In the heart of the capital Paris, an internal meeting of the people's councils is taking place there. There were two groups of couples, Joseph and Samuel. Both of them have superior value in the presidential and vice presidential elections. Joseph Matthew, supported by his wife's family company, Alexa. The marriage of Joseph and Alexa is still not given offspring.
Even so, the two rarely talk about heredity because their relationship is very tenuous. They live under the same roof, but they only say hello to strangers. There is no harmony, or perhaps tranquility in the residence of the couple Joseph and Alexa.
“I hope our successful team is able to handle the political money news that is being intensively circulated among the officials,”, Joseph told his success team.
“Good, Sir. We will take care of it as best we can,” they replied following Joseph's orders.
Not long after the phone call came on Joseph's phone. The man suddenly frowned.
“Meeting we finished first get here,” his orders before exiting the meeting room which happens to be available in a magnificent house like a French royal palace.
Joseph walked to a place where he felt no one would listen to his conversation. The phone call came from Mia, one of Joseph and Margaret's confidants. It turns out that the call was not made only once today, but there were dozens of missed calls from Mia, the butler at the home of the late Margaret.
With a single swipe, Joseph had connected with Mia in her place.
“Mia, what's up until you call me this much?” joseph asked curiously.
“Sorry, Big Master. I just want to let you know about Miss Audrey's health,” Mia said timidly.
“Audrey, what's going on now? Is my daughter conscious?” joseph asked curiously.
Although Joseph was unable to meet Audrey freely since the beginning of his marriage to Alexa, but Joseph always monitored the growth and development of the princess alone until he grew up as he is now. The sudden accident that killed Margaret was certainly a personal injury to Joseph. All his efforts to seek the truth are hampered by one's power.
Who else is the mastermind if not the family of Alexa who does not want Joseph to continue to be in touch with Margaret. Strange, when a father intends to be close to his son it is complicated by the circumstances that exist.
“Miss Audrey is awake, sir. B-but something is wrong with him,” said Mia intend to tell Joseph about Audrey's situation, because after all Joseph is Audrey's real father.
“But why, Mia? What happened to my daughter?” joseph asked, his forehead wrinkled, a sign that the man was very curious about the health of his daughter with Margaret.
Audrey is a symbol of his love with Margaret, even when the world closed their access to each other, still the heart and feelings of Joseph still owned by his late beloved woman until Margaret breathed her last. The love that should be able to be the reason for the union of two people, instead becomes the reason for separation for both of them.
Although sometimes Joseph looked for the right time to meet Margaret and Audrey in a moment of longing had mounted in the heart and mind of the man.
“Miss Audrey forgot her identity. Only the Big Lady remembers. Now Miss Audrey is undergoing counseling with Doctor Khatrine,” Mia explained to Joseph.
“A-what? How could that happen, Mia? Report to me every detail of the results of the examination that the doctor will tell you,”, Joseph said.
Audrey lived with her mother and servants. Growing up without a father with him, Joseph was just a distant figure for Audrey to reach even in her dreams.
“I will come home as soon as possible, please take good care of Audrey,” the door is crowded in the chest.
Shouldn't it be his duty to keep his daughter safe? Why should Joseph hide the truth about his child for power alone? The answer is because Joseph wants to be in power, so that no one dares to resist his power. Joseph wanted to be sovereign by his own choice, without always being driven by his family, and also felt anxious over Audrey's safety which could have been threatened at any time.
Mia nodded in her place. “Without Master ordering, I will take good care of Young Miss,” Mia said before their call ended.
Just now Joseph was about to turn around, it turns out Alexa has been standing somehow since when. It's likely that Alexa also listened to Joseph's conversations with Mia.
“That girl?” ask Alexa to Joseph.
“Call her properly, Alexa!” joseph said commemorating his legal wife.
“The son of your mistress, is that how I should call her, Joseph?” alexa asked with a cynical smile, enduring the tightness that now enveloped her soul.
“Stop saying bad things about my daughter,” sergeant Joseph can no longer bear to listen to Alexa's words that always insult Margaret and Alexa.
Alexa clapping her hands. “You have a daughter, Mr Joseph?” alexa screeched deliberately hardened the intonation of her voice.
Joseph was stunned, not expecting Alexa to be childish when their house was still crowded by guests who had just attended an internal meeting of Joseph's successful team in the presidential nomination. All eyes were now staring at Alexa and Joseph, as if they heard a sentence but were unsure of it.
“Alexa, shut up!” joseph whispered full of warning.
Alexa chuckles lightly. “Look, you were so scared when the world found out that you already had a child with a woman other than myself. Then what kind of designation is suitable for the child of a mistress like herself?” alexa said without caring about the look on Joseph's face at this time.
“Do not test my patience, Alexa!” joseph looked at Alexa as if he were talking to his opponent.
“You won't go anywhere. If I see you come to your daughter, I will tell the whole world what kind of depraved behavior you are playing,” threatened Alexa.
Alexa feels powerless when she learns that the husband she loves loves turns out to love other women and builds a happy life with Margaret. What else is the presence of the baby in the betrayal that makes Alexa unable to let the arbitrariness of Joseph continues to happen.
She also has a heart and feelings, although Alexa seems very cold and arrogant, but she is still a woman who wants her husband to treat her like a husband to his wife.
