It all started when Toshio and Kyoko released Suzu's head into the sea. After Toshio and Kyoko leave, Suzu's sunken head really dies. When she dies, the real Suzu wakes up in the tube.

Back in the present day, Toshio and Kyoko stay in Sho and Suzu's cabin.
