Midnight Couple: War Between Two Worlds

First time together

Toshio lowers Kyoko to the ground. Then they left the park. Toshio walks in front while putting both his hands into his pants pocket and Kyoko follows from behind while holding her katana strap.

“What do you eat ?” Ask Toshio

“Terserah...the important thing is full.” Answer Kyoko.

They continued walking without speaking at all. In front of them was a ramen and oden stall on the side of the road. Toshio immediately stepped towards the stall.  Kyoko continued to follow Toshio from behind without speaking a word. Then they arrived at the ramen stall which happened to be quiet again.

“Ossan, I ordered ramen 1 bowl yes.....what do you want?” Ask Toshio.

“Anything...” Kyoko replied briefly.

“Ya already ossan, order 1 more bowl yes...” Added Toshio.

 “Alright, just sit down first.this is the towel...if here ossan provide towel.”.

“Thank you ossan Toshio Reply.

Kyoko was silent. He took his towel and started wiping his face. Toshio looked towards Kyoko and noticed her.

“This boy...kok can fall from the sky yes...” Her thought.

Then he looked again looking ahead. The atmosphere became awkward as both of them were silent and did not talk to each other. Soon their ramen was served by Ossan. Because it was quiet so the service was rather fast. Toshio instantly took the chopsticks and split them. Then he looked at Kyoko who was silent.

“Why ? said hungry ?” Ask Toshio.

“Umm use which chopsticks?” Ask Kyoko.

“Haaah..which anywhere...this is it...I have cleaned.” Toshio Reply.

He gives his chopsticks to Kyoko. Then Kyoko immediately took her chopsticks.

Then he also immediately ate his ramen with greed because he was too hungry. Kyoko then turned to Toshio who was eating. Then he raised his hand.

“Ossan, ramen her 1 bowl again yes and I ask for a bowl of oden as well.”

Cheerfully Kyoko waits for her food to come because her ramen before her is up. His feet were swaying under the chair.  He kept looking at Toshio who was still eating.

Then she looked forward again because her ramen and oden orders had already come. Kyoko immediately took her bowl and ate it voraciously. Toshio is done.

“Goshousama.”

Then he stood up and took his wallet out of his pocket. Seeing Toshio standing up, Kyoko immediately turned her head.

“Where to ?” Ask her.

“Return...” Answer Toshio briefly.

Then he paid for Kyoko's food. He immediately left.

“Yup, I'm alone here..” Kyoko replied while sipping her ramen.

Then he closed the tent and sat back down while putting his elbows on the table and propping up his chin. Kyoko continues to eat quietly and enjoys her very much. Soon enough, Kyoko is done,

Without delay, the two of them directly walked out of the tavern. Toshio walked back to his apartment. Many things came to his mind, he still did not understand why he could live again and so on, especially when he was accused by his club and thrown in jail. Then he saw Toshio open the window and light his cigarette. Toshio sat by the window with an ashtray in front of him.

Kyoko immediately approaches Toshio and picks up her cigarette.

“For as long as I don't smoke, if you want to smoke out.” Kyoko replied while leaving her waist.

Once inside she sees Kyoko putting her katana on her face.

“What's below......?” Ask Kyoko.

Toshio turned his back and began to sleep. So did Kyoko who turned her body towards the window. That night neither one could sleep because of their own thoughts.

The next day, Toshio wakes up a bit during the day, after waking up he looks around and does not find Kyoko. Then he looked up at the table and saw a letter left on the table. Toshio immediately picked it up and read it.

“Yamishiki san, thank you for the dinner and her stay. Matsuoka Kyoko.”

He fell asleep again after reading his letter. Then he turned around and turned around again. He finally woke up.
