Misty Soil

Misty Soil
Cerry's missing

Sandika frantically repeatedly rubbed Cerry's back with wind oil, putting the wind oil close to her nose. Slowly Cerry opened his eyes. Sandika immediately hugged him tightly, she opened a bottle of water giving him a drink.

“Daddy, I've brought a supply of drinking water also in the bag.”

“You why be a bad father's son? Your mother worries about you at home.”

“ Anyway I want to come with dad.”

Mr. Egen asked to contact Mr. Kas to turn around to pick up Rina to follow them. As if Cerry knew the place to go, along the way he would not stop looking out the window. The haunted village holds hidden dark stories of mystical things. Fresh village air that is still free from air pollution. Sandika turned to look at Cerry smilingly waving her hand.

“You say hello to who nak?”

“That's yeah, brother who's been following you wherever dad goes.”

Sandika's heart beat violently, she did not expect that until now Murga was still watching her life. The question on his mind was whether Murga still wanted their relationship to be established or whether Murga was simply forced to let go?

Now he returns to the misty Telaga village carrying his family. Sandika still remembered Rambe's words and anger. His worries continued to enter the area of the village seen white fog enveloping.

“Pelan-pelan just drive it sir.”

“Ya den.”

A large house near the forest deliberately built Sandika as a stopover if it would be of interest in the village. The messenger of the guard and the housekeeper prepared to welcome his arrival. Mang Murat and mbok Nah were shocked and looked down together at Sandika.

“Welcome den.”

“We've cleaned den.” house

“Good thanks Mang and mbok. Please help me put things in room.”

Before stepping foot into the house, one of the trees on the left side swayed on its own. Cerry looked terrified burrowing his face on Sandika's shoulders. The man uttered surahs in his heart, stepping foot in bismillah.

He climbed the stairs, choosing a room for Cerry adjacent to his room. So that the atmosphere in it can make Cerry feel at home, he ordered Mr. Egen to juggle Cerry's room like a Disney princess-themed room in the contents of various dolls and other equipment. Egen also provides beautiful dresses and clothes.

“Honey, this is your room. Do you like it?”

“Wah the room is very good. Cerry loves it, thanks yah!”

The sound of the car horn of Rina's arrival noticed from earlier she was like someone was following. Until he pointed to one of the workers if there was anyone in the tree section to the left of the yard.

“Pak please check there like someone is standing.”

“Sorry madam, Mamang didn't see anyone there.”

Hearing the man's reply then Rina hurriedly went inside. Inside, Sandika looks focused in front of her laptop screen. Lina sat at the side watching the man occasionally observe the room.

“You have nyampe? Sana break with Cerry.”

“Ya later only. Whose house is San? From just now all my hair is very goosebumps.”

“This is a special house when I have a job requirement in this village.”

“Yes, he is my smart and clever son.”

......................

Now Sandika has the status of a father for Cerry and husband for Rina. He could no longer freely go in and out of the forest or the foggy lake looking for his past lover. In the sleep, Lina heard a very loud knock on the door. Without waking up Sandika whose sleeping position always turned her face away from it. He went down the stairs, the lights could not be turned on, behind the darkness the sound of knocking on the door was getting louder. Rina felt an object nearby looking for illumination. But only a coldness blew in his ears. She screamed in fear, her voice heard Sandika woke up stomping the body carrying a flashlight looking for Rina.

“Sandika! I'm so scared!”

She hugged her husband following the way back to the room. Sandika who did not want to come into contact for too long with him pushed the woman's body and grabbed a glass of water available on the table.

“So feel better yet?”

Rina simply replied nodding giving the glass to her hand. Sandika walked into Cerry's room, slowly she opened the door to see the little girl falling asleep. Strange sounds heard from outside, familiar sounds right in the old time he was in this haunted village. Before leaving he made sure the window in Cerry's room was locked tightly. He fixed Cerry's blanket, rubbing his head slowly back shut the door.

The sound of Sandika's car horn leaves the house. Cerry waved at the carrying of Rina who was still seeing the departure of her husband's car. He turned to one of the trees where he first arrived at the house. The same figure appeared, Rina ran to bring Cerry in to close the door tightly.

“Mbok!” call Rina.

He checked the kitchen, the sink faucet lit up but there was no one. Rina looked from the window, her son playing on a swing while laughing out loud. When he turned around, his heart almost missed the presence of the mbok in front.

“Mrs looking for me?”

“Mbok, do you often see or hear strange sounds in this house?”

“No non. But since it's near the forest I'd better remind the mistress never to go out at night alone.”

Rina quickens the steps to the back of the house looking for Cerry. An empty swing added to his panic. He called Cerry's name, the little boy answered his call from the balcony of the house.

“Cerry don't get too close to the edge!” yell Rina.

He ran to catch the body of his son who almost fell. Cerry was crying and not leaving the balcony. He said he still wanted to play with his friend. The figure of a little boy who transformed into a human is very familiar with Cerry. Rina sees no one on the balcony other than her and her son, She forces Cerry into the room, holding back emotions as Cerry screams calling Tata's name.

“Sayang, said the same Provision of the game yes you have to take a nap. If you're naughty, I'll bring papa Loh!”

The small threat succeeded in making him obey the words of his mother. Tata is not visible, all day Rina sleep beside Cerry to keep her son so as not to disturb the figure of the occupants of the house. In his heart until he fell asleep he recited the memorization of the holy verses. But when he woke up, he didn't see Cerry by his side.

“Cerry, where are you nak?”

“Mbok, mang, did you guys see where Cerry is?”

Rina's shout broke the calm atmosphere of the forest. He walked up to the inside reluctant to hear the words of mang Kurat and mbok Nah in order to stay away from the forest.

“Cerry!”
