well. We understand that there is nothing more to fight in this relationship. Well, if that's the case, it's better to break up, right?"
Maya looked at Vino. Vino quibbled with a sip of his drink. It was Rosa's turn to ask bitterly, "She cheated, huh?"
"Ga really. He always knows where he's going. I used to talk to his bandmates and they said he never met a girl at all. I think it's because I'm bored."
"Well, why are you bored?" ask Rosa in despair.
Maya breathed a heavy sigh. "There are times when we feel saturated with our loved ones but are too afraid to say. We're afraid that person will get hurt, then leave. You all know I'm a coward. I always keep quiet and feel. Rio's exactly like me. Yeah, though, he's not as wily as I am, but we both prefer to get a feel for it. As a result, if there is a problem, we both are more silent and do not resolve it all. Over time the problem accumulates, mountains, until finally every time we hear the name of the person we become irritated ourselves. That's how I feel about Rio lately. There were too many problems until I was confused about where else to solve."
Both Rosa, Vino, and Hilda, did not say anything more. Maya has just cemented her position and she definitely wants to end her relationship with Rio. That way, there was nothing else they could do.
Rosa's ordered steak finally arrived. The servants served it on the table and Rosa immediately stuck her fork on the steak in annoyance. Rosa put the piece of meat in her mouth and said with a full mouth, "Gue maswih sebel lo poutus after a long courtship. I think it was in vain."
"Yes, that 5-year date is not something you're quick about, May. You also know him to your family and vice versa. Breaking up like gini does not mean you break up with him, but also with his family" said Vino seriously to Maya.
"Ah, yes, I haven't told my mom about this..."
Hilda rubbed the top of Maya's head then said, "Gue sure your mama would understand if she said it well."
Maya nodded. "Well, let's order some food! Very hungry!"

The four had dinner together while avoiding talking about Maya's relationship again. They joked again, mocked each other's lives as usual and finally returned to how they were.
After the meal, Vino poured more wine into Rosa's glass, and Rosa said, "Well, don't feel like we're all 30 years old, huh? Be aunt and om-om again."
The three laughed at Rosa's words. Hilda responded first, "But my body still feels ok. Never hurt the linu or anything like that. I guess my body doesn't want to be old."
Rosa snorted, "Wait until you give birth later. Rasaiin was pregnant, took care of the child, not to mention having to wait for the husband to come home from work."
When finally everyone was satisfied chatting Vino finally got up from his chair and walked to the cashier to pay. There his eyes quickly caught the figure of a long-haired woman who had just entered the restaurant with her lover. Vino's attention for a moment focused on the woman.
But suddenly Rosa from behind patted him and startled him, "Just look! Look who the hell?"
Rosa followed the direction of Vino's view and caught the beautiful figure that Vino was looking at. Rosa sizzled out as she said, "What's her name? Jessie's? You're a former mountaineering hobbyist, right?"
Vino nodded. "Yes. How much is it all?"
"Aren't you going to samperin?"
"Nope."
Vino pays their meal bill and gives one last look to Jessie and joins them at their table. After packing each of the four of them walked out and Rosa suddenly said, "Hilda, you're staying in Maya's room tonight?"
Hila looked confusedly at Rosa. Rosa also glared at the code telling her. Hilda replied, "A-Ah, so really. May, why am I staying at your place tonight?"
"Can anyway. But don't you come in tomorrow morning?"
"Who can go to work from your place."
Rosa holds up a passing taxi and sends Hilda and Maya inside. The two entered and waved at Vino and Rosa. The taxi walked and drowned in the crowded streets of the capital.
Rosa let out a heavy sigh, "Basic of the boy... At the age of breaking up for no apparent reason it's really bad."
Vino just nodded.
Rosa glanced at Vino, "Lo when is marriage?"
"Gue's not interested in girls."
"Solicit an oath. Lo kalo becanda expressive dikit napa, make people misunderstand me."
"Haha sorry. Do you want to go home too? Didn't ask to pick up your husband?"
"Don't, he just got home from work. Definitely tired. PNS different times as entrepreneurs like lo."
"Yaudah, I'll take it with me. I still have to see the client."
"His work spirit."
The two got into the car and left the restaurant. Friendship that began in college. It continues today and over time the four grow up together.
The story of the four friends in their early 30s, begins!
