Chapter 19 New subordinates

I woke up and found myself lying in a room.

I woke up and started looking around.

"Click" the door opens.

Lucy went inside with the fruit in her hand.

"You're already well? how are you doing?"

"I'm good enough just a little exhausted from turning into a vampire while holding that spear, how long have I been asleep?"

"Just a few hours."

Lucy kept walking and sitting on a chair by the bed, she patted the mattress a few times while looking at me.

I went back to the bed and sat down.

Lucy starts picking up the apple and peeling it off.

"So how are Ana and Zep? are they okay?"

"They both fainted from running out of mana and manpower especially Ana because she was over-exerting herself while using that last magic."

Lucy spoke as she continued to cut the apple into small pieces.

"Thank God."

"Ahhh~"

Lucy held out a piece of apple that was pierced with a fork.

I wanted to take the apple from his hand but his hand continued to dodge very agilely.

"What's wrong?"

"Ahhh~"

"I'm not sick, you know? and I can eat myself."

"Ahh~"

He kept repeating it and ignored everything I said.

I finally relented and opened my mouth and Lucy put the apple in my mouth.

"You satisfied now? you remind me of my fucking mother."

"Because Ana and Zep haven't realized I want to hear a little story about your mother."

"To be honest, this is embarrassing."

"It's an order, so tell me about your mother.and Ahhh~"

Lucy held out an apple once more and I ate it.

"How do I explain it, first honestly I'm from another world and I was born there."

A woman came in.

The woman came out immediately after saying that.

With that we went to the room where Zep was being treated.

We both went in and found Zep sitting on the bed.

"Yoo you look healthy."

"I greet her normally because she must feel guilty."

"You were even able to withstand my ultimate attack."

"Haha I'm hurt bad you know?"

"Haha and how is Ana?"

When she asked about ana her face immediately turned gloomy and filled with guilt.

"She's not conscious yet but maybe soon she'll wake up because she's just exhausted."

We both sat in a chair by the bed, and Lucy handed him the leftover fruit she had brought from my room.

"Thank you."

"It looks like Asta won't forgive me after this."

"Maybe he blames you for almost killing Ana but I think more than that he blames himself for just being able to watch."

"Lucy's right, so don't beat yourself up too much mate."

"It seems reasonable, How about we go to Ana's place? at least I want to apologize to her when she wakes up."

"Is your body okay? you just realized."

"I'm fine, and don't look at me with that look of pity I'm a little disgusted."

"All right."

In the end, Zep immediately fell down while coming down from the bed so Lucy and I had to support him while going to Ana's room to be treated.

We enter and find Asta holding Ana's unconscious hand.

"You!!"

When he saw us enter his face immediately changed and ran towards us then hit Zep's face until thrown back and destroyed the wall.

The punch was filled with magic power so it was powerful enough to crush one's skull.

As Zep lay on the floor Asta continued to beat him in the face.

"You! how dare you show up in front of me after almost killing my fucking lover!!"

"You almost killed Ana, you know!? haven't you considered Ana your best friend all this time, huhh!!? answer me fucking shit!!"

Asta continued to beat up Zep while talking.

"I'm sorry."

It was all that came out of Zep's mouth after that back in silence waiting to be beaten back.

"Huh!? do you think I'll just forgive you by apologizing!? no kidding!"

"You!! you almost killed him and me! I couldn't even do anything at the time."

His voice shrank and disappeared at the last word.

"I can't do anything other than ask Ryu to save Ana."

"Damn it! if only I were stronger."

"Hehe Why are you so scaly?"

Another woman's voice sounded and it was Ana who was already conscious.

Asta immediately left Zep and ran towards Ana and immediately hugged her.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything."

Now Asta's tears are spilling.

"I'm sorry, I can't even protect you. I'm sorry."

Ana stroked Asta's hair with her weak and pale hands.

"Hehe Thank you for worrying about me, and please don't blame Zep for starting it."

I approached them while propping up Zep.

"I'm sorry for getting too carried away at the time."

Zep was the one who spoke, he lowered his head in the lowest way he could, if he was currently healthy maybe now he was already prostrating while banging his head on the floor.

"No problem, it's my fault for provoking you excessively and honestly I was ready to die back then. Looks like Asta has already beaten you, please forgive him.

"I deserve this."

"Don't do that, and please let Asta go, you know my body is still weak right now so I'm in quite a lot of pain because you're holding me too tight."

"Ah forgive me!"

"I'm happy because your relationship hasn't changed."

Lucy spoke up to shift the conversation for this gloomy atmosphere to dissipate.

"Lucy how are things outside?"

"That's pretty bad, hundreds of buildings were destroyed as a result of Zep's spear attack and there was even chaos where it is now, The tournament arena was completely destroyed by Ana's tornado magic and all of that should be recorded in both of you're owed."

Upon hearing that Ana and Zep's faces became paler, especially Zep who had destroyed hundreds of houses. Even if he worked his whole life he wouldn't be able to pay it all off.

While Ana though it was only one building but she destroyed a building that was quite large and quite important.

"But take it easy because I've paid off all your debts when you're unconscious."

The faces of the two of them instantly became relaxed but.

"In exchange I want you all to work under me for the rest of your lives, how? isn't that interesting?"

"I remember when I was first made a knight."

I remember when Lucy acted like a kind and loving heroine to make me her knight.

"I intend to become an adventurer together with Ryu when I graduate so I will accept your offer, only that I currently cannot perform a formal ceremony."
