Chapter 17 Selection Tournament

Today after returning from the academy I went to Lucy's place to continue sword practice in preparation for the selection tournament.

After training we drank tea again as usual, lately I visit more often because Lucy is currently not comparable to the previous.

The audience began to talk among themselves while mocking the school for putting Ana on the list.

Ana is surrounded by a tornado that causes Virgil to jump backwards.

After the tornado disappeared Ana appeared with her true form, all the spectators could only gap now.

"Thank God you could make me do this."

"Don't be arrogant!"

Virgil bowed while preparing to draw his sword, Virgil disappeared then reappeared behind Ana.

"a thousand slashes are invisible."

the floor Virgil passed through was instantly shattered due to that invisible slash but Ana was still standing there very quietly like nothing had happened.

Ana mocked him with a provocative tone.

Virgil raised his sword up, where it exploded from within his body and then gathered on his sword.

"Ashurashu!!"

Virgil swung his sword vertically then sword energy shot towards Ana while splitting everything that passed by him leaving a line on the ground as if the sword was actually cutting through the earth.

The energy continued forward and stopped before hitting the audience due to the barrier.

After all the dust disappeared Ana was not found anywhere.

"Hmm it was strong enough to be the size of a trash, it was just that the skill could only attack with a straight line and its range was so narrow that it was easily avoided."

Ana's voice continued to sound but she was nowhere to be found.

All the spectators started to look up and found Ana floating in the air.

"It looks like you've taken all your cards out, it's my turn, right?"

The air temperature dropped rapidly and the wind grew louder with each second, black clouds began to gather above the arena.

The wind began to spin faster and faster to form a giant tornado that spins up to the clouds.

Virgil who was near the tornado crashed out of the arena but Ana did not stop there she continued to magnify the scale of her tornado until it covered the entire arena.

the barrier shattered into pieces, the spectators started running around in panic.

But before the barrier reached the audience.

In front of Ana stood a female secretary who usually accompanied the headmaster.
